The best neighborhood in LBK
We stayed in "Longbeach Village" home for about 5 weeks and loved everyday.
Pros:
This is by far the best neighborhood in LBK.
Walkable to the best beach and the house includes beach chairs, beach towels.
Walkable to 3 great restaurants.
Peacocks roaming the neighborhood, awesome!
House is well equipped with washer/dryer; dishwasher; AC/Heat; TV in living room and master bedroom
Cons:
Linens, though abundant, could be upgraded.
Rated 4 for cleanliness - could use a spiffing up, esp. the lanai.
Overall, highly recommend!
Thanks Scott!! 😎

Good stay
Had a great stay. Excellent location, easy to get to Sarasota, Siesta Key, Bradenton, etc. The only real negative is that the sofa is not a sleeper sofa so it really doesn’t sleep 6. We had friends visit and when we tried to use it as a bed, you couldn’t. Thankfully we had a blowup mattress.

Excellent Deal
I only have good to say about this rental. It was definitely all it was listed to be. I am a cook, the kitchen is amazing; everything I needed.
The location was, as stated, about 4 blocks (5 minute walk) from what appeared to be a lovely neighborhood beach.
The house is well maintained. The neighborhood quiet and very friendly. The owner was easy to communicate with & very helpful.
We have dogs & there is even a "dog 30" in the neighborhood where dog owners, if they want, meet every evening for a nice play date.
It is a good location for beach, long walks; close to Sarasota & to Anna Marie Island for beach and shopping.
The Columbia at St' Armands Circle, Sarasota was one of my favorites, also a great place to shop, although many other good ones. Another outstanding restaurant, a little upscale, in Sarasota is "Victorias".
I highly recommend this property -as long as you don't want my dates because I'll definitely return.

Location, location, location
This cottage is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is about a 5 minute walk from perhaps the best beach on Longboat Key. Also in the neighborhood are a couple good restaurants--we especially liked MarVista Dockside Grill. The cottage has a great screened porch that we enjoyed during our month's stay, as did our cats! I'm not sure what has been "recently renovated" as the owner's description indicates, but the furnishings could use some updating. We enjoyed our stay on LBK & the cottage is in a wonderful location.

Wonderful find!
We were so pleased with this delightful cottage located in the old Longbeach Village. The cottage was accurately described and more than lived up to our expectations. The cottage has been well cared for and was comfortable for the two of us but also worked well when our daughter and adult granddaughter came to visit. The lanai, which is now more shaded and private than in the picture, was a nice surprise. Very spacious and filled with comfortable furniture. We spent warm days out there reading frequently. The kitchen works well and the bedrooms are nice size. The neighborhood is quiet but accessible to the many attractions in the area. You can reach a Publix or a drugstore in 10-12 minutes either to the north or south. The beautiful peacocks strolling up and down the street were a plus during our two month stay. Another plus are the owners who were very responsive and helpful both before and during our stay. We hated to leave to come back north!

Snowbirds plus pet
We enjoyed renting this cottage last January/February. Conveniently located and walking distance to the Bay, the Gulf beach, two very good restaurants and Longboat Key Center for the arts. Short driving distance to Sarasota attractions, St. Armand's Circle and Anna Maria Island. Neighborhood quiet and peaceful. A memorable vacation for us!
