The cabin was perfect for our stay and the scenery was amazing! The fence worked great for the dogs to be let out. We all enjoyed our stay!

Thank you! Nice Montana nights.

Amazing views. We wanted somewhere away from it all where we could have dinner with a view and watch the stars after the kids went to bed. Well furnished and had everything we needed. It was a bit of a drive to yellowstone, but it was scenic and we saw wildlife every time we made the trip. Comfortable, clean, and a great value if you don't mind (or want) to be away from it all.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it. Great location, quiet and beautiful. Exactly as listed.

We booked this for a quick get away during spring break. The property and surrounding area were great. We love the views of the mountains from both decks were beautiful. Our dog had plenty of space to run around. The cabin was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. The property was also conveniently located near all of things we wanted to do, Chico Hotsprings, Emigrant and hiking trails. We loved this property and will be back!

We loved this beautiful property and so did our pups! The fenced yard makes it super convenient to be outside enjoying the mountains and fresh air! 360 degrees of beauty! It had everything we needed!

This is one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The house is perfect. It has everything you need, and it was squeaky clean. I felt incredibly comfortable. The 360 degrees views from the home are to die for. The backyard is perfect for some grilling and relaxation. It is very close to Chico Hot Springs. It’s also in between Livingston and Emmigrant. My only regret was not staying longer. When we return to Montana, this is the first place I will book. Congratulations to the owners. However, you don’t deal with the owners; instead, it’s a rental company. I didn’t have the best communication with the company, but I’m spoiled with constant communications from all the rentals we do.
My only observation is that the road to get to the house is not paved. It’s a dirt road and some uphill. A truck would be helpful. We were there during summertime.

When I think of the quintessential stay in Montana, I think of a log cabin surrounded by mountains and that is exactly what this place is! I loved this cabin and could see myself permanently living in something like this as it has everything you need without being overkill. It's at the end of the lane with fantastic views on all sides! I appreciate the ease of the self check in process and the complete privacy I had during my stay. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in the YNP, Livingston, Paradise Valley area as this is a great place to base camp for adventures or just hang out all day like I did taking in the views.

My husband, my 2 teen guys, and I stayed here for our week long summer vacation getaway. It was so peaceful and beautiful, even my boys loved it. So close to Yellowstone and it's in a valley that's in a section of Gallatin National Forest. It's also a reasonable driving distance to Livingston for any needed food or other supplies. Due to it being the dry season, we understandably couldn't have an actual fire in the firepit. We were allowed to use our propane travel fire pit though and that was good enough for us.
King bed was comfy, had a great amount of dishes/utensils to use.Washer & dryer works great. My boys said the upstairs beds were ok and good enough. We all appreciated access to wifi while there also.

Great location and cabin met all our needs….
The cabin was great and the views were amazing. The surrounding area is nice too. We loved stopping by the Emigrant General Store every morning on our way out. There’s also a bakery and BBQ joint across the road from the store that’s pretty good. The cabin was stocked with a lot of items that came in handy. Like coffee & creamer, washing detergent and many other items. The only complaint would be the spiders, but I understand that it’s hard to get rid of them. So, we didn’t mind taking care of the ones we saw. We would definitely stay here again.

We certainly enjoyed our time at this cute cabin. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. We visited Chico, Yellowstone, Hiked and Hiked some more. The cabin had everything that we could possibly need. The bed was super comfy and cabin was nice and clean. We highly recommend and certainly hope to visit again.

Log Cabin with Fantastic Mountain Views
We love the area around Livingston to do fly fishing and Public access points are easy to find. The road to the cabin was hard to find and we called Glen and he stayed on the phone with us to make sure we found it. Once we were there it was a beautiful setting and very relaxing. We were here the 2nd week of October and the winds were really strong with 3 days of snow. We are from the south and enjoyed the change in the weather and caught most of our fish in the snow. There is a TV upstairs but it is only for Netflix movies and not any regular TV stations. We used our phone to get Live TV channels. One tricky thing was finding the silverware drawer, just so you know it is on the other side of the L shape counter. My favorite thing was drinking coffee in the big leather chair and watching the sunrise over the snow covered mountains. Love this area .

