Whether kicking back in the high-ceiling living room or hanging out on the private deck, you'll get a wonderful view of the lush grounds of this property. A spacious kitchen allows you to prepare snacks and meals on those (perhaps rare) occasions when you want a break from Murphys' wonderful restaurants, and the downstairs bedroom, with king bed, gives you peace and solitude to slumber after a busy day at the wineries. My husband and I stayed during President's Day weekend and Karen was a very welcoming and accommodating host. Even though she was out of the country while we stayed there, she was very available and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The cottage is very beautifully decorated and it is far more unique than many of the other rentals I have stayed in over the years. The king bed is incredibly comfortable and the living space has everything you could need. Unfortunately, it was cold and raining during our stay, so we couldn't enjoy the deck, but it looked lovely! It did take some time for the heat to really warm the place up, and the bathroom never got warm, so that was a bit hard for us, but other than that, we had everything we could need. There was a problem with the hot water, but I texted Karen and she made sure we were taken care of very quickly.
We would love to come back when the weather is warm! I'm sure it would be so nice to hang out on the deck with a cup of coffee. :)

We loved the little town of Murphy’s. Karen and Barry were so accommodating and friendly. The cottage is very updated and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom are on the first entry level. It should be noted that there are steep wooden stairs up to the second level of living quarters. A large deck outside is nice and has lots of foliage which made it very private. A very nice get away.

Our stay was perfect for two adults. Nice and newly remodeled cottage slightly away from the main house. Super quiet and not too far from downtown Murphys (about 5 mins). We saw a deer in the neighborhood, grey squirrel run by on the patio deck and a cute looking bird outside. The price to rent was very reasonable.
Some things we needed but forgot were coffee creamer and a tissue box.
Overall, our stay was fantastic and would stay again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Quiet neighborhood and clean place. Electricity went out for about 12 hours. Natures fault! Had everything we needed. Comfy bed. Make sure you press the button on the shower to get hotter water! My husband said it was luke warm. I took a shower after and noticed the safety safety feature. The store and Murphys Hotel have generators so they stay open. All in all, we had a wonderful time!

This cozy little retreat was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was close to everything, well stocked kitchen and the bed was so comfy! Highly recommend. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip immensely. The owners are friendly and helpful. The property is as described. We didn't want for anything. The neighborhood is very quiet. Indian Rock Winery is within walking distance, and Main St. is a short drive a way. We definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bella Robles. We were in Murphys for a weekend wedding and we were very pleased with our accommodations. Owners Karen and Barry were friendly and we loved their restaurant recommendations in town. We wished we had more time to stay at this lovely getaway so we'll plan for a longer stay in the future.

Hubby and I stayed in Murphys for a weekend getaway and this little cottage was perfect! Very clean, adorably decorated and a quick drive to the main strip. Neighborhood was quiet and clean and perfect for a morning walk. Perfect cottage for a couple who wants to enjoy Murphys without staying downtown. Hosts were super friendly too!

Lovely and welcoming cottage. Open kitchen/living space that is first rate in style! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud! So comfortable and the bedding wasn't too hot. Many hotels lately have had heavy down comforters and if you have them covering you then you are hot and if you don't you are cold. Very convenient to downtown Murphy's by car.

Clarification: The inside is clean, done very well, and appears to be completed. We made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves, even was able to see a deer up close. The bed is comfortable and we both really enjoyed the interior decorating!
We had an issue being locked out and unable to access the house on our second day. The owners had a family member over taking care of us within the hour, very helpful, apologetic, and kind!
The outside of the place however looks to be in the middle of, and does not appear to be completed. The paint is fresh and looks great. However the view outside from the bedroom shows a bunch of junk/trash that looks to be left over from construction. That sliding glass door should have a better curtain/drape that will block out the light better. This sheet looking drape that is in place does not block out any light at all making it impossible to sleep in.
We arrived after dark (as prearranged) it was pitch black everywhere, no lights and had a heck of a time finding the entrance around the corner from the main house(that enters into the bathroom???)
We also noticed a power pole that is located next to where you instructed us to park is surrounded by a tree/sucker that has sprouted within a foot of said power pole. This tree is at least 20 feet high, 5”-6” diameter at the base, and intertwining around the power lines. This is an EXTREME fire hazard and considering the terrain this is located in needs to be addressed right away. Once discovered, that was hard to ignore and not worry about during our stay.
I’m assuming the outside will eventually be completed and be as nice as the inside and at that point I would be happy to give this place a five star.

The cottage is Impeccably decorated, very quiet, comfortable, and a joy to be at. We had complete privacy and autonomy. Coudn't ask for a better host. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

Quaint Cottage
This was our 2nd time staying here. Cottage has everything you’ll need for a couples get away. Comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings, close to everything. Hosts are very responsive. We will definitely be back!
