ON-SITE PONTOON BOAT NOW AVAILABLE TO RENT:
This house is one of the only lake homes around Charlotte with a Pontoon Boat available to rent for the duration of your stay. The Boat is NOT included in the price of the home (owned by company we partner with). No more needing to pay $400/day to rent from the Marina only to stress out about getting it back before 4PM to avoid late fees. Boating should be a relaxing and fun experience --- Take the boat out when you want -- not when you are tethered to a reservation that may turn out to be a rainy day. This was the most common request from our renters so that's why we collaborated with a local Commercial Boat Rental company to give you the option to rent the boat at the end of our dock. The pontoon boat rental comes fully equipped with life jackets and access to all the Watersports equipment you need to have a fun and safe boating experience! (Watersports toys included in the shed: wakeboard, adult waterskis, tubes, 3-person towable couch, kneeboard, slalom ski, children’s training skis, and floating things like noodles or inflatable lounge chairs)
Just ask me in your inquiry if you are interested :) Prices seem to typically range from $1500-1900/week per the Summer and less in the Spring/Fall. The lake is huge -- full of beautiful houses, on the water restaurants with boat parking (Papa Docs!), and tons of cool Sand Bars and islands to hang out on -- EXPLORE IT!!
Guest Access:
Our guests have access to the entire property.

We just finished our second stay at this property and couldn't recommend it more highly. The beach, water toys, kayaks, paddleboards, outdoor seating and 5 bedroom/4 bathrooms really sets this apart from other rentals. Views are incredible from inside the house, situated on a quiet cove. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed for cooking large family meals. We brought our own boat and clothing and that's about it! Very close to big city amenities for a well rounded vacation and to meet the needs of all ages and stages of our group (21 months to 77 years.) We hope to be back next year for our 3rd summer. We've stayed in lake properties in the southeast over the last 10 years and this one aligns with our requirements the most, and has easily become our favorite.

Comfortable vacation home for the whole family. We were a group ranging in ages from 3 to 75 and we all had a fun stay. Lots of water toys and outdoor seating.

Great location. Beautiful house. Lots of fun. Just need to clean the hot tub, it had a smell to it and the water was a little muurky.

The place was lovely—beautiful views, remarkably well-kept and well-appointed property. I did warn the owners that the cleaning crew had not done a great job, but they were very responsive and I wouldn’t expect that to continue, so I gave 3 stars on cleanliness but an overall 5-star rating. My whole family loved it.
NOTE: You have to go downstairs for kitchen, living room, and back deck access. My grandma can’t do stairs so we brought her meals to the upstairs family room. So just be aware, the “downstairs” is accessed like a basement, and the “upstairs” is front-door-access level.

I am part of a TV crew that travels all year and rents VRBO properties all over the world. I mean, really, why would you stay in a hotel when, for less money, you can stay in this beautiful house on the water? We were here on business, but I'll be back for pleasure. Love this place!

Having a toddler and 3 1/2 year old we truly enjoyed having the beach. We did jump off the dock but the beach was best. We had minor issues that the property manager addressed quickly. Our friends and family found the home relaxing but close to activities and restaurants. Overall a nice experience on Lake Wylie.
We suggest a new table and chairs in the dining area and the oven is starting to look worn too. The air filter upstairs needs to be checked.

This home was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our lake getaway! Our 3 grade school boys had a blast swimming, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding! The beds were very comfortable, and the house had everything we needed for a great vacation! Also, while our kids are out of the baby/toddler stage, the house had everything you would need for a vaca with a little one: highchair, pack & play, baby gates, etc! The owners thought of everything!

Great location and the outdoor space is very nice. Lower level in house is a great community space. As in many VRBOs, the drawers, cabinets and closets were not as clean as at home. And some of the water 'toys' were not in great shape.
I personally had difficulty with VRBO communication
process, but could have been operator error and not VRBO.
The owner just hired a new cleaning crew and that may account for some of the cleanliness of the house.
But overall, a good place to hang out with family/friends.

We had 4 adult couples stay at the lake house and it there was plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed all the outdoor space as well!! The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was comfortable. We took advantage of having a pontoon boat delivered to the property and that was a bonus for our stay!

