Gritz Carlton ~ Scenic 30A Vacation Rental on Beach with Pool and Spa
Stay at 30A’s southern version of the Ritz-Carlton – Gritz Carlton in Gulf Place/Dune Allen Beach. This gorgeous Gulf front home is just the right mix of sugar white sand, emerald green water, and sweet Southern hospitality. Your stay places you directly on the beach where you enjoy not only the view but also the ocean breezes and the sound of the surf. There is private beach access from the house that places you directly on the sugar white beaches. There is also a heated pool /spa with jets that overlooks the gulf. As you exit US 98 onto Scenic 30A, you know immediately that you are in a special place with over 40% of the area protected from future developments with dune lakes, charming communities, white sands and emerald waters. Gulf Place offers an array of shopping, outdoor activities, festivals and events. Please note that this slice of paradise is only offered through VRBO and is not affiliated with any other third parties.
The house is situated about 23 feet above sea level, which offers spectacular views of sunsets and sun rises, standing two stories tall and spanning 3,300 square feet. This vacation home host five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms and has accommodations for twelve of your friends or family members. Both floors are designed to host a whole family by itself with two living rooms, complete with bedrooms, bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, and access to expansive balconies with sweeping Gulf views.
On the first floor of Gritz Carlton are four bedrooms each with a private bath. You will love the wet bar and large living room, ideal for evening entertainment with your whole group. The living room leads out onto a spacious, colonial style covered porch and the pool and spa in addition to the overlooks of the sugar white sand beaches and the emerald gulf. The house is always immaculate. Location ideal... close to amenities, yet very private. Great correspondence with owners and their local representative. Pool is wonderful. Furnishings bright and cheerful. Our family loves coming here We started coming to Dune Allen in 1977- our children had wonderful summers there and now our grandchildren are making the same happy memories on Santa Rosa Beach at the Gritz Carlton. We’ve been coming to the gulf coast since 2012 and this was by far the best accommodations we’ve EVER had. There were 7 adults and two children and we had plenty of space to hang out together or have our own separate places to relax. The distance between the pool and beach made it super easy to go between both water sources. The host was super easy to communicate with and gave personal recommendations about local restaurants and activities. I highly recommend the Gritzcarlton. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked for the same week next year.

We had a marvelous stay on 30A in this great house with all the amenities you could want. We were a family group with my older parents (70s-80s), my adult kids and their partners and my husband and I. We had a wonderful time. This house --in addition to all the amazing amenities at the property and the beach--was proximate to restaurants, the bike path and lots of fun shopping.

The house was perfect for our family of 14. The location was excellent. The view was amazing. The large balcony on the 2nd floor was so pretty - to watch sunrise and the sunsets. The private beach was spectacular. The pool was great as well.

Gritz Carlton is the perfect place for your next multi-generational family trip! The pool and porch areas are setup so conveniently to supervise kid activities while relaxing. The beach access is ideal and you are minutes away from several restaurants and shops with a nice walking sidewalk path. We have already rebooked for next year!

My family LOVED this property for our Spring Break getaway. We were close enough to everything to do what we wanted to do but far enough away to not be overcome with the crowd. The house was incredible and had everything we needed. It was stocked well and the accessories were top of the line. The heated pool was a blessing as the weather was cool and very windy. I would give this a 10/10 for an awesome beach vacation with family.

Stay was great. Went for my wife’s birthday. 10 of us total. To be able to stay right on the beach, with a pool for downtime and a big house that fit us all was perfect. To have our chairs and umbrellas setup by Roger early in the morning was nice to have a spot when we went to the beach. We would stay there every trip. Great fun.

The Gritz was everything we needed! More than enough room for us and our three boys, Grandparents, and Uncle. Everything was wonderful and well stocked. We spent time inside and it is lovely but to be honest, the outdoor amenities are what you want to spend your time on! We were on the porches all the time, and then the pool, beach, and back. And the grand outdoor table is dreamy to have large family dinners while the sunsets. Will definitely want to come back.

The water colors viewed from the house were overwhelmingly gorgeous! Most beautiful beach I have ever seen. I did cry when we first arrived at the top of the stairs to the beach- the height of the dune with the waterfront below surpassed my expectations. I was overwhelmed with the beauty- sounds of the surf- sweet air and warm temperature. The heated pool was perfect for our family to get in water when the gulf was too cold or too rough. Gatherings could occur on the multiple porches with the view so all could enjoy or find a private space. Such a well thought out beach home. The decor was lovely and well designed for our families. I could not take my eyes off the horizon whether inside or out! Sunsets were different every night. And stars were beautiful with the dark skies. Everyone was enchanted with the power and beauty of the gulf! We cooked most meals to enjoy the location- and the kitchen was well appointed- a gourmet cook must reside here. Sharp knives- beautiful china- and plenty of room to enjoy food prep. With a view! This home even had washer dryer for both levels which was brilliant for quick washing. We had a great time walking the beach and just sitting out on decks. Well done - Thankyou for sharing this perfect spot with us!!!!

1. Privacy and large pool (rare in this area)
2. Central location between Destin and cute coastal towns on 30A.
3. Sugar white sand and shallow turquoise water with just the right size waves for body surfing.
4. A beautiful house with large porches and windows overlooking the pool and beach.
5. Attentive hosts that quickly responded to any concerns or questions and who provided all the essentials for the beginning of our stay.
6.Beach chairs and umbrellas set up each morning and taken down each evening.

Gritz Carlton Is A Winner
Great space for a family reunion. We had 6 adults and 5 children. Great house. Great location in Santa Rosa Beach. House is right on the beach. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The pool is a game changer with children, especially when you can't swim in the ocean. The VRBO host representative (Taylor) was very responsive to our questions and requests. Definitely recommend as a good vacation spot.
