About this cottage rental
Our reviews speak for themselves.... so, ESCAPE from it all.... wooded retreat.... PRIVATE, yet convenient, nestled on 53 + acres of natural woods.
Approximately 10 miles to Tryon International Equestrian Center, 3 miles to Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, (FENCE), under 6 miles to Harmon Field, Tryon NC, & less than 2 miles to Town and restaurants.
Pet friendly Cottage, with full amenities. 1 Bedroom (Queen Bed), Living Room w/ full sleeper sofa, roll out twin cot, air mattress, & wood burning fireplace. Sleeps 5. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 TV's, Wifi, deck overlooking the woods, charcoal grill and ample parking, including a 1 car, carport.
Please know that we are a small hobby working farm, which brings with it the sounds of animals, and on occasion there is a chorus of background honks, crows and squabbles. We can on occasion offer fresh organic eggs and honey.

Centrally located between our areas of interest. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Will definitely again.

Great stay! Clean! I am allergic to cats and dogs and had a bit of difficulty breathing while sitting on the couch, however the listing DID say pet friendly.

Property is gorgeous and in the perfect setting for a secluded weekend away from it all. Our host went above and beyond in every way. Communication was a breeze. Will absolutely book again. 😊

Wonderful stay. Beautiful home well stocked. Comfy bed. Lovely deck for sitting outside enjoying nature only 15 min to Tryon equestrian center. Wineries near by. Host was communicative and helpful. Great place to bring your dog. We will be back.

This property was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Appreciated the extra blankets for my dogs. The bath towels were plush and the shower hot. I was out for most of the day exploring the beautiful area. Nice to come back to a comfortable place, sit on the deck and watch a little TV at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Our host was extremely accommodating and even proactively offered s an early check-in to beat a storm that was forecast. We would definitely return.

Came here to look for possible areas to move to someday. Brought our dogs due to all the hiking trails around. Host was very communicative and the property was remote enough yet close enough to everything you need.

I booked this for my mother as a thank you for all she does. It worked out wonderfully and she was able to relax and enjoy herself. The hostess was great.

The house and location were great! It was very peaceful and we enjoyed watching all of the deer that were around. We had everything we needed for our stay. Shelley was a great communicator and very accommodating. Any questions we had were answered quickly. The check in/check out process was easy. I would highly recommend this property. We needed relaxation and this was the perfect place for it. We will definitely be back if we can!

This was the easiest VRBO we've stayed. 10-13 minutes from TIEC, quite with WiFi to work remotely and all the amenities - even towels to wipe puppy feet! Communication from & with the host was always quick and easy. Answering questions and helpful tips navigating the area. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We were looking for a retreat from the busy world we live in! Was just what we needed. Well maintained, clean, and comfortable. Several quaint small towns surrounded our location with great local shops and restaurants. Would stay there again ,our host was most helpful and friendly.

Very relaxing setting that had an abundance of kitchen items not normally available - foil, saran wrap, baggies, spices. Bed was comfortable and sheets were very soft. Hostess even had towels available to clean pet paws! She walked us through using tv and asked about wedding that we attended while there. Great stay!

We had a great time. Cabin was clean and deck view was very enjoyable. The host was amazing and communication was excellent with all. We felt so welcomed. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Peaceful and connected to Nature
We had a wonderful time in this property. The house is beautifully surrounded by mature trees. We were able to see deers, listen to so many different birds and enjoyed the silence and tranquility of the area.
As soon as we came in to the house, we fell in love with the view of the outside. The house was spotless. We had everything that we needed.. The host , Shelley, was very nice, attentive and always had great communication with us. She had great details for the dogs such as blankets and towels for their paws.
I can’t wait to come back. There is so much to see and places to visit. On this trip we visited the downtown area of Saluda, DuPont Forest Park to see the waterfalls. I

We had a great time. Cabin was clean and deck view was very enjoyable. The host was amazing and communication was excellent with all. We felt so welcomed. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful experience
Loved this property. The location is perfect if visiting family in the area. Very relaxing. We were disappointed only that it rained and we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful deck area. Shelley was wonderful and very responsive to any questions. Thanks!

Wonderful stay
The cottage is very nice, well appointed, and immaculately clean. The location is secluded but only minutes away from grocery and restaurants. The forest views are lovely and just as enjoyable through the wall of living room windows as from the deck, should the weather be uncooperative. It’s also a great place for dogs with dedicated towels and blankets, and a thoughtful gate for blocking off the deck stairs so they can’t scamper off after the neighboring deer. Shelley is super friendly and accommodating. Check in/out was a snap. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Clean and comfortable cabin!
Property was exactly as described, but our week was mostly wet from daily rain. Cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable so the rain was tolerable.
Owner was available if needed and very helpful.
