About this house rental
Come experience the pure life at Casa Pura Vida.
Recently renovated and just minutes from several secluded tropical beaches, Casa Pura Vida offers ideal privacy, close-to-town convenience, and first-rate facilities for travelers from all across the globe longing to experience the very best that Costa Rica has to offer.
Our guests only need to take a 12-minute stroll from the patio to get their toes in the sand at the nearest beach. And this stretch of coastline is so wide open, you could stay for hours without seeing another soul splashing in the warm waves out front.
Featuring two bedrooms in the main house and another “Monkey House” studio apartment on the opposite end of the property, Casa Pura Vida is ideal for up to 6 guests. Both bedrooms in the main house are equipped with air conditioning units, queen-sized beds and patio access featuring exquisite views of the mighty Pacific Ocean to the west.
There are one-and-a-half bathrooms in the main house. The kitchen, living area, and washer and dryer units are all located on the first floor. The villa is equipped with cable television, wireless internet and a BBQ, as well as all kinds of useful cookware for your culinary delights.
The patio at the front entrance of the villa was completely redesigned in December 2017, and with plenty of comfortable sofas and shade now available, now makes for an ideal spot to lounge around and sip coffee in the mornings or enjoy cocktails at sunset. The sounds of the local howler monkey community and the sights of toucans swooping through the trees only enhance these special moments with friends and family.
Casa Pura Vida’s swimming pool features areas that are shaded and areas that are exposed to the sun. So you can swing from a hammock above the pool while avoiding the sun rays, or you can stretch out on a lounge chair and work up a deep tan that’ll make all of your co-workers incredibly jealous. We call this having the best of both worlds. An outdoor bathroom and shower complement the pool area.
As you navigate the property from south to north, scoping out the beauty of the native plants and their incredibly vibrant colors, you’ll end up at the Monkey House. This is a spot for those that really want to be immersed in nature. The bathroom and shower are both outdoors (with plenty of privacy, so don’t worry) and the interior design is a splendid mix of river rock and native wood. And while the Monkey House may have the feel of vacationing with The Flinstones, the microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator provide plenty of 21st century conveniences as well. Where’s the best place to see monkeys on the property? Easy, the Monkey House, right around back where the creek cuts through the jungle.
In terms of location, Casa Pura Vida is located 10 minutes south of Dominical and 10 minutes north of Uvita. Dominical is a laid-back surf town with international and local restaurants, bars and lots of souvenir shopping. Uvita has great restaurants as well, and also features banks, pharmacies and larger grocery stores. Within 30 minutes of the villa are more than a dozen world-class beaches, all of which feature ocean temperatures in the mid-80s.
At YouGetHere Property Management, we strive to provide all of our clients with a top-notch vacation experience. We have an office nearby and are prepared to assist our guests with tour reservations, in-home chef services, car rental and shuttles, and any type of villa maintenance that may pop up. My family loved this home. The outdoor space was absolutely amazing, and we loved the pool, and all of the wildlife we were able to see while just lounging on the patio or hanging out by the casita. Both the casita and the main casa were beautiful as well, and we loved having an outdoor bathroom to shower off after the beach. This house was perfect for anyone who loves nature and wants to be immersed in the beauty of Costa Rica. Make sure to have a 4x4 and be prepared to be woken up to the sounds of birds tapping on the windows and monkeys in the trees.

This Villa is absolutely stunning, and “paradise” is indeed a perfect descriptor for the property. We spent our mornings on the spacious front porch, enjoying our Costa Rican coffee and looking for wildlife, and our evenings on the same porch, watching lighting storms move across the coast. The pool is covered and refreshing when the rain kept us from the beach and the sightings of monkeys and toucans were an absolute thrill.
The hosting staff from You Get Here properties were extremely attentive and helped made sure we were comfortable during our stay. They even went out and bought us a new blender so we could make homemade pina coladas.
We did experience a power outage (which we were prepared for) and a loss of water (which we were not prepared for) for 15 hours, but the staff worked hard to get everything back up and running again.
The biggest con to this property was actually the location. The map on VRBO shows that the property is walking distance to Dominical and the listing title says the property is walking distance to the beach. It is actually a 10 minute drive to Dominical (which I realize now is described further down in the listing details) and walking to the beach would require a pretty intense/steep hike and crossing a very busy highway. Another ac unit downstairs would make the common area comfortable, but other than those things, the stay was amazing!

