Buccaneer Cottage is located directly by the picturesque old harbour close to Brewers Quay in Weymouth, is Buccaneer Cottage. The cottage has three bedrooms 2 x double (with en-suite) and 1 x super king-size (can be made as twin) and a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up with a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area overlooking the harbour. The central harbourside location In Weymouth makes this the ideal choice for your family holiday with everything on your doorstep.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Cot and highchair. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins. Harbour 2 mins. Beach 10 mins. Parking permit available for Zone L on street parking until 14/02/2025, (spaces subject to availability and subject to council renewal).
Town: This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach.
