The cabin is set up very well. The kitchen is well stocked and everything works very well. The decor is tasteful and the rooms are very comfortable. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our group of five’s trip to Yellowstone. Truly a warm and memorable experience!

Perfect for a couple and 2-3 kids, cabin had everything we needed and then some. A minute walk to the lodge which offers excellent Prime Rib and other fare. Full bar. Grocery Store about 2 miles away had more than you would think as Island Park is a little isolated. Great hot tub, quiet and serene.

We've rented many homes for our vacations over the years. We dont care about the age or style, just mainly location and cleanliness.
This home was perfect! Even though we didnt spend much time at the cabin, it was a comfortable retreat for our family at the end of our packed busy days. The home was very clean and well cared for. It had everything we needed. Our family of 7 fit well. My 3 single kids upstairs in the loft and my married daughter with her husband had their own privacy in one of the two main level bedrooms.
The location was beautiful. Even though there were many cabins nestled in the pines in this area, you really felt the seclusion. We really enjoyed the hot tub, which was very clean as well.
The only concern was the VRBO wensite we used to book said checkout was at 12 noon but our rental contract said 10am. I clarified this with our contact person and we did need to be out by 10. Most places we've rented have checkout of 11am or noon, so this was a little early. They did say they'll get that corrected on VRBO.
Other than that, no issues and we had an enjoyable vacation. I would definitely recommend this cabin to family and friends. I would stay here again as well.

Beautiful 2 bedroom cabin with loft roomy enough for several more. They don't come much nicer. The cabin was clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It is close (25 min) to Yellowstone's West Entrance, and an easy drive to the Tetons. There are also many other great places to explore nearby in Idaho. Groceries and other necessities are very close. And there are numerous restaurants in the West Yellowstone area. Thanks, Lynn. We hope to return soon.

Booked this place for me and my friends to celebrate one of them getting married. It was a gorgeous place and we greatly enjoyed all of the amenities, especially the jacuzzi which we used every night, we will definitely be booking this place for trips in the future!

We had a wonderful time staying at the cabin in Island Park. The cabin provided a great base camp for our adventures to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. There was plenty of space for 8 people (4 adults, 4 children). The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and fairly close to the local grocery store. Lynn did a great job of communicating with us. Parking was a little tight for 2 larger vehicles and the other cabins are close by, but neither of those things were an issue. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Cabin was cozy, a 20 minute drive to Yellowstone, and everything was as it said in description. The only hiccup was that the cleaning crew had forgot the cabin, and we arrived to an unclean cabin with no clean linen. We reached out to Lynn who answered right away and got the cleaning crew out within 45 minutes. He was very responsive, corrected the problem, and reimbursed the cleaning fee.
Overall, it was a very comfortable place to come back to after long days of hiking. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

The cabin was clean comfortable and spacious. Lynn was on hand for any of our needs and really went above and beyond. The hot tub was amazing and the location was great. In was tucked back in the woods but just off the main road to West Yellowstone. It's the perfect place to come home to after long days of hiking and horseback riding.

We stayed here for 4 nights while we visited Yellowstone. It was about a 35 min drive to the entrance everyday but it was a beautiful drive especially the one night on way back about sunset time. We had moose right outside 2 of the nights around dusk while sitting on deck. We stopped at store to by groceries before we checked in but there are alot of great things already in cabin such as spices, coffee filters people have left and ziploc bags etc. It was a little bit of a drive but so worth it.

Great cabin!
We really enjoyed this cabin. It was spacious & clean & good location. The kitchen was fully equipped & has plenty of kitchen ware. Beds are comfy. In the summer we slept w windows open & it was nice a cool. I would recommend going to the cabin before stopping at the store. The cabin has a lot of non perishable food items already & small grocery store down the way has surprisingly a lot. Also, when we arrived the cabin had 2 cans of bear spare in the kitchen drawer. Now it has 3! That stuff is expensive so maybe wait to buy it and make sure the cabin doesn’t already have some.
Hot tub is nice too & all the streaming services on the tv if you choose to watch something.
Just a heads up. The drive is narrow & surrounded by small trees! I would recommend backing out of it, not trying to turn all the way around it, can easily add a dent to your car door 😬😬.

Comfortable cabin
Clean comfortable cabin , well outfitted, comfortable beds. Communication with Lynn was excellent when we wanted to check in early, and also when repair needed to be done. Very quick and efficient. Great location between Island Park and YNP. It is in a development and homes are a bit close together- you can hear neighbors enjoying their hot tubs and outdoor dining - but we were out most of the time so it didn’t impact us too .

Wonderful cabin
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The decor was great and the home was comfortable for our family of 8. The hot tub was a big hit with the young adults in the group. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Yellowstone and Henry's Lake.

