Overall the stay was pleasant and enjoyable.
The overall stay was pleasant and enjoyable. We stayed for 1 week: 04.01.2020 to 11.01.2020 in Chalet 3. 1. The location was great, the lift is just 50 meters away and so are most rentals and shops (actually pretty much everything since it’s in the middle of town). 2. You can access the apartment through 2 elevators from the parking, almost no carrying luggage. 3. The apartment is clearly either freshly built or renovated, the style is very comfy. 100% accurate as in photos (may be the living room is a bit smaller, but it’s plenty). 4. Great view, almost panoramic windows facing mountains and nothing abstracts the view and no one is looking through your windows. 5. Eva, our manager, was always available on call/what’s up and helpful. No question remained unanswered.
Before reading the “downside” comments please remember this is a rather expensive (at lest in no way economy) apartment: 1. The kitchen was very well equipped by dishes, over, microwave etc., but it ends there: *no hairdryer in every room (just one for 4 rooms) *no soaps in some rooms, certainly no additional one. *there is Apple TV, BUT no electricity socket near TV for it or HDMI cable. So no way to use it. *no basic housholding items you might need like entrance rags/doormats inside for shoes which we ended buying ourselves so we don’t spread snow/dirt. Not to mention shoe driers which obviously would be handy. So all in all very poorly equipped apartment. 2. Ski room is present and it is huge but just with ski-shoe storage. The rest of equipment you just store on the floor. The rest of the room is just empty. 3. Wi-fi works great until more then 2 ppl connect and you use it from bedrooms. Only covers the living room, otherwise disconnects constantly. Again there is a cheap solution for that but obviously it wasn’t given much thought. 4. No Instructions provided for where to take the trash out, what’s the closets shops and when they close, and other information ppl living in an apartment might obviously need. So a small guide on regular Q&A would’ve been very helpful but was not there in any way. 5. Be VERY cautious on using the fireplace, it seems obvious but is partly tricky due to its closing mechanism and a risk of smoke coming insides, again a simply showing “how to” or and instruction might solve this problem. 6. Had a problem before arrival with explaining that we need bunk-beds. The staff confused actually which chalet we have booked and told me no bunk-beds were available. This was sorted out later but again: it took 2 days and some nerves to figure out we’re OK. As I understand that was due to that several different people managed our booking. 7. In short the whole situation needs a bit more value for its cost.