We had a wonderful family vacation - the best ever - in this comfortable, cozy home. The property is so convenient to local activities and necessities, but we really never had to leave the house to have fun. One day we went to the aquarium for a couple of hours, and, other than that, we were entertained and content to be at the property the whole week. The beach and all the floats and mat provided so much fun for the children and adults. Having the boat delivered to the dock was so convenient also. The property owner is quick to respond to questions and/or needs and wants to accommodate his guests as best as possible. We - six adults and six children, ages 3 months to 7 years - had a wonderful time and we would highly recommend this vacation home to everyone.

The LakeLyne team was great. Very responsive and helpful with recommendations. The house is comfortable and perfectly designed for three generations - virtually soundproof from one floor to the other. The house is comfortable and the kitchen well-appointed. The terraces, dock and beach area are fabulous and we spent most of our time there. Renting the pontoon boat for the week adds so much to the time on the lake as does all the toys - paddle boards, kayaks and canoe. We had a truly wonderful stay.

Fantastic house with an incredible backyard and beach
We had a group of ten including a couple young kids. Such a beautiful location on the lake. We spent all our time on the back patios and beach or in the lake. Caught some bluegill, bass, and catfish as well. If we go back to Lake Wylie, we’ll be booking this house again!

Could not have asked for more!
What a wonderful property. If you’re looking for a spacious home in a nestled community, this is the one for you. Everything was well appointed. The bedrooms were of great size and all had king size beds except for one. Each of the drawers and pantries in the kitchen were stocked with more things than you could imagine for your convenience. The outdoor amenities have to be one of the best attributes of this home, and that’s saying a lot. If you want to roast marshmallows, cook on the grill or sit by the lake with your family and drink coffee as the sun comes up there is everything at your disposal. Need a kayak, there for you. This is one of the first homes that comfortably fit a large family. We never felt like we were on top of each other and given the layout were able to separate and do separate activities without getting in each others way.

June Reunion
The property is exactly as advertised, with ample room for three couples. It is located on a large Lake Wylie cove that is quiet enough for swimming, paddle boarding, etc. but close enough to the main lake to enjoy boating. The overall property is well maintained with beautiful lake views. However, the best feature is the outdoor space, which exceeded our expectations.

Awesome Family Fun!
The perfect place for our family and kids friends. We had so much fun on the water and the house was great for hanging out. One of my favorite vacations.
The owner was fantastic to work with. Great experience. Would definitely go back.

Lake house of your dreams!
This is just an amazing property and one of the best we have stayed at. Our great experience started with the property company. Lynn was wonderful to work with for this last minute booking and through our stay when we had questions. Responsive, professional, helpful.
The house itself is wonderful. Very well maintained. It has 4 king sized beds! And a queen- all quite comfortable. 4 full bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked with quality pans….I actually took pictures of some to get for home as they worked like a dream. Neat little kitchen tools like a juicer was fun to use. Nice outdoor grill.
Location….this was the best feature. First the lake is huge with little coves that are quieter. Even on the weekend it did not feel crowded. Definitely rent the boat, jet skis if you want some speed. The house is well equipped with kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and life vests. What I liked was often lakehouses are secluded…and while at the house you definitely felt secluded, but just a few minutes away were all the amenities you could want. A lot of restaurant options. Close by was also the whitewater center which was quite fun for my teens.
Overall this was a great vacation and I highly recommend.

spring break 2022
railing on stairwell broken - back door outside handle broken - water running thru light fixture near dining table (resolved within a couple of hours - thank you) not enough towels for 11 people
Loved location - close to Carowinds, loved Lake, canoe and kayaks, kitchen was perfect as we cooked there daily, kids loved outside = kids also loved gaming chairs - and gaming tv -
adults loved 2 levels - 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms worked!
We have stayed in many rentals - and this was my favorite!

Gorgeous backyard!
The views and beautiful backyard were worth every penny! Lots of chairs available and a nice beach area for children to play! There was a tether ball on the beach and golf putting on the patio! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
In addition, I would like to compliment the management company staff as they were so responsive to our questions and needs. In fact we left an item at the house and Lynne personally went to the house to retrieve the item to mail to us! First class service! Thank you all for everything!

