About this house rental
This house is a gem, with 3 bedrooms, two baths, an upstairs and down stairs screened in porch, I love to get up early and just sit outside with a cup of coffee, listen to the birds sing, squirrels jumping from tree to tree. while fish are jumping in the lake. very peaceful, quiet, and at the end of a cove, which means no boat traffic
A great vacation for your family and friends, your children will be talking about this vacation for years. One king size bed, a queen size bed, Two sets of bunk beds with trundle Murphy bed downstairs, also day bed on top screened in porch, which also has trundle bed, sleeps 10 easy.
Easy walk to the end of the private dock, fish or swim right off the dock, a great view of the lake. Double boat house, plenty of room to put your water toys. You can launch your boat right in the cove. Outside wood pit overlooking lake.
Just a short 7 mile ride to Crooked Creek marina, with a brand new restaurant, called Grill, where you can sit and enjoy your food, while overlooking the lake. A lot of restaurants and stores in Milledgeville. AMC theater also located in the mall. There is a super Walmart in both Eatonton and Milledgeville. Kroger and ALDI are nearby. Eatonton has a Ingles and Piggly Wiggly. There are several golf courses located nearby along with pickle ball courts.
The city of Eatonton is 15 miles from the house, 22 miles to Milledgeville, 20 miles to Greensboro, 32 miles to Madison, all historical sites. Forgot something and don’t want to drive. Instacart will deliver to you.
If you forgot something we now have a Dollar General store, 7 miles from the house.So pack up your family and friends, come on over to see Lake Sinclair.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is big and is exactly as shown in the pictures. We loved sitting at the swing on the porch. It was fun watching the deer family coming in the evenings. The surroundings are beautiful. Not too far from town. We even swam in the lake.

Nice home. Very clean and everything needed. The dock was great and the lake perfect! Not a criticism, but if you are bringing a little bigger boat, plan on taking it a couple miles down the road to the marina to launch and load it. There is a ramp, but very shallow. Would definitely stay there again!

This place was wonderful!!! Loved the fact that it was in a cove so you didn't have muck boat traffic. The house is beautiful especially the huge screened in porch, we stayed out there a lot when we were not in the water. Would defiantly recommend this place and can not wait to come back again!!!

My family and a few of our friends stayed here Memorial Day weekend and it was everything we needed and more. Our friends of 20+ years have been getting together every summer for the major Holidays, but the house we always stayed in was sold last year, and this house was perfect to accommodate us. It Is tucked in a cove which made it easy swimming for the kids. The fishing was also good right off of the dock. There is a little walk to the water from the house but it was manageable. Also there is WiFi provided so that was nice but there was not hardly any cell service. I didn’t mind that one bit though, it was nice to unplug for the weekend. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this property and I hope to be able to book again soon! P.S. Mrs. Peggy was very attentive and answered all of the questions that I had!

Very pleased with the house. Was exactly what we needed. Weather was rough a few days but made it good for being lazy. Boat house was perfect for fishing. Will book again in the future

Thank you so much for providing such a beautiful place to relax. We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful lake house! The view was great, and we loved the screened porches. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our stay. Especially my senior parents. My mom is in a wheelchair and is hard to find a place with the accommodations for her. We really appreciate that the owner was very responsive to all our needs ❤️

House was great, lake was beautiful and my family had a great time. House was clean and big enough for all of us to enjoy if weather didn’t allow outside activities. I have no complaints at all. It is noteworthy that you may have no service at the property which we did not, so get in g the code upon arrival was a bit of a struggle, but just a minor deal as the four days we had were just relaxing and wonderful! We have definitely considered booking again!

Our family of 7 enjoyed our stay here! It was very clean and we loved the kitchen! We had everything we needed! The dock was perfect for hanging out and we def liked the covered boat house. We will definitely consider staying here again!

We had a great time staying at this lovely property! The home was built in 1977 & has been updated. It was convenient, comfortable & clean. We appreciated the snacks upon our arrival. They tided us over until we could get unpacked & dinner prepared. The polished concrete floors are beautiful & perfect for guests with a dog. Plenty of dining space to feed a large crowd with the double bar space, dining table, & two picnic tables on the screened porch. We hosted breakfast one morning for additional family staying on the lake; the long bar space & dining areas were perfect for serving & seating our 16! We’re a family of five & all had a comfy spot on the couch watching tv. It’s nice and quiet having the bedrooms upstairs & the living area downstairs when you want to sleep in. We brought our boat & the put in was just a few lots down. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & hope to visit again! Thank you!

