The house was perfectly located so that we were never more than 20 minutes from anything we wanted to see. The convenient grocery store made meals easier to plan - and the kitchen was well stocked. Lots to entertain us too! Everything was just lovely and well thought out. It was comfortable for our family of 5. I cannot say enough good things about this stay.

Stayed there with my teen and young adult kids to visit our sailor stationed in the area. Lovely stay - 15 minutes from the beach and 15 from downtown!

Perfect location for our trip to Charleston. Publix market close by with a bunch of wonderful restaurants such as Mondo's Italian which was great. Ed was very responsive and address an issue with the termostat quickly. House was perfect for our small group and we enjoyed the back yard especially during the mornings. Bathrooms have been updated and the showers were great. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Only drawback was the dining table only had two chairs and two large wooden benches. Four chairs would have been nice. Overall it was a nice quiet stay at Club Ed.

First I’d like to thank Ed for being the best VRBO owner I’ve ever dealt with. Was super quick with responses. Was clearly a man of the 80’s with his amazing book collection and collectibles. House was in the perfect location to downtown and Folly Beach, where my niece was getting married. Beautiful neighborhood, lovely back year, stellar outdoor shower, and located close to grocery store and some cool restaurants. Make sure to read his “Live Like A Local” book, good stuff. Since Charleston is my favorite new spot I’ll be back. Thank you for everything Ed! Club Ed Rocks!!

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay that's convenient to both downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, this is a great option. The house is on a quiet street, but also very close to a shopping center with Publix and other businesses. Other pluses included comfortable beds, convenient parking and ample hot water for showers, even though we had six people in our group. The host did a great job of communicating promptly.

Club Ed was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 5! It was perfect 15 mins to the beach in one direction and 15 mins in the other direction to downtown Charleston. The house was comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. There were shops and local restaurants within a 5 mins drive or a few mins walk. Edmund was very accommodating and responsive leading up to and during our stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway.

The property is absolutely charming. Easy to get to and plenty of local stores for shopping.
Ed is a gracious host and provided excellent customer service. I hope I can stay at Club Ed again the next time I'm in Charleston!

We really enjoyed our stay while in Charleston. Club Ed was everything we were looking for in terms of space, proximity to both Charleston and the ocean, as well as a quiet neighborhood to walk around/explore in the evening.

Ed was the perfect host. When I booked and misunderstood something from the listing, Ed called me instead of messaging through the app. What amazing customer service. He was totally transparent and answered my questions honestly. So close to downtown and in a quiet neighborhood. The property had everything we needed. The home is well loved.

This house was in a great location about 10-15 minutes outside downtown. Easy accessibility going back and forth and not paying downtown prices. It’s an older home that has mostly been remodeled but it’s dated by a few things. Overall it did the job housing our family and was clean and comfortable.

Club Ed lives up to the hype! The house was so comfortable for our group of 4 and everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect - quick drive to downtown Charleston, grocery right around the corner, and Melvin’s BBQ hit the spot after a long day. I would definitely recommend staying here for an easy vacation spot that checks all the boxes! Thank you, Ed!

This house was awesome! Perfect for a group of 4 friends for a long weekend in Charleston. A 10 minute Uber from downtown, plenty of space, great yard, very clean, beds were comfortable. Loved this house, and the host was one of the best I’ve ever had. Responsive and check in/out was simple. Will book again if we’re ever back in Charleston and will recommend to friends.

We enjoyed our nice respite from the hustle of downtown Charleston. We had a family wedding in Mt pleasant and other festivities in Charleston. We enjoyed shopping, dining and site seeing in town and very much enjoyed our stay in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. The house was well stocked, clean and spacious for six of us. We would stay again.

Convenient for Navy Families
We rented this house for our visit with our sailor stationed at Goose Creek. This lovely house is convenient to downtown and folly beach. It’s also a short interstate drive to the base. We were able to spend time with our sailor away from school, but also able to drive him back quickly when he needed to return.
Spacious kitchen. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Many thoughtful conveniences. Easy communication with the owner. Highly recommend.

Comfortable beds and quiet location.
Property was mostly clean. We found towels and sheets left in the dryer. Some towels were not clean (lipstick and other).
There was no hot water in the master shower.

Convenient location in quiet neighborhood
This was conveniently located to downtown Charleston and the plantation gardens. It was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. There was a Publix about four blocks away. The house had nice conversation areas both inside and outside. But we were mostly out during the day so we did not use these as much as some guests would. The kitchen seemed well equipped if you wanted to cook, we did not. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice house in a great area!
Club Ed was just as described! The house was clean, the kitchen well-stocked, and the beds were comfy. There was even a bottle of wine and a six-pack of beer to welcome us!

Great location.
Wonderful neighborhood, quiet, and felt safe. Property was clean, big back yard, was just what we were looking for. Interior could use updated but was very clean, plenty of towels, and comfortable bed. We were 10 minutes to the beach and less for downtown Charleston. Owner recommended several places to eat, all were wonderful. Our favorite was Wild Olive, great experience and food. We ate out so didn’t use the kitchen much but seems to have everything you would need. We highly recommend.

Sweet Place
Cool stylish place, clean, 15mins from beach, very well provisioned. Our 2year old was terrified of suit of armor and refused to go in living room. Overall great trip.

This property is perfectly located. It’s near downtown, the beach and really close to attractions. The linens and towels were clean and owner also made sure to have plenty of essentials (like toilet paper, paper towels, hairdryer and even toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and body wash). The property was cleaned and tidy. Note that the washer and dryer are not connected to the home you will have to step out to the carport to access. A few suggestions would be maybe a few more pots, pans and knives.