Great Family Getaway
The weather was lousy and limited our use of the beautiful outdoor areas, but the house was perfect for gathering family to celebrate my mother's 94th birthday. The house was clean and David quickly responded to a minor problem with the lock. There were lots of games and toys. Everyone had plenty of space to work and play. We would definitely recommend this lakefront home.

Perfect!
We had a total of 13...a 2 yr. old, 11 yr old, 4 older teenagers (18-20), 2 in their 20's, 2 parent couples and a grandfather (76). We ALL couldn't have enjoyed ourselves any more! Having the boat for the week was a highlight, although we did still rent jetski's one day and the older teens LOVED that! We sat outside on every level, enjoying the view of the lake and enjoying each other. Did some fishing off the dock (caught some very LARGE catfish!), played cornhole (that we brought) on the patio area, enjoyed the FIRE Table EVERY NIGHT!, the grill worked great, the 2 year old enjoyed the beach area, etc. The inside of the home was VERY comfortable including the beds. I was leary as I read a review that said the inside needed updating....we thought it was just FINE as is! The owners/management company communication couldn't have been any better! It was also very close to 2 Harris Teeters, Carowinds and Charlotte...which were visited and enjoyed during our stay. I would highly recommend this property!

The property was beautiful! Everything we needed and more was supplied. We rented the boat which totally made the vacation experience. The grandkids are begging to do it again next year! Thanks to Carol and Dave!

Perfect house and perfect location
We had a great time from beginning to end with our stay. The updates and improvements they have done are wonderful. Communication with the owners is quick and attentive. The area the house is in is perfect, from a beautiful sunrise every morning to catching fireflies at night, I couldn't ask for a more magical time. I would tell anyone looking for a place to stay on Lake Wylie to look no further and to hurry up and book your stay there, because you might find out that I already rented again!

Great cove location and outdoor spaces
This house has an excellent location and a great view on a large cove of Lake Wylie. While it was windy on the main lake, this house was sheltered and calm. The outside was recently renovated and is very nice. We loved hanging out on the multiple patios and beach. The house includes several stand up paddle boards, kayaks, a floating mat, life jackets, paddles and a variety of other water toys. They were in very good condition. I HIGHLY recommend renting the boat, which really made this experience complete. The inside of the house is overdue for an update. While it was all functional, it's showing its age and needs to be refreshed. It did have a new fridge and a new upstairs couch. We understand the interior update is being planned. The Dish TV and Internet worked great. Carol Coffey, the property manager, is fantastic! She was very responsive to my inquiries.
All in all, this is a great house and I recommend it. 5 stars for the outside; 5 stars for the property manager; 3 stars for the interior.

Perfect Vacation
This property was the perfect vacation house for our family of 19! From the large bedrooms with comfy beds and a place to put an air mattress, to the large dining room table perfect for dinner and games after, to the kitchen that had plenty of items to cook large meals, to the amazing beach and dock. We had two boats and two jet skis that we were able to keep docked up and walk out to jump on and enjoy the water. For those that wanted to be outside there was plenty of chairs and shade and a nice “beach” to lay in the sun. We loved the extra large float for laying in the sun on the water. Thank you for opening your home to us and the wonderful memories we made.

Mother's Day on Lake Wylie
Very beautiful property inside and out. Issues with unfinished
projects, somewhat unclean indoors, mouse in kitchen, broken ice-maker in fridge. These concerns currently being addressed, according to property manager. We feel satisfied with the
issues being tackled now. Should be good to go for future.

Very comfortable, spacious, clean home. Well stocked kitchen. Great outdoor space although hilly they have a great lower deck. We rented the wrapped pontoon boat from the owner and it was wonderful. Especially with cooler, cloudy days we could still use the boat. He was very responsive with a couple questions we had in regard to the boat heater and gas.We had a couple things that didn’t work, and the property manager immediately responded and replaced. Would be helpful to have closets a little more organized. Being there for 2 weeks, we used the space. From the driveway you enter on the 2nd floor that opens to a good size family room, also where the laundry and 4 bedrooms/3 baths are located. Kids played in that area - great space for toys. Downstairs the first floor BR was perfect for an older parent. Common bath for that floor. The living, dining and kitchen area was huge and very open. Very large table with extra chairs. We had 12 people aged 9 mos. - 88 yrs old. It is also pet friendly. Well stocked kitchen. Would have appreciated a cabinet along the wall where a skinny table was placed to put our non-refrigerated food. Highly recommend anytime of the year. Thanks for sharing your home!

