Beautiful home with multiple bedrooms that easily accommodated our family of 13 adults and children. Pool table and hot tub were big hits. Close to North Shore Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Everyone had a very enjoyable time.

We loved the walking trail that we could access from the back yard. The pool table in the common area was great for our family and kept all of the kids and grown ups hanging out together.

Beautiful area, house is very roomy and was perfect for 9 Adults and 5 kids. Close to Kings Beach.
One of the neighbors will call in a noise complaint, no matter if you follow the rules. Other than that, it was a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home offered peace and relaxation while being in great proximity to Kings Beach which was the focus of our trip. We would definitely stay here again. The host was informative and checked in with me throughout our stay. Overall a great experience.

Perfect for multiple family getaway, so much room, great upstairs area with two of the bedrooms connected was great to put all of the kids.
Only complaint, needs a working coffee maker :-) other than that it was great. We stayed during a blizzard and the property manager was so great with communication. Highly recommend.

This woodsy-themed getaway home is tucked in the trees in a quiet neighborhood only a short drive to Kings Beach. There were 11 family members and everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. The kitchen was fully stocked and appliances worked well. The pool table was the indoor hit. Because of the area burn ban, there was a gas BBQ not charcoal which was fine with us. The Wi-Fi is spotty in this area but we just had to reboot. We brought along a Firestick for the evening wind-downs which were short because we were exhausted from all the water activities. This house was everything we all needed. We will be back in the future!

Very big place. Can fit a lot of people. No cellular, but WiFi was good. Beautiful neighborhood. Close to beach :)

Lovely home—pay attention to bear box
Beautiful home a short drive to Lake Tahoe. Master bedroom has shared bathroom with main floor, helpful for senior citizens and those with mobility issues. All other bedrooms are upstairs or downstairs. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels and bedding, laundry room quite helpful. We played boardgames late into the evening after children were in bed and there was plenty of table space— lots of fun and laughter. There are clear instructions for how to deter bears who frequent the area including using a bear box next to the driveway for all garbage. Our bear box appeared to not have been emptied on the one day per week (Friday) the city pickup occurs. We had some confusion with communication to try to get it emptied (Property manager said that likely the city came by but there were cars blocking access to the Bear box—clearly not our cars as we arrived late Friday evening). This would not be a dealbreaker for staying at this lovely home, it’s just an issue to be aware of— make sure you keep the driveway clear so the city truck can empty that bear box or you will need to cram all of your garbage for the week in with the previous renters‘ garbage, and it can only hold so much! Overall we really enjoyed our visit and I would stay here again for sure.

Great cabin, accommodating hosts, convenient location A+
Our extended family spent 3 nights at the cabin and loved it. There was enough room and bedrooms for 10 of us without feeling cramped. The beds were super comfortable and rooms laid out well. We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Between catching up on Netflix, playing cards, and hiking the neighborhood, we really didn't venture out. There are many trails walking distance to the house and the pine trees are fantastic.
The owner was very commutative and we had no issues during our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

We were taken back when walking into house as the pictures on the listing do not match what the house currently looks like, from interior to deck pictures. Furniture has been replaced with dated and worn pieces, pool table is still there but is very worn and about to collapse. Photo on the listing with outdoor furniture, deck and hot tub is not accurate...outdoor furniture has been replaced with plastic adirondack chairs and hot tub is downstairs. BBQ is tiny and there is an outdoor camera pointing directly at the hot tub.Agent/landord was overly communicative before our check in and seemed concerned about our treatment of the property. This was a first for me, unfortunately most of the conversation was regarding a broken window in the lower room that had not been replaced yet. Made for a couple of cold nights for a couple and their children. Upon check in we found the window sills were extremely dirty and completely filled with spiders and spider webs. We had to go around the house and clean most of this.Additionally:-Bunk beds need serious attention, not stable at all and have mold on mattress. Blankets also smelled like urine.-Grate outside of front door is damages and seemed dangerous, a welcome mat is covering this.-All knives are extremely blunt and a hazard to use. -Heating element on left side of stove is collapsed inside and not working properly. -Refrigerator freezes a lot of the items even when it was adjusted. -The garage does not lock. Cannot keep any valuable items in here such as bikes etc. -Rear deck has several boards that are loose and soft. -Entertainment system (TV and Dish) in living room needs serious attention and updating. Unfortunately this is first complaint I have made about a VRBO property after using the service worldwide. Pretty disappointing...but I feel that this property is way below par especially when taking into account what the nightly rate is.

