This property has a stunning view of the town and the Pacific both inside and out. The pool offers hours of fun and relaxation. Don't plan a lot of extracurricular activities, because you will not want to leave this oasis of tranquility. Very large, clean and comfortable home. I highly recommend it.

My adult kids and myself had an amazing week at Casa Blanca. The view is probably the best I've ever seen. We even saw whales from our balcony. We loved the pool and the short distance to the beach and into town. We cooked breakfast and a few dinners in the villa and enjoyed walking into town for dinner the rest of the evenings. Polly and David were both excellent hosts. I would highly recommend Casa Blanca.

The house was very spacious and the views were spectacular. For our family of 4 it was more than enough. The golf cart is nice to have making getting into town and the beach easier. Our host were great and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, spacious Mexican villa. Our favorite thing was the commanding vistas of the coastline, town and surrounding jungle hillsides from the pool deck.
The home was beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house has two wings and tons of outside space, so it felt very roomy for 4 adults, but would easily accommodate more. It was fun having 2 restaurants within close proximity- one the beach- with great food and live music in the early evenings. Polly and Dave were outstanding hosts- always available if needed- and we loved getting to know them.
We’re already looking forward to our return next year!

Outstanding view, but we wouldn’t recommend this property without significant upgrades for comfort and especially for safety.

Casa Blanca has the best views in town! Beaches and town are a short golf cart ride! Polly was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and excursions. The pool is amazing!
Gave a 4 for accuracy of listing. The house does not have AC. It was very warm the first day/night but once the windows were all opened there was a nice breeze. Extra fans in bedrooms would be beneficial at night.
Thanks for the memories hopefully, we will return one day!

We had an amazing stay at La Casa Blanca! Polly was a fantastic host and we liked having her in the casita on the back of the property. The pool overlooking the sea was were we spent our time! We had chef doris come in and cook two amazing dinners for us. You can ind her at chefdorisrivera. Sayulita and San Pancho are an easy drive and fun to explore. Thank you for hosting us and we will definitely be back!

Our group of two families of four (including 4 teenagers) really enjoyed our week-long stay at Casa Blanca. Polly was so helpful and available to answer questions and gave good recommendations for restaurants and activities. The pool, hot tub, and panoramic views of town, the beach, ocean and sunsets from the house are the best part! We also enjoyed exploring Lo de Marcos, especially the beach, which was so much less busy than nearby San Pancho and Sayulita. Thank you Polly and David for your hospitality in making our stay at Casa Blanca so comfortable!

We could not have loved our stay more at Casa Blanca. We did not want to leave. The house is perched up on a beautiful hill with amazing views of the ocean and surrounding hills and only a short distance to the beach and town. The pool and hot tub are amazing and is where we spent all of our time. There was so much useable outdoor space that we barely spent anytime inside. The house is spacious and has everything you would need. Great kitchen for cooking, plenty of everything. Good water pressure and temperatures throughout. Fans and screens everywhere so air moves through the house nicely. Polly and David were so helpful and kind and gave us lots of great tips for our stay. Lo de Marcos is a hidden gem with few Americans and lots to love. Great restaurants, uncrowded beaches, safe and easy to navigate. We are already planning our trip back. Shhhh, don’t tell anyone else about this amazing location so it retains its charm and authenticity!

We loved our stay at Casa Blanca. We needed a reset after a stressful couple of months and we got it here. We were away from it all, but rented a golf cart to get everywhere we needed to go.

Casa Blanca is the best
Shhhhh, don't tell everyone about the best house in the best little Mexican town! The house is perfect. The pool and views are next level. The wall to town is quick, amazing beach, fantastic restaurants. We're coming back because of the giant iguana, the birds, the views, the hosts' hospitality and the memories we made. Loved every minute. You will too!

Amazing Views
This property has the most amazing views. The pool and hot tub was where I spent most of my time and I loved falling asleep to sound of the ocean. The hosts were so nice and the house has everything you need. It was just me staying there but this house is amazing for large groups. I highly recommend staying here.

