This was our second stay here after staying here 8 years ago. The communication with Robert and Kim was tremendous. They were great from the time we booked the house through the entire stay. The house is in a great location and we had no problem walking everywhere. The house is quite large and had plenty of room for our guests. It is a 200 year old house which makes it unique and fun. We will definitely look at this one again our next time coming to Savannah!
5.0 / 5.0
After years of taking the family on vacations this time of year, we have outgrown condos and this is our first time in a VRBO.
The place is huge. More than enough room for the little ones to play and the adults to have personal space to unwind. The dining room fit all 13 of us comfortably. Ease of check in and the response time of the owners was above and beyond what we expected. If there was a drawback, the kitchen was large enough for a couple to prepare dinner, but not to make it a family affair.
We never were able to get a spot out front, but the garage across the street was very affordable. So parking was never an issue, even five minutes from City Market and fifteen from River Street.
Kitchen was fully stocked with any tool we needed. And there were so many towels we never had to wash any (a rarity with a group of our size).
We don't normally return to vacation spots, but we would stay again if we did - and recommend it to others.

The place was great for a group of 8. We got the other apartment for more beds since we are all adults. Robert was extremely helpful. Great location and cool place. Would book again.

The house was great! Everything was wonderful and clean. We had some issues with the lower level AC which the homeowners were aware of after I contacted them. Second level shower was a slow drip but it worked fine for a quick rinse.
It was great to have coffee, soap, shampoo and other commodities available and already there!
Easy walkable distance to everywhere, or a quick Uber.

We had an awesome time at the property! The location of the house is at the prime spot for visiting all of Savanah; shops downtown, the River, Historic district and all the squares! The place is huge, even with the 15 of us in the house! The house has everything you need; it's another home away from home. Robert & Kim were so accommodating to my endless requests and they made our trip stress free that we could thoroughly enjoy Savannah's charm! Thank you so much to make this a memorable trip for my whole family!

Very close and convenient to so many spots in Savannah and plenty of parking nearby to leave your car all weekend! Plenty of space for a big group and awesome to all be in one spot!

Good communication with the hosts, more than enough beds for everyone staying. Location was perfect for everything near by to walk to which is ideal for larger groups.

Our family had a great time, even though 3 members were unable to attend with us. The house is beautiful and in a great location for new visitors to Savanna. We were close enough to the City Market area to walk to food and drink. The parking was right across the street and surprisingly affordable. The only comment we would offer is that the mattresses on the king bed and the queen bed were not good.

Owners were easy to communicate with, flexible with check in and check out and responded timely. The house is in the middle of all the tourist and historic sights. Seven of us flew in, took Uber to the house and needed no other transportation until we flew out four days later! The beds were comfortable, home well stocked for kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We cooked and had plenty of utensils, spices and serving dishes. We would gladly stay again!!

Right in the middle of everything
The place is beautiful. This is definitely a place for young and able bodied because there are 3 floors and the first floor is just the entrance. The rest of the house is on the second and third floor. The house is at a walking distance to almost everything. Our group was able to take 3 breaks through out the day, that is how close we were. The owner was easy to communicate with.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Accommodations
We enjoyed our stay in Savannah! This historic home was in a great location, within walking distance of River Street and other key attractions. Plenty of room for our group of 7 with a functional kitchen and living room that we used often.

Ordination Destination
The charm of this property contributes to an authentic experience in Savannah. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is current. The bathrooms are more than adequate. We had peace of mind when communicating with the owner as they are professional and responsive.

Great location!
The property is so close to downtown and river walk. We were able to walk everywhere and caught the trolley tour in less than a 3 minute walk.
The house is big and spacious and can accommodate a large group (we had 9) and one slept on the couch. There are A LOT of stairs. There is not a bedroom on the first floor, so everyone has to go up at least one flight - something that I should have asked prior to our stay, as my aunt is elderly and almost didn’t make it up the first flight to her bedroom.
Overall the stay was wonderful. We literally walked or took the trolley everywhere. The house was older, but very well maintained.

