About this cabin rental
Eagles on the beach at low tide, whales feeding in the shallows in the Spring, steps from the beach with no-bank waterfront - all of this in a community of only nine homes/cabins. There are no other cabins/homes for approximately a mile in one direction and two miles in the other which provides a perfect setting for romantic solitude and a safe haven for children and pets.
Upstairs is an open cathedral ceiling second story with two queen beds and a double bed.. Downstairs, in addition to a living room/kitchen area there is a small bedroom with a new full size bed with a 4 inch topper. Also, there is 3/4 bath with shower. Sit on the deck and enjoy views of the Cascades, Mt Baker, Mt Rainer and across the Beautiful views from Mount Rainier to Mount Baker, as well as, Hat Island, Mukilteo and Everett. Literally 10 steps down a slightly sloping concrete ramp. Only ten minutes from the ferry and five minutes from the charming town of Langley.
Please note that holidays such as New Years, Memorial Day, etc. that are not in the summer will be charged at summer rates. I do not post the following years rates until December. Reservations for the following year will not be accepted until the new rates are posted.
ABOUT PETS - Please note that pets are not allowed upstairs in the large, open sleeping area due to some guest's allergies. There is a dog gate and a door with which to close off the upstairs. Please note that dogs should be washed off outside - not in the shower. Washing them in the shower will necessitate the damage deposit not being returned. (Which goes directly to the cleaner.) Do not leave your dogs alone in the cabin or yard if they bark. This makes the neighbors crazy and I immediately receive irritating phone calls! I'm a long time dog mom so I understand that this is inconvenient for you. I'm sorry.

Beautiful view and nice beach. House was cozy. Location was good.

The best part of this beach house is that it is right on the water, literally. When the tide is out, you can walk from the side gate to the expansive beach. When the tide is in, you are treated to the sounds of the waves.

From the sunrises to the evening beach sunsets, the sea life and water fun, just beautiful! There is something for everyone and the cabin was clean, comfortable and cozy for our group of 3 adults and 2 children.

Private beach, beautiful scenery, friendly neighbors. Eagles, otters, mountains, with gorgeous sunrise.

It was a cute place right on the beach! We had a wonderful time hanging on the front deck and walking the beach. Beds were comfortable and the neighbor next door was friendly and answered any questions we had.

We had a great time at this beach house! It was so relaxing to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of waves right outside the window. We saw bald eagles and a whale from the back porch. House had everything we needed for a family of 3. It was in a very nice area and a short drive to delicious restaurants. We will definitely try to book this house again soon!

My family rented this beach front cabin for Mother’s Day and it could not have been more perfect. Would love to return for longer. Loved the quiet if the cabin and the town of Langley immensely.

I've been coming here since I was a child. The beach is serene, the cabin is perfect, and the trip here from Seattle takes less than 2 hours.
We come to the beach to unplug and forget all the noise. Works everytime.

A cozy place to stay for our annual girls weekend. Tides were quite high when we were there but had a bit of time for a quick beach walk. Enjoyed the water and mountain views!

We have stayed here about once a year for over 10 years and it never disappoints. Whether our children were 4-years-old, or now when they are teenagers, this is the best place on Whidbey. It is located close to the town of Langley which has great shops and places to eat (try Sprinkles for ice cream, Ultra House for ramen) but also near Pickles Deli and the Bagel Factory in Clinton. This is a no bank waterfront which means you walk right out onto the beach. We've seen whales, eagles, heron, seals, and beachcombed at low tide for hours. Best place ever!

We stayed over the Thanksgiving Break. The house is located directly at the beach, and because nobody from the neighborhood was around, we had the beach all to ourselves. The house was great, quite charming, and it was a treat to just go out to the beach in the mornings or at night. Harbor seals and bald eagles were regularly around, as well as a variety of water fowl. It was our first time on Whidbey Island, and it is definitely a beautiful location to visit.

The house is what you see in photos which is ok if u are just looking for a great beach with a pretty rough dwelling. I would not describe it as clean! It had a dirty sliding door, very sticky cupboards and appliances. Nothing felt spic and span. Someone does a sweep and wipe between guests, but cabin hasn’t had a good cleaning in a long time. The Outdoor sand area has weeds and grass and overall feels dirty. We would have been pleased with stay if house and beach side had just a bit of tender loving care and sprucing up. I have 45 years of beach rental experience. First bad review I’ve given. Gorgeous beach and nice neighbors.

This property is located on a wonderful beach on the east side of Whidbey Island. We were able to eat dinner outside and enjoy the sound of the waves while dining.
We could swim, walk in the eels grass and watch sea creatures in front of the house.
Everyone had a good time!