House had some dog odor but otherwise was clean. Some of the beds were uncomfortable but the king bed was comfy. It would be hard to park more than 2 cars if you had a large group. Great location.

I was a bit concerned because there was a lot of "stuff" in the yard (boats on trailers, etc) when I pulled in and there was an older trailer very close to the house. The house itself was lovely and once you got down to the lake, the trailer became irrelevant. Very clean and lots of space.

We had a really great time. The house was as comfortable as being at home. Clean and very welcoming. My grandchildren and I enjoyed the games and the little ones loved the singing Christmas dog! Thank you for sharing your home! My daughter from Florida is already planning another vacation and wants to come back. Great place to stay for all ages!

As mentioned in the title, the property was better than was alluded to in the pictures. The couch is much larger, there is a murphy bed and the parking was superb. All of this and the very generous amenities make this one of the houses my friends and I will stay at again-- I promise you'll love it.

What a great home with great hosts. If you want a beautiful place to stay on the water look no further. The home has everything and two great patios. The backyard is amazing and lightly slopes towards the water where as other properties have a severe drop off which makes this a great place if you have kids. The inside of the home is so inviting and cozy and the beds were super comfortable!!!! We had 10 of us and not one person complained about anything. The housekeeper had the house beautiful and clean for us on our arrival and the place couldn’t have been cleaner! So happy we found this gem and pray we can do it again next year!!!

July 4th family lake getaway
Everything went great..We had a very good time...The place was very clean and beautifully decorated with a soothing and relaxing vibe.. The house was fully stocked and everything that you could need..If there was any downside; We didn't have a boat or pontoon, and we couldn't see the fireworks display where we were... I would suggest that the owner could rent their pontoon out for a day...But I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.. Me, my husband, my children, and my grandchildren had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed this property so much. The layout is great with the large kitchen with the 2 bars to eat at. the shower downstairs and upstairs was really nice and the porches were so relaxing to sit on and just enjoy the lake view and the scenery around the house. The dock was large and made for a great fishing location and the swings in the yard near the dock and on the back porch were enjoyable . very nice place to stay and we would recommend it to anyone.

The one bathroom upstairs was a little awkward as it was the only one upstairs with 3 bedrooms, but there was a full bath downstairs as well. The patios were great, especially with the rainy weather. We made our own cane poles and the kids caught fish off the dock. The down stairs was great for cooking, watching football and hanging out, just what we were looking for, plenty of room.

Pleasantly surprised at just how well this house handled our family. With 2 kids under 5, the stairs were a bit intimidating but everyone handled it just fine! It's notable that ALL bedrooms are on the second floor, so it's not a great place for elderly or handicapped (of which we had one and had to find alternate accommodations for bc we did not realize this). The bottom floor is polished concrete, and so it's practically indestructible! Perfect for the dogs. There is a full bath on the first floor, and it's the only other bathroom in the house. Upstairs, the bathroom is both the master on suite and the shared bath. A bit odd layout but works fine. The upstairs bath is the tub, downstairs is just a shower.
The porches are both large, great views, and are pretty well a key feature of the house. Plenty of counter space which is great, tho it's odd that they are all different heights (the one is very tall - w small kids it was great bc they can't reach what is up there). Pots and pans were not that great, so if cooking big meals you may need to bring a few things. Beds were comfortable. This is the perfect place for a bunch of teenagers or college kids! Sleeps a ton of people, and has a lot of places to just hang out! Tons of parking.. it was fall during our visit, therefore we did not swim or use the dock much. We are from FL, it was COLD to us! But man the views from the dock were unexpected pretty considering the house location in the cove - perfect!
As a mom, I noticed you cannot well see the yard from inside the house which was a challenge. From the porch, perfect views however. Tons of games in the cabinets which all loved. The house is well stocked in towels and linens.
A great experience, we will certainly look to be back!