Great vacation House!
One of the best property we’ve ever stayed at. House was clean and homey. Has all the things that you need for the stay. Neighborhood was quiet and neighbors were super friendly. Close to everything. I recommend this house for a big party like ours. If given the chance i would go back to this place during spring time.

Nice Tahoe home with lots of beds; spa not great
Clean, cozy home in nice neighborhood. Lots of beds for sleeping a big group. Comfy beds and nice linens. Kitchen/dining/living area was adequate for our family of six but might feel small for a larger group. Hot tub was disappointing - did not get very hot and was not enjoyable. No firewood for fireplace. It would have been nice to know we should bring that with us. Driveway is slightly sloped from street to garage, which could be an issue in bad winter weather.

Ski Weekend
The management was quite fast with email inquiries. Good communication. The beds are really comfortable and there was a great balance of common space and privacy in bedrooms. Be sure to bring firewood as the fireplace makes it cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and clean.

Could be better
Overall the house is enough for a couple families, and the place is beautiful. But, there were a couple of things that could’ve been better. Once we arrived the whole place smelled like someone smoked. Then one of the rooms with a roof top ceiling, did not have any heat going in what’s so ever. Then most of the windows in the living room and kitchen had no curtains and no blinders, we literally had no privacy. The house was nice, and so was the neighborhood, the owners communicated well with us. Just the couple things listed could’ve been improved, and fixed before we checked in.

We had easy access to property Adults and kids enjoyed sledding outside the house. They further enjoyed the pool table when they were inside . As a matter of fact, the arrangement of living room allowed for those in the kitchen dining area to engage with the pool table players All the bedrooms were able to be shut off for privacy. We all had a great time

This cabin is a cozy house with a lot of nature around. With a fire going and a board game with the adults; this place was an awesome spot for my large family. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and everyone had a fun time.

Great home in great location
Our family spent New Years in Sandy’s home and we had a wonderful experience. The location was awesome. We were a short drive away from Northstar and Squaw Valley. We were also a short drive from Tahoe City were there is a variety of restaurants to dine. Sandy’s home was perfect for our family group. Thank you!

Great property
This property was terrific, although significant dust did bother a few of us for breathing.
Location is great, with friendly neighbors. And ice scraping service came in very handy.

Great place for a big group!
This was our annual college roommate ( and now families) trip. We had six adults and 6 kids ages 8 to 13. There was plenty of room for everyone and great amenities for every age. The little girls loved the upstairs area and the older boys loved the backyard which is all open space. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfy. When we were at the house, we were mostly gathered around the kitchen island while cooking and baking and found the kitchen to have all our needs. We also loved spending time walking in the neighborhood which had many trails near the house. It was the perfect distance to town and the mountain. We’d definitely go back!

Nice location if you dont want to cook
I booked this property for a large group (10 people) and soon after arriving (on a saturday) realized that there was a problem with the oven. It turned on and then quickly turned off with a "Power Failure" message. We were not able to fix this ourselves, so contacted the owner by text and a phone call. We were informed that a propety manager would come by but this never happened. We made do, but a focus of the trip was cooking meals together and not having a functioning oven was a huge inconvenience.

Pictures are way nicer than actual home
I was in shock when I walked into this house. The pictures online are MUCH nicer than what the home looks like. If you're relatively tall, you'll have to physically bend over to walk in to two of the rooms without hitting your head. One of the rooms is only accessible by going through another room. Minimal ventilation so it feels muggy. The cleaners were still there when we arrived. They had no urgency to leave and the house still looked dirty. I reached out to the host and she offered to extend our check out time by an our as a courtesy...no thanks. I recommend staying elsewhere if you have the flexibility to do so.

nice place for a big family reunion
This is a nice property on a very quiet street. We had 17 on one night, but most of the week we had 15, ranging over 3 generations.
The kitchen was well furnished with all we needed to cook meals for everyone. There are a generous number of plates and cups, and the dishwasher worked well. The living room area was comfortable and the TV worked well. All in all, this was a nice experience.
One should note that this area is a cell-phone dead zone. For our group, the WiFi was not up to snuff; many folks were readily dropped from service inside the house or could not connect. The WiFi signal strength needs to be upgraded to support 15-17 users.
There were some complaints, particularly from the teenagers, about the comfort of the roll-a-beds. On the other hand, all the larger beds were quite comfortable.