Perfect location
My family and I recently visited to celebrate St. Patrick's Day and my husband's birthday. We were all able to park our cars in nearby parking decks and we walked everywhere we wanted to go for the entire stay. The house does have a lot of stairs, as is typical for that type of property but it was very comfortable. I communicated with Kim about a few things, and she was very friendly and responsive. This was a great place to stay!

Early birthday celebration in Savannah!
This weekend was so much fun! The house was amazing and able to fit all of us comfortably and so close to all of the activities we wanted to do! Kim and Robert were so easy to communicate with and have a beautiful home with so much history in it! I couldn’t avast for a better weekend and an even better place to stay!

Great location but could use some updates
Overall you can’t beat the location of this property. It’s right in the middle of everything! The home is historic and has lots of charm. The bathrooms could have used a better cleaning prior to us staying, with some mildew in the showers. Also, don’t expect to cook an elaborate meal in the kitchen. The over doesn’t heat to nearly the temp it should. Honestly though, you’re not staying here for luxury, you’re staying here for location and to be out in the city. My family had a great time in Savannah and would recommend this place if you need an affordable, centrally located place for a large group.

Great space and location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was ample space to accommodate 12 adults. You also couldn’t get a better location- close to Forsyth park and that side of town and also city market, river street, etc. We walked everywhere! Definitely recommend.

Stay in a piece of history
Every time I come to Savannah, I typically stay at the hotel around the corner from this property. Coming with a few friends who had never been, I wanted to stay somewhere a little more historical. This house fit the bill. We walked into the home and immediately felt transported back in time. It is also a very large home, so the four of us felt like we had plenty of room to ourselves.
My favorite part of the home was the deck located off the third floor. It was the perfect location to enjoy the night and relax after walking around all day. We also found the living room to be extremely inviting and cozy.
The only negative - and I will not reflect that in my rating because this house is perfect in location and stay - is that since it is so close to City Market, etc (which is a GOOD thing!) - there were a ton of drunk people walking to the parking garage across the street, yelling outside the property into the early morning, and sirens/loud vehicles/motorcycles at all hours. This was just our experience though.

Right in the middle of things.
This was a great location for being able to walk to so many of the places we wanted to go to. Close to some great restaurants like Alligator Soul and the Telfair Museum restaurant which were delightful. The house is an experience with large rooms and a sense of history. Many thanks to our hosts.

Perfect Savannah Vacation Destination
Perfect location. Stayed here with 9 guests and had plenty of space. Parking was expensive but we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go other than the beach. Prime location for doing most anything in Savannah. Robert was a great host and communicated well. Would definitely stay here again.

We rented this historic home so the families of the bride and groom could stay in the same location. There was plenty of room to visit and share meals during our weekend stay. The location is ideal as a public parking garage is directly across the street. We all enjoyed our time there.

Bachelorette Weekend
We had a party of 13 woman. The house with apartment had more than enough space for everyone. The house was stocked so there were plenty of towels, supplies, and a coffee pot (essential). The only issue was the AC. The unit was set to heat and locked but the owner responded quickly to unlock it. Also, you couldn’t drop it below 73 (which I understand) but the third floor was cold at 73 and the first and 2nd floors did not get cool. Overall we had a great weekend and would definitely chose again for a large group. Just be prepared for all the steps!

Amazing home in 5+ star location
This was everything we thought it would be...and more. We were all able to check in early and it gave us time to explore throughout the three amazing floors. The kitchen on the 2nd floor was spacious and accommodated our needs. There were 7 of us adult women on this trip and we all had plenty of rooms, enough bathroom capacity, and space. The added bonus was that this historical home was in a fantastic location. We never used our car...we walked everywhere to restaurants and tours and such. The squares there are beautiful and this house is right at the start of that District. I highly recommend it!