The Star of Lo De Marcos!!
This villa is definitely a 5-star property, along with the owners David and Polly, who are also 5-star! We rented this 3 bedroom villa in Lo De Marcos for two weeks and couldn’t be happier. The villa itself has an outstanding view of the Pacific, and is superbly equipped. The kitchen was fully outfitted for all our needs and had a complete supply of pots, pans, utensils, and other accessories. From the pool table (love the pool table) to the round bar, the satellite and smart TV, beach towels, folding chairs, and boogie boards, anything you could need to enjoy some relaxation time was there. The star though was the wrap around deck with pool and hot tub that overlooked the Pacific- unbeatable! Many days we didn’t even leave the property, just lounged around the deck and pool enjoying the gorgeous view. Even seen whales cavorting in the ocean from the deck using the binoculars that they provided. If we did want to go down to the beach, it was a short 8-10 min walk, where there were four beach restaurants all clustered together- with Tomatino’s being our favourite! Great beach to walk and swim as well.
David and Polly were exceptional hosts. They live in a small casita at the rear of the property and ensured that we had everything we needed, offered to assist us with any arrangements required and ensured everything at the casa was running smooth. They’re very friendly and it was always nice when they dropped by to ask how things were. We usually needed up having some great conversations.
Would definitely go back to Casa Blanca!

Beautiful property in a beautiful area
Perfect place if you are looking to get away from the bustle of the more touristy coastal towns. Wonderful view over the ocean in a small town that is big enough to have the items you need, but small enough that you don't feel crowded.

Stunning property
We felt like kings and queens up on the hill. The view from the infinity pool is unreal and we spent lots of time reviewing the view! Casa Blanca has the best location in the whole town. We look forward to returning

Beautiful View every Day
Love waking up to the beautiful view with bird singing. My daughter and Dad playing pool at sunset with a view sun setting over the hill. And in the middle of the day enjoying the solar pool with my girls. Lovely home to enjoy with family.

Thanksgiving in paradise
Our family (mother, daughter, son in law and grandson) had originally booked Casa Blanca for last March, just when everything shut down due to the pandemic. We re-booked for Thanksgiving week thinking (foolishly) that Covid19 would be a thing of the past by November . As the date approached we were nervous about traveling but decided to go for it. And we are so happy that we did. The airlines were clean and implementing safety protocols. We rented a car in Puerto Vallarta, did our shopping in Bucerios, and spent most of our vacation enjoying the beautiful house, the infinity pool, the hot tub, the pool table, the breathtaking views, and the lovely beach which we mostly had to ourselves. Our hostess, Polly, saw to our every need and even arranged for a delicious take-out Thanksgiving feast prepared by a local chef. We appreciated that all the shopkeepers and restaurant wait staff in Lo de Marcos wore masks and socially distanced. We always felt safe. This was a vacation we'll always remember warmly.
Thanks to Polly and David for their hospitality.

10 Days of Bliss
Believe it or not, Casa Blanca is even better than the pictures! The entire experience was a wonderful break from today’s grim reality. Polly & Dave could not have been more helpful - answering all questions before our arrival promptly, and checking in daily to make sure we had everything we needed. The house is lovely. The 3 bedrooms are split into 2 different wings allowing privacy, and all have access onto the deck. The kitchen has everything you need and lots of counter space. The built in safe was fabulous - allowing us to leave passports, credit cards etc home, knowing they were well protected. Saving the best for last...the deck & pool! Both are wonderful. The deck is huge with many view points and options for sun & shade. We ate all the meals we had at the house outside. The mosquitos were a bit annoying but Casa Blanca even provides bug spray! The infinity pool is both stunningly beautiful and lovely to swim in. We used the hot tub almost everyday. It was perfect timing, slotted in between a last dip and dinner plans. Lo de Marcos is not touristy, but a lovely authentic Mexican town. If you are looking for glitzy restaurants and bars, this isn’t your place, but the food was both tasty & affordable with lots of options. It’s also just 10-15 minutes away from several towns - all of which are fun to explore.
We had a fabulous time. Can’t thank Polly & Dave enough. Certainly hope to be back there soon!!

