Uma casa para criar memórias

Em pleno centro de Santa Comba Dão, junto ao rio e perto da igreja com sinos a repique, vale a pena conhecer este alojamento que nos transporta para as mercearias do passado com todo o conforto e modernidade. As marcas antigas, a estética cuidada e não excessiva, a elegância dos pormenores vintage e um magnífico pequeno-almoço fazem das Casas com Estória o melhor ponto de partida para descobrir a zona centro.

Brilliant top quality stay that is also unbelievable value

Spotlessly clean, modern, beautiful room with balcony. Fabulous breakfast. Central location and loads to do in area.

Lovely accommodation in a pretty town.

The hotel was in a perfect location overlooking a pretty square. Parking was a few steps away in a free town car park. Lovely view from our balcony. Breakfast was continental with a good choice including fresh orange juice and freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Host was very helpful as the day we were there not many restaurants were open in the evening but she booked us in at a restaurant overlooking the municipal swimming pool and river beyond where we enjoyed a very nice evening meal.

The town itself was very quiet but be warned there are two sets of church bells which strike the time on the hour , every hour and one of them also strikes once on the half hour! One set is slow so strikes after the first set have finished.This goes on all day and night! Apart from the bells we loved the hotel and the town.

Great place to stay in the Dão region, a house full of character and a beautiful renewal.

Entering the building in the evening was amazing: a large lounge, heated and very welcoming. The accommodation was impeccable: large room, well-equipped bathroom, excellent bed, a great view. The host made contact on the eve of the arrival, answered all issues and adapted the breakfast as requested. Although we booked just for a sleepover, the city was also a surprise and the winter visit was very nice.

Cannot point out any fault.

One of the best places we have stayed!

There is nothing not to like in this property! the staff is 5 stars! Easy check in! comfortable beds, cozy decor, delicious breakfast with fresh products! perfect location in a very charming and elegant building! it was our second time and it won’t be our last!

smart, modern, tastuful, practical, spotless - a treat!

Very nice breakfast. Wonderful scrambled eggs (p.s. they are not good at most hotels). Very nice person getting breakfast ready in the kitchen.

Can't think of anything. Place was not very easy to find and know where to park car, but it was not a problem.

We were contacted before arrival and had a little difficulty locating the actual building with the accommodation, but a phone call fixed it. It is by far our best experience in such a property; every thig was perfect and well organised Staying for only one night we certainly did not make the most of the place Breakfast was just splendid we shall recommend this place to potential visitors The town itself is worth a visit

Beaufiful stay in relaxing spot

This was a gorgeous, relaxing place to stay. The room was great with a fantastic balcony to chill out on overlooking the little square. There was an honesty bar fridge in room which you could obviously use for your own drinks etc too. Free car park just a few seconds walk away. Didn’t meet the hosts but communication was good and access was easy. We only stayed an night before cycling on the ecopista nearby but would happily return.

Wall between rooms was a bit thin so could hear switches being turned on and off next door

Charming Casas com Estoria.

As soon you enter the building you feel good and welcome. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was the highlight. Simple but prepared with style.

Great little town, beautiful areas to explore nearby. Like the ecopista cycling route. The house was beautifully designed, very well thought through design of a historical space. Very comfortable room with view over the square. Highly recommend. Nice big bath. Contactless check in was well managed.

Pleasant stay, cozy and intimate

Room is beautiful within the center of Santa Comba Dão. Everything is allusive to the vintage Portuguese heritage. Breakfast was served on time and was delicious.

Cozy and clean

Central location with parking, the house Dionísio was super cozy and clean. We had some food available at the arrival and fresh water/juice, which was really nice. Ana was really helpful and kind.

Ana was a great host, always checking-in to ask if we were ok. The check-in was contactless which is a plus in the pandemic times. The facilities were great and the breakfast prepared by Cristina resembled my childhood at my grandparents'. It is for sure a great place to spend some relaxed days.

Best place to stay in Santa Comba Dão

The rehabilitation work was very well done. We are in very humble and old original structures with all the comfort and amenities of modern housing. The host is very kind and the breakfast is simple but great!
