Sunset Beach, located on the southern tip of Treasure Island, is a beach lover's community straight out of a Buffett song. In fact, this beach is rumored to have inspired the song “Margaritaville” and considered one of the best shelling locales in the world! On Sunset Beach, you will find mid-century fisherman cottages and tiki huts mixed with luxe Key West-style homes on white sands. Visit Caddy’s on the Beach where bohemian attitudes and live music prevail or stroll gulf-front while taking in one of our jaw-dropping sunsets. For the adventurous types, water-sports are a must: para-sailing, jet ski rentals, stand-up paddle boards, day cruises, kayaking, and more are all available on the island.

Enjoy Treasure Island’s many seasonal festivals include sand sculpting contests featuring sculptors from around the world, fishing tournaments in nearby Madeira Beach, fresh markets, parades, and art expos.