We had two major issues with this posting: (1) the quality of the property for the price, and (2) communications with the host. First, despite paying what amounted to a very high price, the house had significant mold in at least one shower, slight grime in other showers and sinks, hair/other substances on at least one toilet, at least one dirty hand towel, crumpled blinds throughout the house, sagging furniture that did not look as though it had been cleaned (including a mattress with a significant depression in the middle), and some clutter downstairs. Outside of the house, the porches looked and felt their age, with some portions that sagged when stepped on, others that were somewhat uneven, and greenish mold that covered much of them; the kayaks, paddles, and sole paddle board had patches of dirt and mud, and had insects and other critters living inside of them. (We took pictures.) Given these issues, my son and daughter in law decided not to stay the night here. Had this property been much cheaper, we would not have minded as much. But the first class, five star nightly rate we paid (and the nice pictures included in the posting), did not meet our expectations in reality.Second, communication with the host was lacking. Three weeks before our trip a family member contracted COVID (we planned to have a four person Thanksgiving at the property while outside on the large back deck). Instead of cancelling our trip and asking for a refund, I asked if we could reschedule our dates for later next summer. The host declined to work with us in any manner. The host then ignored at least two additional communications, including one from VRBO. Since the host would not reschedule our dates, my son and daughter in law (who live in the area) attempted to use the house but declined to stay the night due to the issues above. The host ignored at least one email from them as well.Very disappointed!

This vacation home is absolutely incredible! The house is so spacious. We could easily all hang out as a family and then when we needed some quiet time we could go to our rooms for privacy and rest. Outside was beyond beautiful and fun for all ages! Our group consisted of 5 adults and 6 children 8 years old and under. We all totally enjoyed the kayaks and the wake board! Having the beach area made it absolutely perfect for us! While the adults were having fun out on the water they could easily keep an eye on the children safely having fun swimming, floating on their rafts and making sand castles. Also everyday the entire family had lots of fun fishing and taking boat rides on the beautiful lake. Not once did the children complain of being bored. Having all the beauty, fun and privacy right outside the back door was so very awesome!Working with Dave, the owner, was wonderful. He was so very nice and very attentive.Clearly we only have good things to say about our stay. We will happily come back. We highly recommend this place!

While the adults were having fun out on the water they could easily keep an eye on the children safely having fun swimming, floating on their rafts and making sand castles. Also everyday the entire family had lots of fun fishing and taking boat rides on the beautiful lake. Not once did the children complain of being bored. Having all the beauty, fun and privacy right outside the back door was so very awesome!
Working with Dave, the owner, was wonderful. He was so very nice and very attentive.
Clearly we only have good things to say about our stay. We will happily come back. We highly recommend this place!

First time ever, not one kid said I’m bored! They have everything from Paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing to boating. The deck was nice and provided shade when you needed a break from the sun. My only suggestion would be the outside of the house be swept clean of spider webs and bugs. I know it’s a lake house and that it comes with the territory but it would have made looking out the windows a bit more enjoyable. Would most definitely come back! Thank you for having us and promptly getting back to me with any questions I had.

Beautiful Place and Super Convenient Location
This property has everything you could want! Beautifully appointed. Amenities are outstanding! Having a walk-in beach is wonderful, especially when using the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard. Loved the shaded sitting area under the trees. All the conveniences of grocery stores, drug stores and restaurants are minutes away. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect family getaway!
Spent a week at the Prestige House and enjoyed every minute. From the shady lower deck, to the sandy lagoon and dock area, this property served all modes of relaxation. We mostly enjoyed the on property boat we chose to rent as well. David was the ultimate host, constantly available to us, with answers to our questions and solutions to the slightest concern. We would definitely visit this location again.