This house/property was amazing! The ocean view was stunning and we loved watching the toucans and walking the property with all the little benches and spots to sit and absorb it all! The kitchen was well-stocked, house clean and the pool/hammocks were a huge hit! We did walk down to the beach in front of the property (about a 12-minute walk with my crew) and the beach was gorgeous!! We also drove a quick 5-7 minutes and spent the day surfing/soaking at Playa Hermosa! My favorite was the Monkey house and the screen windows, powerful ceiling/stationary fans and outdoor bathroom! Complete with bird and howler monkey background music!
I couldn’t believe we got to stay here for our vacation! It truly is just as beautiful and more so than the pictures! And easy communication when we had questions and arranged for arrival/departure! Thank you for sharing this home! We hope to return!!!

The house is perfect if you're looking for a secluded jungle stay, but not walking distance to the beach. During the check-in process with the YouGetHere representative, we quickly realized the house was not an "8 min stroll to the beach." The rep confirmed this and said we should not trying walking from the house because the main road is too dangerous to cross on foot. He also said the beach was too rocky and we should avoid it. He admitted he didn't know why the listing said anything about a beach.
Otherwise the house and surrounding jungle was lovely and we had a fantastic time!

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as fantastic as the first (hence why we came back). If you want to get away from the world for a while and immerse yourself in one of the most stunning landscapes then this is the spot. The house is fantastic and speaks to the traditional casita vibes you’re likely looking for if you’ve already stumbled upon the Dominical area. The flora of the property is next to none, I’d compare it to some of the finer botanical gardens in the world. The area is easy to get to and a short drive from town but far enough to make you feel the privacy your looking for. The area is very safe and great for surfing. The only thing we wish is that we stayed longer.

Wonderful location on a property well maintained garden and ample birds and wildlife. The walk to beach and it’s access was not fully explained though and that it is not really for swimming.

This was one of the most beautiful homes I have ever stayed in! The detail and craftsmanship was second to none! We loved the architecture. Kitchen was extremely well stocked and we had no trouble preparing a few meals! The pool was a highlight of the stay. I spent hours just floating and watching the wide variety of birds that visit every day. We were treated to a troop of monkeys visiting one day. That was amazing! Location is great. Between Uvita and Dominical so you have lots to do and shopping is easy. The hosts answered all questions and were extremely nice and welcoming. Can’t recommend this place enough. One teeny tiny point is that it’s not really within walking distance of a true beach as the listing says. You can walk down the hill to the water but it’s not a beach you can swim and laze about on. It’s just a tiny point but bear it in mind. Overall loved it and didn’t want to leave! Pura Vida!

This is the perfect property to reconnect, recharge, relax, and experience life to its fullest! Our family loved exploring the property, enjoying the views, listening to and seeing all the wildlife, and chilling by the pool or on the beautiful deck. The Monkey Hideout was so cool! Felt like you were living in the jungle. Howler Monkeys, in the morning, get your day started! The house has all that you need for your stay. Full kitchen, laundry, and plenty of amenities to make the stay comfortable. Located between two amazing laid-back beach towns. Uvita and Dominical. Both spectacular. Close to great shopping and restaurants/bars. The supermarket is just up the road. Perfect for small families or 3 couples. Our two kids (18yr+) stayed in the main house and my wife and I stayed in the Monkey Hideout. The team at Yougethere was great to work with. They pointed us in the right direction for activities and made the check-in/out process easy. Pura Vida! We'll be back!

Although the property was amazing with monkeys, beautiful vegetation, flowers and Toucans abundant. The VRBO could use some work. Very firm beds, leaky faucets, oven was difficult to use so we used the toaster oven. The grill needs replaced. The lock on the gate was very difficult to lock/unlock. The washer and dryer are very old. We mentioned this to the property manager, and he was receptive. Again, the grounds were amazing, the pool was awesome, it was quite an experience.