Lo De Marcos view!
We spent 4 nights in Casa Blanca in February.
What. A. Place!
The house sits on a hill overlooking the south part of town, just a short walk down to some cute beach restaurants, one of which has music a few nights a week.
Everything was as it should be. The pool was fantastic and we also played on the pool table several times.
The driveway is steep, so if you’re unable to walk up the slope, consider renting a golf cart or using you car if you have one. However, all of our group of 59-69 year olds enjoyed the short walk to the beach and into town.
We arranged a fishing trip from the beach and, while we didn’t catch any (which I think is rare), we saw both dolphins and whales which made the excursion worthwhile.
It was difficult each day to decide if we wanted to stay at the house and enjoy it and its view, or to go enjoy the beach and town. We did both :)

Best view in town
This is most definitely the best view in town that you can enjoy throughout the house! We also found the house to be well suited for our 2.5 yr old.

10 stars - If we could!
One week at Casa Blanca was not enough time to enjoy this amazing property. The house and pool has an "ah-h" factor that at once calms, and thrills you. The architecture of the home is spectacular. We marveled at it throughout our stay. Polly and David, your kind attention to our comfort was more than appreciated. We felt looked after, without feeling any intrusion on your part. Hats off to both of you. The work you've done (and plan to do) is phenomenal. As for Lo de Marcos? It fit everyone's desire to have fun without having a heavy tourist vibe. We were thoroughly charmed with everything. This is the best place we've ever stayed. It is magical, spacious, and welcoming. Our applause is yours.

Walk in and just say Wow!
The place is even better than the pictures! Spacious and welcoming.. stocked with everything. Comfortable furnishings, soft towels, great hot tub at sunset. The deck and view are perfect for watching whales, boats and surfers. And the care and attention by our hosts could not have been better. A quick walk to the beach and Tomatino’s beach bar ( the only place we found that took a credit card). Used the ATM at the plaza for pesos, found an organic store for fresh washed greens, cheese, and kombucha. The walk to Playa Los Vendanos is cool and pleasant in the morning. We arrived by taxi so a golf cart is needed if you don’t have a car. I didn’t know I should have reserved ahead of time as places were sold out, but Polly helped arrange a personal one for us. ( Guapo or L &M if you want to reserve).
In short, we loved everything, felt very safe and grateful for choosing Casa Blanca and seeing De Lo Marcos. We stayed in Sayulita the week before that was fun but noisy and hectic. This beach was so relaxing with just a couple of pleasant beach vendors. Lots of good waves while we were here for beach boarding, stand up paddling and surfing— better than Sayulita. Again, muchas gracias, Polly and Dave!

Great vacation!
This is a beautiful property with jungle and coastal views. The description is accurate and the managers/owners are very attentive and helpful. We loved the beach, town, restaurants, everything is so close. We did rent a car from the airport plus had a golf cart which I highly recommend for running to the grocery store or beach. The people in Lo De Marcos are very friendly and we always felt safe. Great food and music as well at restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked plus paper towels, toilet paper are provided. Beach towels, chairs and cooler were also included with the rental. We recommend this beautiful rental and had a wonderful family vacation for a party of six with ample room. Pool table was super fun at night as well. Only regret was leaving.

The big house on the hill.
The location was good, the views spectacular and access to town easy because we rented a golfcart. The property is in need of some TLC , security lights repaired. The gate is never locked and there is easy access to the pool , deçk and bedroom areas. Would of been nice if these areas where gated for better security .There is no air conditioning and the place gets humid and hot quick if the windows are kepted closed. The fans work great. Nice that there are so many windows that are screened , to let the night breeze in .but found out the hard way that some windows and all the screens do not lock. The hot tub was a nice touch but at the wrong time of day and only runs for an hour from 5 to 6 pm, never thought about asking to change the time ...the beaches here are wonderful you can hear the waves from the bed!