Located at Langley which is south of Whidbey island. House details per what was advertised. A lot of spaces. Comfortable beds and clean. Close to downtown area. The host provided good check in details. This house has a private entrance only for the people who stay in this housing area only. Beautiful views and private beach. One bedroom downstairs and 3 beds upstairs. One small bathroom downstairs. Suggest for future renter to come to this property not when it’s dark since the private entrance is very tight and steep downhill. Thanks for letting us stay at your property.

We only stayed 1 out of 3 nights primarily due to the weather (rain) and we did not want to be stuck in this cabin all day. It’s rustic like the picture shows. The one issue we had was the cleanliness of the kitchen as there were small ants crawling around the counter surfaces. The bedroom downstairs is small with a double bed which was a bit too tight for us. The pictures on VBRO are accurate of this property and if you like a little rustic then you won’t have a problem.

Cozy cabin right on the water as advertised. We loved walking the beach at low tide and were able to kayak from the house. We were staying with 3 young kids and had what we needed to be comfortable. Enjoyed a trip into Langley to visit a park and get pizza!

We have enjoyed coming back to the beach house again and again! The beach access is unbeatable! I love laying in bed listening to the wave crash!

This is an old and well-loved summer cabin sitting right on the high tide mark. Our expectations were not higher than that so it was wonderful as expected. This is a terrific, classic Whidbey experience. Only 8 minutes to downtown Langley for shopping and food.
A few recommendations: print out the wifi password and instructions for the home so we didn't have to bother the neighbor. A few wine glasses from Target would be good. Mattresses are getting lumpy and need to be replaced sooner than later.
It is a cozy cabin - there is no soundproofing, which is expected, and cheek-and-jowl with the neighbors so even though we were 3 well-behaved adults, we were very conscious of being quiet and neighborly. I sat in my car for a few hours taking business calls.

Beautiful view on beach front house. Spent many hours sitting on patio eating drinking and laughing.

Great location with fantastic views. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We especially loved the deck and fire-pit. Two things people should know are that the beach is only walkable at low tide, and that the street down to the property is relatively narrow and steep. This wasn't a problem for us though, and we would definitely return.

Amazing spot for a quick getaway. The views cannot be beat. Good location (close to Ferry and quick ride to Langley). The property was as advertised, no surprises. It is rustic but in all the right ways. Limited parking which wasn’t an issue for us but might be for larger groups.

Loved our stay at the cabin! The sunrises were SO amazing!! I sat on the deck all day and took pictures of the eagles, birds, ducks, and seals. Wonderful views of the ferries and Mount Rainier! I must have taken over 1000 pictures of the wildlife. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

We had a lovely time at this adorable cabin with an amazingly magical sleeping loft! Feels like you are at Hogwarts or on a Viking ship and I'm pretty sure the armoire leads to Narnia. View is gorgeous. We had everything we needed. The menus to Savory led us to try a new food adventure. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cabin with us, we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Like a fun grown-up slumberparty adorable crasg pad! Can't beat the views of the snowcapped Cascades and the beach walks off the deck. Who doesn't love the beach during the winter....you end up with the beach all to yourself!

We were there for 7 days and left the house o ly twice. We were there during a "King Tide". Everything we looked out (which was all the time.) It was different. We saw tons of water fowl, seals, bald eagles (we saw one catch breakfast and eat it while in flight). The topper was the morning we saw 2 Gray Whale swim past.
The house is fully equipped. The living room furniture quite comfy. It was a wonderful trip.

We have been coming to the property for over 10 years and it never disappoints. The proximity to Langley and with the quiet of the beach is the perfect combination. We shopped in town (the teens loved thrifting; I loved the bookstore), walked on the beach, and played trivial pursuit. Our only wish was that we had chosen a three-day weekend instead of two!

This was our 2nd time staying there. We will be back.

Unfortunately the purpose of this trip was to attend an all-day investment workshop with our partners in the Seattle area. This is a property where you want to stay and relax and enjoy the beauty of the location for days not just hours. We will plan on being in Seattle are again next spring and will make this location our first choice.

One of the most beautiful locations we have stayed. Lovely cabin, cozy and clean. Would love to come back in the future.

He love staying at this beach house! The kitchen is well stocked. Nothing beats going to sleep hearing the waves crash on the beach! My kids appreciate the abundant sand toys! We plan to return as often as possible!
5.0
Cozy cabin with clear views north, east and south. The front room is shockingly bright in the morning! There's just enough sand and yard to make a couple of dogs happy and easy access to explore during low tide. We like to eat out often and the proximity to Langley was ideal for grabbing a bite and sightseeing.

Witter beach
The location was great although the winding road to get down there was a little steep. But you can’t beat being right in the beach plus the small yard was fenced in for the dog! The only real concern was that the cabin needs a thorough deep cleaning.