Watching the stars at night here was worth everything. The two verandas are great for different times of day - back veranda (deck, with grill & picnic table) late afternoon to watch little clouds play above the mountans that seem close enough to touch, side veranda at night to watch the sunset and the stars. Plenty of space to relax, nice table for eating, kitchen with just about all you need, I'd have bought a steamer if I'd been there longer but there are pots & pans, a stove, a microwave. All you need. Little extra touches like the flashlight in the bedroom, and the binoculars made my day. I enjoyed Chico and the little store at Emigrant only 5 miles away where people were really friendly. bought socks, meat, tea and a bandanna, gotta love that. Loved this place. My only concern was that the long road that leads to the driveway needs maintenance - very rocky and rutted in a few spots and I was happy to be driving a rental. We drove very slowly in and out but it was a concern. The driveway specific to this cabin is well maintained. the open prairie we passed through to get there was like home to us and the views were fantastic - so close. The host - Glenn for this cabin was responsive and friendly and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Perfect Private Getaway
We couldn't have been happier staying in this quaint cabin. Perfect for a small family. Very private. Had everything we needed. Short trip to town for groceries etc. Beautiful drive to Yellowstone National park. Public access to Yellowstone river right across the road. We will absolutely stay again.

Retreat in Parasise
This was really ideal for “getting away” from it all while still being connected when needed. It was a vacation for me, but my husband had to work remotely, so he needed reliable internet and cell service. It was wonderful to be surrounded by mountains, but still connected for work. The scenery made work more fun. And the beautiful snow and crisp clean air made us want to walk and be outside. We walked down the road. We drove and then walked in the mountains. We even sat on the deck in the sun enjoying some coffee (yes, even in the cold of winter-thanks to down jackets). What a magical place!
Google maps hasn’t updated the area, so I recommend arriving during daylight hours. We arrived after dark and ended up at the neighbor’s house. He kindly directed us to this cabin (we couldn’t even see it in the dark of night). The owner, Glen, was helpful and responsive on text whenever we had questions. Overall it was one of our best VRBO experiences!

Great getaway!
The cabin was great and as nice as the pictures! Glenn was easy to reach and more than helpful. The mattress and comforter was heavenly! The only problem was the tv was upstairs and only connected to netflix or dvd's. The stero on the first floor needs a lightning plug adapter- glad I brought a Bose box so I could listen to the radio or tv.

Absolutely the BEST
Great communication with owners! GORGEOUS property and the Extras were icing on the cake...fresh flowers, binoculars by the front windows, perfect stay! We traveled through SD, Wyoming, and Montana and this place was by far the best!

Relaxing and Inviting
This property was exactly what we were looking for, comfortable, quiet, great views and relaxing. It had everything we needed to be able to cook, and do laundry but it was only 20 minutes to downtown Livingston when we wanted to get out. There are great hikes nearby if you like to get out into nature, but really just being on the front porch drinking our morning coffee was the best. Good wifi, and streaming services were provided but we never even put the TV on while there. There are books to read and games to keep you busy. Don't hesitate to book this house, you won't be disappointed! We just wish we booked it for longer!

Paradise.
This is a wonderful gem property where we achieved full relaxation and a state of bliss. It is hard to imagine a better, cozier place than this one. We really did not want to leave, it was that comfortable. Absolutely outstanding experience. Long walks at night before sunset, going to Second Street Bistro in Livingston (awesome food), and delicious breakfast at the Old Saloon. The little grocery store in Emigrant was very well-stocked with everything needed. Central location with panoramic views of the mountains. Can't wait to go back!

This property is in an absolutely stunning location in Paradise Valley, with beautiful scenic views in every direction. The accommodations are lovely--a perfect getaway for city dwellers. We also enjoyed relatively easy access by car to Livingston and Yellowstone NP. I'd come here again without hesitation!!!

Fantastic Vacation!
We couldn’t be happier with the week we just spent at Last Best Cabin. Beautifully decorated, cozy yet spacious. This cabin has it all. Breathtaking views surround you as you relax and unwind. Tons of hiking trails close by, great restaurants and we loved the live entertainment at The Saloon.
