Aloha and welcome to our condo at the Waikiki Banyan, a premier resort located one block from Waikiki beach. Our suite is a corner unit on the 12th floor of Tower 1, facing the ocean and Diamond Head.
We have equipped this condo for our own occasional vacation use with an extensive range of quality supplies. Boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella, snorkel gear and sand toys for the kids are just a few examples that distinguish our condo from others. Take advantage of our gear, and avoid the cost of purchasing your own temporary supplies.
Our suite is more spacious than most at the Waikiki Banyan, resulting in a larger living area and dedicated dining area. The additional windows open up the unit to Hawaii’s cool trade winds, plus you can enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean while preparing meals! Our kitchen, bathroom and flooring have all been recently upgraded.
For added convenience, we have retained the cleaning and maintenance services of Koko Resorts, who have an office on the 5th floor of Tower 1. This benefit provides easy access to on-site maintenance if anything in the condo needs attention. If you need to do your own laundry, you’ll find a coin operated laundry room down the hall from our suite.
Your rental will include free secured parking within the parking garage, as well as free wifi in the suite. The Waikiki Banyan has a beautiful lobby with seating area, waterfall and koi pond. They provide a helpful activity station that can arrange for tours and excursions. For your convenience, there is a mini-mart offering a variety of supplies and goodies as well as a coffee shop, both located on the ground floor.
The 6th floor hosts an excellent recreation deck with features including a large swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, children’s playground, basketball & tennis courts, sauna room, barbecue grills, picnic areas, showers and restrooms. There is also a café that provides a large variety of meals, snacks and drinks. The comprehensive facilities make the Waikiki Banyan one of the most popular vacation destinations in Waikiki.
The east end of World Famous Waikiki beach is a short stroll from the resort and features a breakwater that creates a protected area of calm water, which is perfect for younger ones. However, the surf spots are not far away too.
Also located within a very short walking distance are Kapiolani Park, the Waikiki Aquarium, International Marketplace, Ala Wai golf course (the most popular municipal golf course in Hawaii), Honolulu Zoo, and the “Rodeo Drive” of Waikiki, Kalakaua Avenue. Car rentals, St. Augustine’s Church, supermarket, a multitude of restaurants, and shops are also easily accessible. For your added convenience, a bus stop is located in front of the resort which can take you locally or around the entire island of Oahu! All major attractions (Pearl Harbor, Hanauma Bay, etc) can be accessed inexpensively by bus.

The property is only a couple of blocks from Waikiki Beach. From the kitchen window, we could see the beach and the ocean. Free on-site parking was convenient and secure.
Lee and Brandie were great hosts, who provided excellent snd prompt communication.

We stayed 12 nights at this condo. Centrally located. One block from Waikiki! Everything is accessible by bus here…no need to get a car! If you’re a Sr. Citizen, you can get a bus pass which will allow you to travel anywhere for only $3.00 MAX per day! Definitely worth the trip to the Transit Station.
The hosts are wonderful. Excellent communication! We would stay here again!!

Spacious comfortable 1 bedroom apartment with large fully equiped galley kitchen. Close to the beach, diamondhead, the Zoo and many other places of interest. It included a parking spot with easy access.
A great number of othe amenities to make ones stay easier and more enjoyable. Having back pack beach chairs and a beach umbrella was perfect.
Overall a great location with great amenities and parking. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and very helpful!

The cover photo of the Beautiful view is totally misleading. The only way you get the view is to STAND AT THE KITCHEN WINDOW or STAND ON TOP OF THE BED. The 3 fans and wall air conditioner had so much dust caked on the blades that my husband had to find a brush to clean them.

The owners made checking in very easy and follow up emails to make sure everything was up to par. Very clean and thoroughly impressed with the whole condo. By the end it felt like home and i was sad to leave. 10 minute walk to the beach, great location and felt very safe. They had everything you could possible need and we will defintiley be back. Defintiley recommened this place if you plan on cominf to waikiki

This unit was perfect for our small family for a week stay. Close walk to the beach and everything else waikiki has to offer. It has just about everything youll need for the beach as well even a little cart to roll it all down there with (we didnt utilize it though). Our 3 year old slept on the pull out but I dont think an adult would find it very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fabulous week of fun and relaxation! The condo adequately supplied cookware, dishes, etc. As well as nice chairs and toys for the beach. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance or we took a tour on a bus. Groceries were conveniently available via instacart so not having a rental car was no problem. We would definitely stay here again!

This was my second stay at the Aston Banyon Waikiki. I feel very comfortable in that building. I like the lobby with the koi pond. We chose this property since there is a coffee shop in the lobby . We brought breakfast back to our condo.
Location is wonderful. I have now stayed in Waikiki fours times but found July was extremely crowded. This may be a post pandemic phenomenon.
The condo was clean and well stocked . The only thing lacking was additional blanket in bedroom. Building laundry was next door. In fact it was ripped up the day before we left. I think it was being upgraded. That's another handy feature.
Keypad access was a bonus. Parking availability was another plus. No assigned space but we always found a spot. Doesn't matter what floor you park on since the elevator is easily accessible.