Loved our stay at Casa Blanca
From the minute we arrived we were absolutely amazed by the view...It was even better than the pictures on Vrbo. Polly was so helpful with everything; she called to check with me before I even arrived and Continued to check with us to make sure that we had everything we needed. We didn’t rent a car, and she was nice enough to organize a rental golf cart for us to get around town. It was perfect! The beach is beautiful, the house and street scenery was stunning, The locals are super friendly, and overall we are extremely happy. Our only downfall was that a few of us got sick. That can happen anywhere, but I suggest been careful about what you eat in town. We hope to return to Casablanca again in the future, and if we do so, we will stock up on more food that we can cook at home. It’s such a beautiful setting to relax in. Also, we took a taxi with Alejandro to San Pancho/ San Francisco and we really enjoyed eating out there. Alejandra was amazing and so was his cousin poncho. They showed up on time and picked us up on time and were extremely nice! I could write more and more about this place, but overall we had an amazing time. I just want to say thank you to Polly and David! We are so grateful to have stayed at your house and we appreciate all the amenities! ❤️

The BEST view
First off, this is the best view in the city. The house it atop a hill and you can see the ocean from the backyard. It is amazing!
The only negative I have is that propane is very expensive there so the jacuzzi was only on for one hour each night. It barely had time to get hot before it was off. I know this isn't the owners fault, but it was a little disappointing.
This house is fully equipped with any and everything you could possibly need. There were plenty of towels for the pool and beach as well as a full kitchen. There are even beach chairs, coolers, and toys you are able to take with you. The house was clean and everything we expected.
Polly is friendly and it was good having her on the property. She was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities.
We will be back!

Fantastic
I would like to thank David and Polly for the most wonderful holiday at this magnificent retreat that they have. They treated us royally and their house that I rented was so well stocked. Anything that you can imagine is there. The kitchen is lovely, enough space for 4 cooks. Although we ate dinners out [ thanks for the selection of menus] we found the food so delicious and inexpensive in Lo De Marcos. It was cheaper to eat out than to cook. Who wants to cook dinners when on vacation? We certainly don't.
Don't forget to go to the market in La Penita on Thursday but don't have any food at the restaurant within walking distance of the market. My cook Annika, left all the food. It was garbage. What a waste of $$$$$$$$$$. Eat locally first before you go to the market or eat at this great abode of David and Pollys.
We have traveled extensively in Mexico and would never complain when you are able to rent from Polly and David.
Both my daughter and I are teacher's with the Halton Board here in Burlington Ontario Canada, [the best city in Canada to live in] and the best board to work for ]. There were 6 of us, daughter and her family, my partner and me. There could have been more with plenty of room to spare. Annika my granddaughter 13 years old, loved the pool table and sister Reese age 16 loved driving the golf cart.
If you rent from the owners you will never regret this vacation. It is far superior to any hotel. March 28th 2019. our school break week March 9th -March 16th.
Happy spring from Canada!

The pool and the views are spectacular
We loved our stay at this house high on a hill in the lovely and friendly village of Lo De Marcos. We were two couples and the two wings separated by the kitchen and living area gave us all some much appreciated privacy.
Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and all opened up to the patio. We enjoyed playing pool in the evenings after dinner and there is lots of space to spread out.
By far our favorite part of the accomodation was the pool area with its amazing views over the beach and ocean. We really didn't want to leave this private oasis.
We couldn't get the propane barbecue to work, but meals in town were delicious and very affordable. We loved our meals at Carolina's.
Thanks to Polly for the warm hospitality!

A magnificent home overlooking the Pacific.
Polly and David made our family's stay in Lo de Marcos nothing short of wonderful. Great amenities, pool, hot tub, spacious rooms and common areas made for a tranquil and relaxing stay.
The town itself is charming and relatively unspoiled by overdevelopment but still has good dining options and access to all the necessities. The beach is mindblowing and sparsely populated.
A great place to call home in paradise.

WOW! Amazing house and property!
The best place to stay in Lo De Marcos!!
We were a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 teenagers) who stayed at Casa Blanca for 1 week. This property exceeded our expectations. The view is outstanding...the best in this great little town.
We enjoyed the local beach (a 5 min walk) and many surrounding beaches. The little town offers lots of small restaurants, great corner stores with all your needs including fresh fruits and vegetables.
Our hosts Polly and David went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The house was incredibly well stocked. Great kitchen with lots of supplies and we enjoyed the BBQ after we caught some fresh fish! The pool table was a huge hit and of course the pool and hot tub made for great days just lounging around with a book!
It was so hard to leave this beautiful spot...can't wait to come back

