About this house rental
Nature's Bungalow is just 10 miles from the southern Entrance of Yosemite. This beautifully remodeled home is perfect for one or two couples or smaller groups. This lovely space has plenty of room to relax and enjoy your stay. There is a cozy living room with a fireplace, Smart TV & DVD player & offers a full and beautiful kitchen. There is also a great private outdoor patio area with private hot tub, Propane BBQ (gas provided) and 2 person hammock to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
The space: This home is in a lovely quite neighborhood and is next to Nature's Niche which resides behind the garage. There are no common walls or spaces between the two except that the back yards are side by side yet both are very private. Bungalow is raised above neighboring homes so has a lovely view of trees and distant mountains. House has AC unit, Heating system and two ceiling fans. There is also a dedicated Wifi, Top 100 Cable channels, Netflix (must use your own login). The only thing shared is the very large parking area up front. Bungalow parks to the right directly in front of the front door and there is ample room for two cars, while the Niche parks directly in front of the garage door.
COUPLES/PARTIES OF TWO: The site automatically gives you a discount when your guest count is 2 or less. The guidelines for the discount is that it is for 2 people, sharing 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom, ONLY the Master Bedroom and adjoining Bathroom will be open. All other Bedroom(s)/Bathroom(s) will be locked off. The entire rest of the home is yours to enjoy privately. The locked off bedroom(s) & bathroom(s) will NOT be rented out to anyone else. If your party of two is not a couple and you would like the use of an additional Bedroom and Bathroom there is a small $25 per night additional linen fee to compensate for lower rate we offer for couples sharing 1 room. We unfortunately have to lock off the additional rooms as we’ve had occasions where the home was booked for 2 and unpaid for guests were brought in which is unfortunate. If you have ANY questions regarding our pricing please inquire before booking your reservation to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.
ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE’S: Although the description of the home indicates that it CAN accommodate 4 guests, we choose to offer this home at a reduced rate for smaller groups. If your guest count exceeds that number of guests, there will be an 'additional guest fee' of $30 per person per night to compensate for the lower rate we have listed for smaller groups, until the maximum occupancy of this home is reached. We price our home in this fashion because we want to be fair to all group sizes, small and large alike. If we only offered a ‘flat rate’ no matter how many guests, smaller groups would pay the same as a larger group and we don’t think that is fair. We feel a smaller groups should pay less than a larger group. Most guests appreciate the break for their smaller group.
Pets:
CATS: None of our homes allow for cats, no exceptions.
DOGS/Other animals: No animals are allowed in this home. It's intended to be an allergen-free environment and includes animals of all kinds except legally mandated service animals with proof of service papers. If you bring a dog into our pet free home there will be an immediate fee of $250 no exceptions.
OUTSIDE FIRES (Not allowed usually between May and October ASK before doing so!!): California has been experiencing a severe drought and the area is extremely dry and the potential for a Wildfire is just to high to risk allowing guests to have an outdoor fire usually between May and October (ASK before lighting one!!). This regulation is determined by our local Fire Department and the banned months could be extended at any time. If you do not find a Fire Pit or Chiminea at the home, the fire ban is in place and they are not allowed PERIOD. When the fire ban is lifted, outside fires are allowed and they MUST be in an approved Fire Pit or Chiminea. If a outdoor fire pit or Chiminea is not provided, DO NOT under any circumstances gather rocks or other materials from around the home and create your own! This does not apply to the Propane BBQ's that are provided for your cooking pleasure. DO NOT use the BBQ for anything other than cooking your meal on, they are NOT intended to be used as a 'Fire Pit' and due to the propane tank attached to them they could explode by doing so.
Security Camera's: Guest acknowledges there are 1 outside Security Camera's onsite. They are located and they view the front entry and the driveway.

Peaceful and relaxing stay
My husband and 7yr old daughter and I stayed for 4 nights. The house was very spacious and clean. Important parts of the house were updated like brand new stove and dishwasher. I also liked that most of the cooking pans we're stainless steel instead of the toxic coated kinds. The bedrooms were nice and comfy with a little library. There are also boardgames to play in the living room. Neighborhood was very quiet. Overall a relaxing and fun stay for me and my family.

Me and my husband and another couple stayed at this rental and couldn’t be more pleased when we entered the home! Very clean scent! We had the home all the ourselves except when we went to enter the jacuzzi there was too much chemical (chlorine) in the water and we were only in the jacuzzi for 30 minutes. Besides that, the home was just perfect! We are beyond content with our stay & appreciative for the hospitality given. We will definitely be recommending friends and family.
Thank you Terri!

Great stay in cute cottage
We really enjoyed our stay and the place was great, it was also bigger than expected. It is about 1.5 hours from yosemite valley but we knew that ahead of time and worked out fine for day trips. We enjoyed the grill and hot tub in the evening time too.

Great little place for your visit to Yosemite!!!
Place was just as described and actually it was as bigger than I thought it would be. Easy to find and only a short 30 minute drive up to Southern entrance to Yosemite. We will be back for a longer stay next time. The town was much larger and had more to do than I expected.

Fabulous accommodation
This was an amazing place, very clean, modern and well-equipped. Hot tub an added bonus as we sat looking up at herons and turkey vultures. Good location for Yosemite although quite a windy mountain road into the park.

Loved the layout of the house, very comfortable and clean. Felt like home away from home and the hot tub is a major bonus especially after hiking Yosemite! I’d love to return

Welcoming and inviting space
This is a very nice place to stay. Terri kindly left the outside light on when she learned we would be arriving late and had the heater runing also. The living is as large as it looks! The place is comfortable and inviting. We would recommend this place to anyone visiting Oakhurst.

Very nice home! Terri was responsive and efficient.
The living/dining area is huge. We did not get to enjoy a fire or the deck, but utilized the hot tub with a good soak which was just what we needed. The beds are super comfy! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from Terri again if we are in the area.

Great place to stay
We were very happy with the bungalow. It had plenty of space for the three of us and was an easy drive to Yosemite Valley and Nelder Grove. The hot tub was very nice after a long day hiking.

Well Decorated, Clean and overall great location
My wife and I stayed at this location in July 2017, and the place is great. We stayed for our trips to Yosemite.
The location is close enough to all the stores in Oakhurst but not close enough where you hear any traffic. The house is very well maintained, and quite huge. The kitchen has new appliances, very large and not squished, large dining table that's not crammed into a corner with a very open living room. There's separate AC in both rooms, and it cooled down the place easily despite that weekend being 100+ degrees. We will be looking to stay here when we come back and visit Yosemite again!