It was a great time. Nice to have a place close to the beach and near most of what we needed. The mini-mart downstairs was useful. We had the opportunity to recharge in between activities. It was also supper useful to have parking included. The place was nice and clean.

Well maintained condo in absolutely great location. The view on Diamond Head from the balcony is gorgeous.
The condo is clean and the kitchen well equipped. Free parking is included. Easy walking access to the beach and restaurants.
On the counter part, the bed mattress has seen better days and there was only one functional beach chair.
Overall, our family of four had a great time and would stay there again!

This condo was perfect for our family. It was clean, comfortable, well furnished, and located in the heart of Waikiki. You really can’t beat this place. It even comes with parking! The owners were wonderful to work with. This place has it all.

Overall good place to stay , waking distance to restaurants and Waikiki beach.the only thing I notice is that the pool and hot tub is always full. I think a bunch of group would just decide to nest in the hot tub and not get out so others will have a turn too..

First of all let start by saying this property is one of the nicer condos on site. We had family who stayed in other condos on site and they we not even close to niceness of this condo.
Check in was easy, room was clean, all the extra add ons were amazing, location is spot on, security was great, free parking spot was icing on top of the cake.

This is a great condo in a fantastic location to be “home base” for your stay in Ohau. You can be on the beach in 5 minutes, walk everywhere in the surrounding area, take the bus which has major stops right outside the building, or take advantage of the free parking and rent a car to go around the island. The parking garage is tight so I’m glad I rented a smaller car. As far as the actual room goes, as long as you are familiar with how condos operate and aren’t expecting resort level amenities, you’ll be fine. Yes, the building and room could use updated maintenance but it fit our needs. Hosts were great and easy to communicate with. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy breakfast. I enjoy tea so I did bring my own kettle after reaching out to the hosts and finding out the coffee maker didn’t have a separate hot water maker. Super easy to pack so no big deal there.
My only complaint (that the hosts have nothing to do with) is Waikiki is noisy at night. The hotel pool especially can get extremely rambunctious with children screaming but enjoying themselves. Definitely wish the building would invest in some type of sound proofing. We wanted the windows open as much as possible for the trade winds so just slept in ear plugs. Building management does a great job of getting families out of the pool by 9:15 or so every night so you just have city noise at that point.
All in all come in with the proper expectations and you’ll have a great time in this unit.

The condo was very convenient to restaurants and the beach. It was very clean. It was cool enough during the day that the windows could be open and at night it was nice to have AC to sleep. Everyone at the Banyon was friendly. Having a parking space was definitely an added bonus. I would stay here again.

The condo was beautiful and the location couldn't have been better. There's also a beautiful very large lobby and a starbucks next door in the marriott. A quick block to the beach and great shopping even in the plazas that are connected to the marriott next door. We did rent a car for a few days and the ability to have a parking space in the condo parking structurw was invaluable.Thank you Lee and Brandie!

Grandma, mom, and 10 week old baby came to Hawaii for a wedding (left both husbands and the toddler home!). Great location for our wedding agenda. Relatively quiet for Waikiki , great parking. All kitchen utensils present but no basic food stuffs (salt, pepper, oil, coffee). No problem, just something to know.

The building property is a bit dated, stuffy, and could certainly use some updating with paint and carpet cleaning. Slightly better than Soviet block style housing. The unit itself was clean and unremarkable but sustainable for Waikiki and cheaper than a comparable hotel room, minus the comfort. It’s small for any more than just 2 adults. If the couch sleeper is utilized it takes up most of the useable space. The main bed is in ‘dire’ need of a new mattress. My wife and I slept in two separate pits with little to no comfort and no means of contact minus the struggle to climb out. No recommended for back pain sufferers. Our daughter fared little better on the sleeper sofa and found it to be better slept on as a couch. It’s very noisy at night in Waikiki so opt for the AC and all windows/doors closed for a little quiet. Oh, there’s also a sliding door divider that separates the bed from the other area…. Beware the painful “toe stubber” track on the ground. We all fell victim. The unit was clean and prepared. The garage was nice and easy to navigate and a perk for not having to schill out $50 a day for hotel parking.

This unit was great the had everything you need in it and good kitchen gear l, having beach gear to use is great feature. We would stay in this unit again. Thanks for having us.

This was our first time to Hawaii and this property was a perferct location. Even though we rented a car during our entire stay - used to visit North Shore, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head and mutliple eating locations, this property was located within 5 minutes to the beach, and walking distance to shopping and mulitple eating locations as well. It was a great place to stay. Pearl Harbor was amazing, Diamond Head do the walk at 6 a.m. well worth getting up early! Visit Fete resturant for the best chicken sandwich, Hulua Pie at Dukes! I would stay here again.

Had a great 10 day vacation staying at this beautiful condo. We traveled with our 2 year old, so the pack and play and stroller that were provided were super convenient!! Loved that the condo kitchen was stocked with what we needed, including a rice cooker!! Perfect location, great size and value for what we paid. We also loved the pool and playground. Would definitely stay here again!

We are a family of 4 and we spent the first few days of our vacation in Waikiki. This condo provided all the amenities we needed for our brief stay. It was spacious, clean, had nice views, and was in a good location. The beach gear provided was great to have and the pack and play for our little one was a nice bonus too. We had a wonderful stay.
