Wir haben dort 2 Nächte übernachtet. Schöne ruhige Lage. Sehr netter, hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Das Haus urig, aber sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Frühstück (Selbstbedienung) war sehr lecker und toll in kl. Gläschen präsentiert. Es stand immer kostenlos Wasser, Kaffee, Tee und Obst bereit...

Alpenblick und Erholung pur garantiert

Schönes, kleines Gasthaus. unser Zimmer mit Südbalkon und toller Aussicht Richtung Alpen mitten in Oberstdorf hat uns sehr gut gefallen! sehr persönliche Betreuung und Verpflegung mittels Getränkekühlschrank für zwischendurch.

Ein herziges kleines Haus. Liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sensationell. Alles in kleinen Weck Gläschen hergerichtet.

Nur im Notfall

Das Zimmer war extrem klein. (2,50x3m), minimalistisch eingerichtet, Bad alt und teilweise verschimmelt. Wir hatten das Zimmer im Eingangsbereich, es war extrem hellhörig auch wegen der einfachen Holztüre.Es gab keine Gardinen, entweder man hat den Vorhang zugezogen , dann war es zu dunkel oder man stand in freier Sicht ( auch im Bad) . Das Zimmer war zudem sehr kalt. Das Frühstück war ok. Insgesamt für 130 Euro kein Preis / Leistungsverhältnis .

Sehr urig. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Ganz toller Frühstücksraum. Alles Sehr unkompliziert. In 12 bis 15 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Schöne Lage. Haus und Umgebung sehr ruhig. Komme gerne wieder.

War alles zur vollsten Zufriedenheit.

Cozy bed and breakfast in a wonderful setting.

We had a great stay. The owner is friendly and welcoming, breakfast was tasty and the room is comfortable. The property is in a nice setting with views of the nearby mountains. Would definitely come again.

Tolle Lage. Preis-Leistung eher nicht zufriedenstellend. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Schöner Blick auf die Berge. Sehr ruhig. Lieber Haushund 😊

Frühstück war so mittelmäßig. Die Brötchen waren trocken und fürs Allgäu viel zu wenig Käseauswahl. Käse und Wurst war jeden Tag das Gleiche. Frühstück musste selber abgeräumt werden. Für den Preis eher nicht ok. Der Frühstücks Raum hätte lieber mehr richtige Esstische und Stühle haben sollen. Auf dem Sofa zu frühstücken eher ungewohnt. Schimmel am Dachfenster.

Für die vielen Möglichkeiten in und um Oberstdorf waren 6 Tage eigentlich zu kurz.

ausgesprochen freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, die Lage ist hervorragend, Frühstück war sehr gut, alle Wünsche wurden prompt erfüllt.

all in all, very friendly people/staff, great location, very nice place/house

the breakfast was very nice, lots of variety to choose from. very friendly staff in the kitchen in the morning, to help with our breakfast , making a perfect boiled egg for us very cute glass jars and carry trays

The feather duvets are nice , but too hot in the summer, makes for a sweaty and sweltering night A small fridge in the bedrooms would be great, cause it was warm and we had cheese and meat and beers to keep cold and it was hard to keep it fresh

Family Stay Vibes, great breakfast, free parking, great location

I got the most 'family vibes' from this hotel. The host was very friendly and it feels more like a home than a hotel. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of fresh options to choose from and has indoor and outdoor seating areas. The city center was within walking distance and we spent several hours exploring and eating before arriving back. Parking was free in a lot down the way.

It's a very old building so every stair, step, door, and window creaks. It's to be expected, but I feel like everyone in the entire house can hear my footsteps.

A wonderfully clean, kind, and cozy stay!

The owner and his wife are incredibly kind and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay smooth and try to help in any way they can. His English is limited, so he may ask his wife to help translate at times, but the language barrier wasn't too bad. The house is super clean, and they ask you take your shoes off at the door to keep the house clean. Our room had an attached full bathroom on the third floor, but there was also an additional water closet on the floor. Breakfast was included in the price. Breads, fruits, sausages, cheeses and soft boiled eggs are available. Juice, tee, and coffee are also included. The fridge on the main floor has pitchers of water free of charge you can take up to your room, and large beers can be taken at your leisure for 2/3 dollars each. You simply write your name and the number of beers your purchased on the board and then pay at check-out. The mail floor also has a sitting room with several seating areas to eat breakfast or convene with those you are traveling with. The hotel/house is a ten minute walk from the town center so noise levels are minimal, but the distance is convenient enough that you don't need to drive. There are mountain views from all angles and there is on-sight parking. The number of "spaces" is limited though. There is also free wifi. I highly recommend a stay here!

Highly recommended!

Extremely helpful staff (in spite of the language barrier) - thank you very much, Martin! An exceptional wooden facility (with characteristic odor!) that reminded us of our country house long ago. Outdoor sitting places with nice sheepskin covers. Excellent self-service buffet, reasonable vegan choice. Free hot water (kettle) 24 hours. A lovely Labrador dog that does not enter rooms (I have a strong allergy to pets but felt nothing).

The emails I received were in German, and I got no answer to my further inquiries. Ultimately everything went smooth, but this lack of communication caused me to be somewhat anxious on the day of arrival. The placing of power sockets in the room was not very comfortable.

Beautiful place near the centre of Oberstdorf

Very nice guest house a few minutes walk to all Oberstdorf attractions. The owners are super friendly and provide all information about local activities. The breakfast is also very good, enough until the evening meal.

The owner Klaus and his colleagues are very warm and friendly. The house is lovely. I was extremely impressed! There is good attention to detail and the house is very comfortable. Highly recommended.
