About this apartment rental
Paradise awaits in this hidden gem west of U.S. 41 and only six minutes to several beautiful beaches. This updated, spacious condo is located in a welcoming community that has a park-like setting with miles of paved walking/biking trails. Appropriately called the Retreat, this guard-gated development offers a quiet location with lake views and lots of nicely landscaped green space between the buildings. Take the time to walk along the lake or pause at one of the many lakeside benches to enjoy the wildlife - ospreys, eagles, otters, native birds – even fishing.
This condo has two large bedrooms each with full en-suite bathrooms. The master has a king size bed and there is a queen size bed in the guest room. A hide-a-bed couch in the living room can accommodate two more. The kitchen has been recently updated with custom maple cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Step out the kitchen sliding patio doors to enjoy the private courtyard. This condo has new tile and paint throughout. Enjoy southern views across the lawn towards the sparkling blue lake from the living room, lanai and the master bedroom. The spacious guest bedroom has its own wide sliding doors which access a hidden, private garden patio with views of the lake. Since this is a first floor unit, there is no need to hassle with stairs. Step out the lanai door and take a short stroll along the lake path and across the foot bridge to the pool/spa area. A large, heated pool and whirlpool await, quietly situated away from the condo buildings. Enjoy lounging in the sun on the expansive pool deck or in the shade of the many large, beautiful trees. The pool pavilion provides plentiful table seating and comes equipped with a gas grill.
Looking for additional activities? Try out the community’s nicely manicured 18 hole executive golf course or one of the clay tennis courts. Extend your bike, walk or run by slipping out the conveniently located back gate onto the quiet Vanderbilt Drive and use the bike/pedestrian path that parallels the road. Heading north three miles will get you to Bonita Beach or Barefoot Beach and three miles to the south will have you at Delnor Wiggins State Park or Vanderbilt Beach. There you can choose other activities like kayaking, jet-skiing and para-sailing. One mile south of the back gate is the public Cocohatchee River Marina for boat lovers. Lover’s Key State Park and the south end of Fort Myers beach are about a fifteen minute car drive north.
For grocery shopping, head out the back gate just minutes to the north to a new Publix grocery store or go 10 minutes south for Walmart. Other nearby grocery stores include Whole Foods, Fresh Market or Trader Joe’s. There are many great restaurants along Bonita Beach Road or out the front gate along US 41. Nightlife abounds at nearby shopping venues like the Mercato, Coconut Point or Olde Naples. Consider a summer beach vacation, lounging in the warm gulf waters.

Retreat - the perfect location in Naples/Bonita Springs
We stayed during November 2018. The Condo was in perfect condition when we arrived. We really enjoyed the surroundings and also used the executive golf course a few times. The Retreat is also located perfectly for access to Bonita Beach and other beaches south In Naples. Access to public and semiprivate golf courses is also very good from the Retreat. All in all - we loved our stay and hope to return in the future.

Lovely Condo
My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo in October. It is spacious and comfortable, with everything you need for an amazing vacation. There is a very nice pool and spa. It's close to beaches and restaurants. We really enjoyed having a private garage. The owners are very easy to deal with and always quick with responses. Would visit again.

A lovely very comfortable condo.
My husband and I stayed at this lovely condo in The Retreat all April and part of May. The king size bed was very comfortable and everything we needed was catered for. We enjoyed barbecuing and having dinner in the lanai with a lovely view of the St Louise lake. We enjoy going on the beaches and all beach equipment is provided with the added provision of two kayaks if you are adventurous enough. Plus two bicycles. What more can you ask for.
We can strongly recommend this wonderful condo ideally situated in this lovely community and, hopefully, we will be back next year.

Amazing condo
Our family of 4 (2 adults, a 2-year-old boy and a 5-month-old baby) stayed one month at this condo and we absolutely loved it. The condo was very clean, spacious and well-furnished. We particularly appreciated the updated and modern kitchen and the good quality cookware, the thick towels and the very comfortable beds and linens. There is also a lot of storage space which is great with kids. We really felt like home. The lanai provides a beautiful view on the lake and it was our favorite place to chill in the morning while sipping our coffee. The surroundings are also beautifully appointed and the neighbours are nice and quiet. We also loved the pool which was very clean and quiet. The owners were very easy to deal with. We wish we could have met them because they seem to be very nice people. Upon our arrival, they left for us fresh fruits picked on the property and other goods. It is obvious that they care for people as much as they care for their property. We hope we could return one day.

Wonderful Winter Escape!!
We enjoyed vacationing here in February. Quiet location and surroundings. The home is clean and spacious. There is something for everyone in the area. The condo has two private bedrooms with comfortable beds with attached bathrooms. Each has a walk out patio area to sit. Spacious living room with TV and a beautiful view. A clean fully furnished updated kitchen. We had a wonderful time relaxing at the condo or the pool/hot tub area which is close and convenient to walk to. There are paved landscaped walking paths that connect several neighborhoods within the gated community. We went into downtown Naples for an art and auto show in addition to a farmers market. One evening was spent at a restaurant at a nearby ocean beach, that we drove to, where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Approximately, three driving blocks away is the Royal Scoop ice cream shop, excellent! We highly recommend staying here, we are sure to go back!

A Great Retreat!
My husband and I had an amazing time staying at the Retreat. The space was large and had well-appointed luxurious accommodations. Everything looked like it was newly re-modeled and decorated. Everything was very clean. It had everything we needed; towels, cooking supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, bikes, even a washer and dryer! We felt at home there very quickly. It was wonderful to enjoy meals on the lanai with beautiful views of the lakes and gardens. We would spend many afternoons basking in the sun at the comfortable pool area or walking the many lengths of trails that wind through the well-maintained grounds. The property was nice and quiet; perfect for a relaxing get-away!
We visited many beaches while we were there; all of which were just a few minutes drive away, or a leisurely bike ride away. It was also convenient to many attractions such as downtown Naples and there were great dining restaurants close as well.
I can't wait to return in the near future! It would be perfect for a vacation with more friends or family, since there is enough bedding and space that would be very comfortable with more people. I hope to bring friends or family with on our next visit so I can share this wonderful property with them.
