Amazing room, with a huge bathroom. Nothing not to like. Loved the offer of a pre-breakfast (coffee/juice and pastry)
No parking but there isn’t a lot the hotel can do about this.

Hotel was lovely! We stayed in Beach House room and we couldn’t fault it - beautiful! Staff all really friendly, helpful and efficient! And breakfast was superb. Great food and choice. We had lunch there on our arrival day too - again, great food.
We liked everything! The only one tiny negative was the side path to Reception door is a little untidy and uneven. Didnt really effect us, but it could look a bit prettier. Also, parking! We were lucky to get street parking outside, as it wasn’t too busy. But the rules for that are changing this month, so that won’t be allowed. However, staff informed us that parking will then be at their sister hotel a few minutes walk away.

Modern, stylist rooms and bar/restaurant. The venue had an expensive feel to it and furniture looked and felt like good quality. Staff were friendly, helpful and well kept. The breakfast was superb!
I think to keep standards high and to encourage repeat custom, they need to replace, repair little things. For example, a tile in the bathroom was loose and broken. Also at the bottom of the stairs when you leave the property at the side entrance the walls and decor looked worse for wear.

The presentation of everything in this place is second to none, we were absolutely blown away, we had the “shack” room with a sea view from bedroom and bathroom, I only wish we had spent more time in there it was that beautiful, 2 hours (awake), we were out most of the time as outside is just as beautiful as in, would definitely recommend and we will be back
WiFi was abit poor

Excellent sized room, great location, very comfy bed.
Staff really friendly, very easy to navigate with dogs although stairs to rooms are very steep so we found we had to carry our dogs.
Lovely decor, breakfast and pre breakfast tray were lovely.
£15 per dog per night is the most expensive surcharge we’ve found when travelling with dogs. £60 for two nights is quite an addition.
Dinner food was okay, quite expensive for what it was and not as nice as breakfast.

Stayed recently and cannot recommend highly enough. Wonderfully warm welcome from all the staff and a fabulous dinner and breakfast. Great location with local amenities nearby and a wonderful beach.
Will be back!

The property is execellent and the food and accomodations is to a superb standard.
The staff are excellent as well.
Rooms are faultless - big, spacious and clean
For where it is you are paying central London prices . . . its VERY expensive for a boutique pub / B&B on the Welsh coast.
Also bearing in mind a lot of people stating there use the ferry port at Holyhead you would imagine they would get breakfast started early as £150 a night is enough when you have to leave your breakfast behind!!!!
Also start for very late for the price.

Lovely hotel with great room. Staff are excellent and the breakfast superb. If you drive an electric car there are actually three chargers in the village hall/library just around the corner. They're not fast, but good enough to charge your car overnight. Worth the hotel advertising this fact as there aren't that many chargers in the area.

Really great. It was brought to our room as we had an early start.
The heating wasn’t easy to control but not a big deal

Great rooms and friendly staff with a great attitude- location fantastic and food amazing
Leaving a complimentary mini breakfast outside your room before you go down to breakfast was a lovely and thoughtful service
Little improvements would help to improve the experience- shower needs a holder for shower gel etc. No milk available for room coffee/ tea

Comfortable, clean and well equipped room (Ocean room). The sea view was lovely and the breakfast tray in the morning (in addition to the wonderful breakfast in the restaurant) was a lovely touch. Despite the restaurant and bar being very busy, we couldn’t hear a thing in the room..
The staff were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. We will be back!
There is no parking at the property, but we parked for free at the sister hotel a 5 minute walk away.

Everything as expected was pure delight. You have to stay to believe just how good it is.

Food at the restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast tray in the morning was a special extra touch which was a lovely surprise.
Was a bit disappointed that the decor in our room was scuffed, which being light colours is understandable, however, would have preferred to feel like I was fresh and clean. Cleaning wasn’t 100% but the beautiful decor and comfort of the bed make up for these minor things.

Excellent location. Comfy beds.
staff(Sophie in particular) tried their absolute best to rectify any problems.
Room was unacceptable with no soap, no coffee pods and no hot water. Drawers had not been cleaned and make up items left in the room. No extra pillows. No contact details in the room to call reception or for any information. Service at dinner very slow. Starter came after main meal - almost an hour and a half after our reservation.

Excellent staff. Great food. Comfortable room. Wonderful location - a real treat for a two night break away.
The morning tea outside the door first thing on a morning was a first.
Value for money....????
Two little things -
1. no tissues in the room or bathroom. Something minor but not considering the room rate.
2. used shampoo/body wash not replaced with new. Again something small but expected new at rate paid.
3.5 / 5.0
Staff knowledge a bit vague
3 Champagne choices for dinner but none in stock !!!
Bathrooms have no shelf for personal toiletries …major problem

The whole stay was thoroughly enjoyable. Room was large and airy and had everything we required. Staff friendly, helpful and obliging.

Breakfast was unavailable in any form on Saturday as we had to go out at 7.30. As this was known the night before, I think that milk and a cereal could have been offered to keep overnight as the breakfast was paid for.
Staff seemed unresponsive, and we were placed unnecessarily close to a family with active young children at dinner on Friday.

Clean, comfortable, really good location, amazing food, lovely decor
Parking may be difficult when in high season

The room decor was really nice and the view was good. The bed was comfy and the shower was lovely.
The room was either super hot or freezing cold, when we asked if they could help we were told there was nothing more they could to until the next da! We asked for blankets and when they arrived they were wet. The bedside light in the room didn’t work and the room was dusty in parts. Service generally was just not that welcoming sadly.

The views, the food, the little tray of tea and coffee left outside our room (and croissants), the breakfast, the staff, the bed - everything was perfect!
Would of liked some shower gel and maybe bubble bath in the bathroom.
5.0 / 5.0
Our whole stay was so lovely. The dinner we had on the night we arrived, food quality was perfect. Then each morning you get a little tray to your room about 7.30/8am with mini croissants, fruit juice and hot drink of your choice which is lovely, then breakfast - so good!! Couldn’t fault it at all.
The room was stunning with a lovely sea view. A little seating area in the room was a perfect place to chill out, and the bed was very comfy - even when we had our 5 month old in with us. Beautiful place to stay. Definitely recommend it.
