About this house rental

This home was inspired by my vacation to Cozamel Mexico. Old world wood beams run thru the living, kitchen and dining area. Hand painted Mexican tiles adorn the kitchen backsplash and bath showers. This home has 3 full bedrooms with the 4th bedroom being a bunk room. Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom both have king size beds. Third bedroom has 2 queen beds and bunk room has 4 built in bunks with their own personal lights and electrical outlet. This property goes well with vrbo #514471, vrbo #675858, vrbo #773636 as they are all side by side on the same street. Great for families and friends needing to rent several houses but want to be close to each other.

This house was beautiful, the pictures honestly do it no justice! The only issues I had were the ants coming in after it rained and my kiddos got ant bites unfortunately! The house was pretty clean, the bunk beds were a little dusty but the mattresses and linens were clean my overall stay was enjoyable :)

This is the second house we’ve stayed at by Steve & Debbie and it did not disappoint! House was decorated beautifully and very clean. Comfortable beds within walking distance to beach what more could you ask for?!?!

My family & I have been visiting Crystal Beach for 50+ years. Here are some thoughts on Casa Dingle, survival in response to prior reviews: 1. Most cabins on the peninsula do not have TVs in each room. Or, at least the ones I can afford to rent! 2. All internet on the peninsula is spotty during holidays. It’s fine between 3a - 5a, lol, when most people are asleep. 3. I don’t think the owners spy on you via camera. If they noticed the front door was open, it’s because they drove by and noticed while checking on their other properties. 4. The mattresses were an upgrade from others I have slept on. 5. The kitchen has just about everything you need. 6. The owner immediately checked on a maintenance issue, then came back several hours later on a Saturday night to make sure his repair fixed the problem. 6. I agree there was a bit more noticeable sway, but not to a disturbing degree. 7. Most owners are a little more flexible with early check-in if the cabin is ready. But, it’s their house, so their rules. I could see where liability issues might arise if something breaks before the rental contract actually starts. Overall, wonderful place to stay and we had another week of awesome 4th memories!

Our time at this property was a great experience. The beds and rooms were cozy. House was nice, clean, and offered a lot of things we needed. The TV and WIFI were very spotty. I would recommend bringing your own knives for cooking. Other than that it was a great stay!

I was impressed when I saw this listing on VRBO, but it was beyond my expectations once I arrived! Being on third row, I wasn't really sure what kind of view we would have of the beach, but it wasn't really bad at all. We had a good angle of the beach from our deck. We are right on Stingaree Drive, so we were within walking distance of the beach as well. There was some traffic, but not as busy as I had expected for a holiday weekend. We were able to set our canopies up very close and walk back and forth to the house if we needed to. The house itself was very nice! We had a spacious deck and the area downstairs had swings so we spent some time down there as well. The bedrooms were very nice and spacious and beautifully decorated. Our daughter and grandkids loved the bunk room! I couldn't get many channels on the TV, but it wasn't an issue for us because we didn't watch much TV. The bathrooms were very nice, updated with a beach theme. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we would definitely rent this house again!

The house is very nice. Location was great. We loved being able to walk to the beach. The house is clean and updated. Very nice looking. The WiFi isn’t great but it wasn’t a huge deal for us. My only complaint is that the house sways quite a bit. I’ve never been in a house that sways so much. We’d be sitting on the couch or at the table and feel it move. Overall the house is very nice and we would definitely rent again.

The house is beautiful. Very comfortable and very clean. The 10 of us had plenty of room and did not feel like we were all on top of each other. Large carport area that we could enjoy during the rain. We had everything we needed. Close enough to walk to the beach and a short drive to The Big Store. We will stay again.

We enjoyed the rental for the most part. We were surprised to learn there was only 1 television in the house. We expected televisions in the bedrooms. Televisions in bedrooms is pretty standard. I texted the owner about the lack of televisions on the first day. I did not receive a response. Location was perfect for our trip.

This property is in a great location! It is no beachfront, however you can see the water from the deck. Everything was very clean, neat and well supplied. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for 12 guest. We were all very pleased with the overall stay. No complaints at all!

My family and I stayed the weekend for my little brother birthday. The pictures don't do this place justice! It is beautiful inside. It was comfortable and spacious enough for 12 people without being in each other way. The place was decorated tasteful. The kitchen was well stocked. I have never been to a place where anything you could image you needed was in that kitchen, down to a potato peeler! The host was great. They were a text away and answered promptly. Beds were comfortable, house was clean. There were many places on the balcony to sit. The house was just a few steps to the beach. The view of the beach from the house was great! My family and I spent most of the time on the porch. The beach has a lot of sea shells, which makes it hard to walk on the beach without shoes. Get you some beach shoes! You can drive on the beach as well. There were a lot of young people on the beach with pro Trump signs, and distasteful words on the flags about the current president. There is a time and a place for all that, but on the beach with kids and family is not the place for it. That left a bad vibe for me. There is only one TV in the whole house, and the WIFI is not great. If you have young kids, which we did they might get bored so bring some activities for them to do. Also bring your own food with you. We went to the grocery store on the island and we paid $111.00 for one meal. Most of the stuff on the island is super expensive. There are no fast food places for miles. They have a pizza place inside the store and some burger shack and that's all I saw. Please take my word and get your groceries before you get to the island! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Its worth it!

My family and I stayed 3 nights at Casa Dingle and enjoyed every minute of it. The home is beautifully designed and decorated and was clean upon arrival. We were a short walk/golf cart ride from the beach. My wife and I were able to have our morning coffee on the deck and look out over the gulf and watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine in the evening . We will definitely look to stay again. The WiFi is spotty but I was looking to get off the grid for few days so no complaints. Steve and Debbie were great hosts, very responsive and attentive. Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful experience. The owners responded quickly to questions prior to stay, and the house was clean and comfortably equipped. We were there for the weekend, but would have enjoyed a longer stay. We have rented several houses the past few years and Casa Dingle definitely exceeded what we have experienced before. Wonderful pantry space, clear directions for utilities, ample electric outlets in each room, clean and comfortable bedrooms, and beautiful decor. Schedule a bit of extra time for clean up at the end of your stay. This was the first trip where we were asked to empty dishwasher and sweep and mop floors before leaving. I suppose this requirement is part of what maintains the cleanliness of the house, but it does require effort before departure. We will definitely consider another Dingle rental. 5 stars. Thank you!
