Nestled in exclusive Chambers Landing in Homewood, welcome to Eagle’s Nest, a beautifully updated home offering hilltop lake views from the kitchen, dining area, living room, loft, and expansive deck with hot tub. BBQ is typically available end of May thru Oct. This lovely home has five bedrooms with room to sleep 13 guests. Bring the family and friends for an unforgettable Lake Tahoe vacation!
The first level features a great room with kitchen, dining area, and living room with a plush sectional, wood burning fireplace, and flat panel TV. With floor to ceiling picture windows, you may find yourself constantly admiring the views.
The gourmet kitchen has all the extras—granite countertops and tile backsplash, upgraded cabinets, a prep sink, stainless steel appliances including a large gas cooktop, a dishwasher and a wine refrigerator. There is also an island with seating for four. The nearby dining table has seating for eight.
On the same level of this spacious Eagle’s Nest, there are three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds, one with a full size bed and two bathrooms—one full, and one half.
The second floor features two additional bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a full-size bed. There is a full bathroom. Plenty of bed and bath linens are provided. The loft with second living area has three twin beds, a sofa, two chairs, and a TV.
Summer Guests: You will have access to the Chambers Landing. Chambers Landing is a private beach and tennis club and is available to you while staying at this Homewood Cabin. For your enjoyment you will find sandy beaches, a sparkling heated pool, and tennis courts, all staffed by the Chambers Lifeguard Team. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, and a lakeview casual restaurant. Transportation to the amenities is made easy by catching a ride on the shuttle service. Lake Tahoe has many other features you can enjoy: scenic bicycle trails, golfing, horseback riding, tennis, rafting, hiking, and the mountains right outside your door.(Availability - Typically between Memorial and Labor Day Holidays.)
In addition to Chambers Landing, when you’re ready to venture out, many Lake Tahoe activities and sights are right at your doorstep!
Your home away from home is close to Meeks Bay, with a terrific sandy beach and paddleboard and boat rentals. Located on National Forest Land, the Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, sprawling clean beaches, and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including camping, swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness.
You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.
Just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great winter options: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!

We had 9 friends for a birthday/reunion and everyone had a bed to sleep in, there was plenty of space around the kitchen and living room too. It had all the amenities you could possibly need and the view was spectacular. Great stay!

3rd February in a row renting this house. It's a great layout and overall super nice place, but always has a couple small issues. This time it one of the two showers drained very slowly so your shower would end with a few inches of water in the tub. One of the sinks was missing the thingy that prevents you from dropping something down the drain. And the beds are all uncomfortable, some are really bad. But other than those small gripes, it's great!

The Eagles Nest house was great for a large group. The deck is amazing with views of the lake and lots of space to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Kitchen was well equipped. The only recommendation for improvement the beds could use mattress toppers as beds are a little firm. Other than that we will definitely stay at this home again.

It was a lovely stay. It's a beautiful home with a an amazing view. The hot tub was a dream and the beds were pretty comfortable. You do need to provide your own soap, shampoo + conditioner, paper towels and toilet paper - so heads up there. Will be coming back to this house again!

The location and the view is great, the kitchen is remodeled. However, the furniture/carpet is dated and old and not up to standards for total of 2000 per day rent/fees. TV upstairs was not working, the patio was covered with snow and was not shoveled to give access to the Jacuzzi. The BBQ was missing, a major for us who wanted to BBQ during our stay. The two bedroom upstairs did not apparently have AC/Heat vents so were very cold. In general, for the 2K per day, I would not stay in this house in spite of the beautiful view it has unless the furniture is remodeled.

The size of the house was beautiful and had plenty of parking. We Loved the stovetop and it had a nice size table to fit us all. There were lots of plates, utensils, and fry pans. (it would be nice if there were some scissors) We had thought there was a Bar-B-Q and were a little disappointed when we couldn't find one, but we made due. With such a beautiful view, we were disappointed that some of the windows were boarded up. Also, we had hoped to have been able to sit on the deck, to enjoy the view, but there was no chairs/furniture on the deck. We had a wonderful time!

Winter Getaway
A large home perfect for hosting a group of friends. Great views of Homewood and the Lake. Hot tub was easily accessible on the deck, however we couldn’t locate the grill. Note there is not a garage, and the driveway fits 5 cars tightly.

The space was perfect for our mixed aged group, allowing for space to play, relax, enjoy the outdoors and share meaningful meals together. The check in (4pm) and check out (10am) times were our only complaints, that said the property managers were flexible and accommodating. We would happily return :)

Wonderful Winter Weekend!
Beautiful home! The kitchen is marvelous, the view is spectacular and the layout of the home was very comfortable and accommodating for my group of 12 adults. Appreciated the full/queen beds in every room. One full bath upstairs and 1.5 baths downstairs. The hot tub on the deck was great also! The driveway fit five cars and it was only 20 minutes from Squaw. Can’t say enough great things about this location! The WiFi is a bit slower, tough to stream or download content a bit but other than that no one had any complaints. Thanks to the property management team as well for providing all of the details we needed and quickly responding to any questions. Highly recommend 👏💥🙌🏼

Overall the house location and property was great. The only negative I would say is that the bedrooms heat unevenly during the winter due to the layout of the air ducts. The bottom rooms get much hotter than the upstairs rooms. As a result we kept the upstairs cold at night in order to keep the downstairs bedrooms reasonably cool.

Out of all the places that were available for our family, I am so glad we chose this property. The view was awesome and the home was beautiful! The house was very accommodating for our group. The living area was truly inviting and cozy, but the newly built deck was probably our favor place to gather and catch up with each other. The rest of the house was perfect for what we needed, and the fact that we could pretty much sit together for our meals made it even better. Our plan was to relax, dine, and retire together....and we did just that! Thank you First Accommodations!

A few items in upstairs bathroom were not working properly (sink stopper, bathtub stopper, and ball-**** mechanism in toilet) and the bathtub stopper was also missing for the downstairs bath. The owner has little notes all over the place about turning off lights, etc, that are very annoying and off-putting at first.