Incredible vacation!
What an amazing vacation our family had at Casa Blanca. My husband and I travelled with our five kids aged 7-21yrs old and every single one of us had an incredible time. Casa Blanca is a dream house. Best views in Lo De Marcos hands down - we saw dolphins and whales breaching out in the ocean from poolside! The house was very clean and inviting and had everything we needed. David and Polly were gracious hosts - answering all our questions, providing extra water whenever we needed, they had a folder of menus from local restaurants and they generously provided us with a ride up to La Penita to visit the local market. The house was stocked with games & books and the most awesome pool table that was VERY well used while we were there. There is also a small programmable safe to store your valuables. We brought a few of our own DVD's for the kids in the evening and the tv set up was easy to use. The pool was large enough for all of us to be in at the same time and the hot tub was delightful to soak in at the end of the day. We took great advantage of the poolside lounges - soaking up the sun, reading and drinking cervezas! The house has a delightful breeze that takes the sting out of the midday heat. You'd forget how warm it is until you headed down to the beach. The beach is a 5minute walk away - super clean and safe. There is an awesome tidal pool area at one end of the beach for the kids to poke around in and the walk to the north end of the beach is beautiful. We found a place that rented boogie, surf and paddle boards and were able to negotiate a weekly rate for while we were there. Lots of great restaurants on the beach -mellow with delicious food. There were a few vendors on the beach but very friendly and not pushy at all. We stopped at MEGA on the way to Lo De Marcos to pick up a large portion of our groceries but the town had lots of little shops to stock up on essentials while we were there. There was also a delightful market on Saturday. The walk into town only took 10 minutes and was an easy stroll. We have travelled to Mexico with all our kids before but always in a resort setting - Never again! All of our kids said they preferred staying in a small local town and experiencing "real" Mexico and all of it's beauty.
I almost didn't want to give a review as I want to keep this little piece of paradise hidden but Polly and David deserve due credit for providing such an easy way to experience paradise! We hope to return again and again

Casa Blanca is an incredible place to stay! Polly and David are amazing hosts.
We were so delighted to walk into Casa Blanca the night we arrived. We are a family of six with three teenagers and an eight year old. We were traveling with a friend so our total group size was seven. Watching how excited they were to see this amazing house, pool and hot tub was priceless. The house was very clean and inviting. We were also happy to see the house so well stocked as we were traveling with only carry on bags. Most of all, we appreciated the warm hospitality provided by Polly. She made sure that we had everything we needed and more. She gave great advice on restaurants and places to see. She helped us secure a taxi for our group of seven on Easter morning! She was readily available to us and a true pleasure to get to know. Her husband David had to be out of town so we were sorry not to have the chance to know him as well.
Highlights of our trip outside of Casa Blanca included going to Playa Los Venados beach, Tomatinos and Claridas restaurants and horseback riding with Lenny.
We will remember fondly our time in Los De Marcos...the quiet evenings and mornings around the pool taking in the breathtaking view.
Polly and David are clearly committed and gracious hosts who enjoy making Casa Blanca an awesome destination for their guests. We would love to come back again!

Perfect Piece of Paradise
This was the perfect getaway for a reunion! The space was HUGE and amazingly comfortable with enough beds, towels, privacy for everyone. The kids would wake up and jump into the pool while the adults took their time enjoying the coffee and views. Bird watching was outstanding. Sunsets were unbeatable. When you make the extra effort to travel to this quaint town in Mexico, you are staying at the Hilton here. Polly and David are very kind and accommodating. If we travel to Lo de Marcos in the future, we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Casa Blanca again!

A little slice of paradise on a hill in a small little Mexican town with one of the best beaches in the area! From the front of the home you have sunrise over mountain view, jungle views from the side, and a stunning Pacific view from the poolside. We highly recommend this location if you want to get away from it all. The home itself had everything we needed- the kitchen was well equipped and the beds comfortable. While some might consider the decor a bit dated- it added to the get away from it all vibe- completely non-pretentious. Bill and his wife were great hosts, they live next door to the home. Both of Bills local recommendations- from Gecko Rent A Car to the horse ride with local horseman, Lenny, were spot on. A great family vacation.