Beautiful spacious cabin!
We enjoyed using this cabin as our “home base” while exploring Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The location was great and the house was stocked with everything we needed. It is in close proximity to some other cabins, but this didn’t bother us a bit. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous cabin!

Christmas 2021
This was my wife and I's fourth visit to Island Park and each time we experience something new and unique that makes our stay there more memorable. I have to say I was a little skeptical at first about staying in the Pines "Resort" community, typically we prefer a more isolated location, however, Bruce and Lynn's cabin and location was perfect for this trip.
Bruce is a great host, the cabin is clean, cozy & fully equipped with everything you'd need for an extended stay. The roads and driveways are well maintained, I believe we had approximately 4 1/2ft of snow fall while we were there and never had an issue getting in and out of the Pines.
We rented snowmobiles from "High Mountain Adventures" and with easy access to the local trail's the cabin was a perfect fit..

Visit to Yellowstone
My husband and I were looking for a place to call “home” after enjoying the day at Yellowstone. This property worked out great for us. Although we only used the downstairs, the open concept upstairs would be great for kids. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings throughout the cabin made it feel very cozy. Although we didn’t use the hot tub, we saw the service person checking the chemicals in it so we would have felt comfortable using it had we decided to take the plunge. The only issue we had was a smoke detector that started beeping due to a dead battery. Fortunately it was during the day and a spare battery was in the kitchen drawer so it was an easy fix. The drive to Yellowstone wasn’t too long and gave us a chance to look for more wildlife and strategize the day’s activities. Would definitely rent again if we ever come back to visit Yellowstone.

Cozy cabin
We utilized this cabin for a ladies weekend away. We brought all of our own food and made very good use of the kitchen! The hot tub was perfect. Wifi was somewhat unpredictable and slow. Overall this was exactly what we all needed and wanted.

Nice log Cabin but one problem
The cabin itself was nicely built and has plenty of space with 4 queen beds. Our children enjoyed the loft and we loved the hot tube. It was supplied with almost everything you will need except there were not any kitchen linens to wash dishes. The cabin was a little hard to find as all the other cabins look the same and there was no clear map.
Our big problem was the cabin had mice! We discover our food had been eaten on two different occasions and we had to store our food in coolers and seal tight containers. We could hear the mice at night and than my wife saw one twice while using the restroom. When we asked management about it they simple dismissed our concerns by saying they only have occasional issues and it is to be expected since the cabin is in the woods. Unfortunately this was not a small problem in our eyes and put a big black mark over our stay.

Super clean, well stock, cute place
Comfortable beds, super clean, hot tub was great, well stock with towels, etc, We had a girls trip with 4 girls and we all had our own bed which was very comfortable. Even had a grill, but we did not use. We all talked and said we would love to come back to this place.

Wonderful Cabin!
My family and I stayed in this cabin in June 2021. It was absolutely perfect! We have 3 daughters under 10 and they all loved the hot tub and cabin. A female moose walked right in front of the cabin on our first night! We all really enjoyed playing the card games that are kept there. The cabin was very clean with lots of kitchen amenities that were great to have. We loved the woodsy cabin decor! The West Yellowstone entrance is located 30 minutes north, so that was good! I would recommend this beautiful cabin in the woods to anyone!

Sweet Cabin
The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and very cozy. Lots of room to enjoy a family vacation. Just two of us and it was more room than we needed but well worth it. From the photos, it appeared to be secluded but upon arrival, there were at least six other cabins in a cluster. We were able to hear conversations and kids playing while we sat on the deck. Very friendly neighbors. Perfect distance from Yellowstone. Definitely would recommend it to friends for future visits.

Beautiful log cabin easy accessible to West Yellowstone
We had a packed agenda to see as much of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons as possible. Our stay in the log cabin made it so memorable and unique for us! The cabin came with everything we needed for the stay and more.
We enjoyed the bbq gas grill and the appliances inside. We took my parents, my brother and SIL and our 2 kids. The upstairs loft was perfect for our family of 4 and bedrooms and bath were great for the others.
Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and my parents loved the Yellowstone feel of the cabin. The decorations were perfect. Would stay again if we come back out! Thanks again

Dream cabin in the woods ❤️
This is an amazing place! Great for couples or groups of up to 8 people. Delightfully decorated, rustic yet elegant. Extraordinarily clean and well maintained. Very cozy, a true log cabin with many amenities. Location was perfect. 30 minutes from Yellowstone Park, and near by many restaurants and other amenities. 2 minutes away from convenience store and gas. Secluded, yet safely nested in the woods with other close by cabins. Can’t wait to go back and stay there again!
