Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. The house was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Particularly loved the gigantic dining room table. It was perfect for our very large family get together. We would definitely stay here again!!!

We are a large family (23) and have members of all ages. This location provided the space and activities that all ages could enjoy and participate in. The property manager was especially accommodating and helpful with all questions and concerns. We had a great experience!

Loved the property. We had a larger group of family (23 total) and had enough rooms/beds for all. Location was perfect with great lake views and yard for kids to run around in. Kids loved the sand beach area too. Was beautiful in late October. Plenty of kitchen space and dining space for us all. Property manager met us on check in/check out and was very helpful. Would love to come back.

This property was the best. Nancy was very attentive and available to orient us to the property upon arrival. The home had all of the amenities that we were looking for and REALLY enjoyed our time here. We really hope to return!

This place is incredible! Luxurious and spacious accommodations, scenic and private on a quiet section of the lake. Lots of wildlife.
The beach campfire was wonderful. We ate like royalty, and had plenty of room to cook and clean. Everyone had a blast, even the dogs!

Second visit, just as nice as the first. Don’t think we will be back as the walk to the dock to enjoy the lake is too steep for our aging group.

We loved our trip to Millie’s getaway! This was our first trip to lake of the ozarks so we were not familiar with the area. This home is about an hour from the touristy things for kids which was fine for us because we planned to spend most of the time at the house and on lake. We rented the pontoon boat and had fun on the lake. This side of the lake is quite and made tubing with the kids fun and a lot less stressful. We were bummed there is no canopy to provide shade for our parents. There was 4 families and we all fit very comfortably in the house. House stayed cool and the 2 kitchens was very useful during meal times. The water mat was so much fun for the kids!! They loved swimming around the dock and playing on the mat. The only other thing that would have been nice is TVs in the rooms. During family trips it’s sometimes nice to lay down and watch your own TV in the evening but overall no complaints we would love to stay again!

Beautiful property in a great location
My cousins and I as well as some family friends met up here for a reunion. The home is incredibly spacious. The kitchens & butler's pantry were stocked so amazingly well! Nancy was very helpful and always made sure we were seen to immediately.
There were a couple small disappointments that I think others should be aware of, but didn't diminish our stay, so I still gave it 5 stars. It shows the master suite with a king and 2 singles. The two singles are just mattresses, not beds so we did have to have some folks on mattresses on the ground & we put kids there so it wasn't a big deal. Also, we rented the boat that is available and when we got there found out we couldn't be out on the water after dusk because they had removed the lights. While I do understand (apparently people were getting lost on the lake at night or damaging the boat), we do know how to operate a boat and navigate and had planned on using the boat at night for fireworks and fishing.
Like I said, these things were pretty minor, but if you have specific plans for using the boat after dark or if you have adults that would be unhappy with a mattress on the floor for a bed they should just be known. Overall, still a great stay.

Amazing house and property!
What an amazing house! We have 7 kids, their spouses, and 9 grandkids and this house was perfect for us. So clean, large property, and right on the lake. Even better than the pictures! Thanks for an amazing week and we would definitely stay here again!

We have absolutely no complaints at all - only compliments. It was 11 of us and we had a Christian Retreat at the property (we are very particular - and found that everything was up to par and very clean). Not only that, the atmosphere is so inviting and warm. The pictures absolutely does it no justice - YOU MUST see it in person. I have probably planned over 500 events - this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had thus far dealing with management/hosts/etc. . Don’t look for another property, Millie’s Getaway is the perfect place to create memories- they’ve thought of everything. It’s spacious enough for everyone to not feel crowded, not to mention the gorgeous view. I literally did about 49 or more hours researching places - read all the reviews, looked at all the pics - Search no more - THIS IS THE ONE!!!

That was pretty gross so we removed it and used bottle water in the Keureg for our stay. The oven was apparently not cleaned previously so when we turned it on the house filled with smoke. We had to open the doors and air out the house even though it was hot/muggy outside. Overall, I would say this was a very nice home and a great location on the water.

We held a multi family get together for a weekend and had a blast! The rooms were great and there is a gorgeous and spacious living room where we could all hang out. We rented the pontoon boat and kayaks for a day for a reasonable price. Will come back again!

Only but is that the wifi is really slow and that the owner sent a msg after we rented the place that we were unable to use streaming services. You would think that with the big cost you are paying it would be included... or at least put it in the description

The grounds and home were very clean upon arrival. We brought our kayaks, paddle board and boat with! The boat launch was close and there was so much room on the propertie's dock! The location was perfect for us as there was not a lot of boat traffic on the lake. We were able to feel safe paddling across the lake to the cliffs. We would definitely come back! We stayed 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Property manager lived close and was super helpful!

Summer getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed the property. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had 4 families and had plenty of room. The property manager, Nancy, was very attentive checking in to see if we needed anything. The only issue we had was the dock needs to be maintained better. Specifically the boat slips did not have cleats & the jet ski dock was out of service Highly recommend otherwise and would return.