Beautiful property for our Christmas in CR
We really enjoyed our 2 week stay. We cooked dinner almost every night and ate out on the porch. Kitchen is very well stocked. The property is absolutely beautiful, we saw Monkeys almost every day and heard the howlers every morning. The pool area was so nice to relax by and cool off in.
We had 5 people in our family, 3 people stayed in the main house and my husband and I stayed in the monkey house. Plenty of space for everyone.
My one complaint is that the monkey house wasn’t very clean and the screens on the windows are ripped so there we A LOT of bugs in the house, and in our bed. We got bit up pretty badly. We only had cleaners sent to the property once in the 2 weeks we stayed, so if you are used to daily cleaning at vacation rentals in Mexico… be forewarned. You can’t flush toilet paper at the property so you will have to deal with baskets full of poop paper.
So, other than the cleanliness and rips in the screens, we loved the place.

Would Stay Again!
We had a great experience and Jonathan was awesome in getting us settled in, but also helped with fishing and other other events. He was quick to respond to the serval inquiries we had that really helped to make our stay the best. He was very professional. We did have an AC issue, but he had this resolved early the next day.
This house is nicely landscaped and has a great sitting area and is the best equipped rental I have experienced. The kitchen had every item needed to cook, plus more. The was grill was nice and the BBQ utensils were provided which was great.
The property is close to the main road, but far enough away to provide privacy and closeness to nature. We saw monkeys, several birds, frogs, toad, toucans, Macaws fly over, abut 20 miniature pigs (Peccaries), plus there is a residential Agouti (large rodent) that can be seen around the property , plus so much more.
We loved the property and have a lot of positives and would definitely stay again, but here are some recommendations:
- It does rain, so an umbrella would be great, when running between houses.
- The majority of the property is tilled, so shoes are not needed, unless going from pool to "Monkey House" which has sharp rocks on the walkway. It would be great to have tile or stepping stones so shoes are not needed.
Be aware that Monkey House is more like glorified camping, since it does not have AC or windows (only screens). I personally enjoyed this and the fan provided was more then sufficient to stay cool.
The one negative about this property is the toilet paper warning posted, which states that al paper products, including toilet paper needs to go into the trash can provided and not down the toilet, which is an odd ordeal and can result in a smelly situation. If the plumbing is so sensitive, then why not provide paper similar to what is used in RV's?
Note: the power does go out daily. Mostly it just flickers but we did experience about a 4 hour outage one day. This likely typical for the area, especially during the rainy season, so don't bother resetting the digital clocks. :)

Wonderful property
This is a wonderful property some minor inconveniences. The monkey house only has a limited amount of warm (not hot) water and that is only when it's on a trickle. Otherwise cold water if you want full flow. So not good for washing hair, etc. Some other minor inconveniences but overall a great place. Our biggest complaint is the lack of communication during check in. Ismael seemed to be in a bit of a rush. Did not mention important things like a 2nd driveway to monkey house which would have saved us from lugging 50 pound bags up there, WiFi in monkey house had an on/off switch which we FINALLY figured out on our 3rd day. Those things would have been very helpful to know up front, along with some other things. 5 extra minutes of his time would have saved us some hassles. Again, we did enjoy this house very much. The property manager just needs some polishing.

Amazing!
This place was beautiful! The view of the ocean and forest were breathtaking. Very relaxing atmosphere with a spacious and comfortable deck for looking at all the birds and wildlife. I would definitely recommend this property and will book again myself! The property manager Jhonnathan was a delight to work with and very accommodating to all our needs.

Beautiful spot in perfect location
Casa Pura Vida was the perfect place to rest and unwind after a day of adventuring in Costa Rica. Night sky filled with stars and sounds of nature paradise. Already wishing I was back there. Location is perfectly situated right between Uvita and Dominical and just a quick shot to dominicalito. High enough in the hills for beautiful views without a long trek. I will be back

December 20-27 stay
A few critical things did not work and did not get repaired during our stay to include the hammock, the lights for the pool (could not use the pool in the evening), the toaster oven.
Er had issues with the downstairs bathroom with a cracked bolt that created leaks.....it took a few hours of water leaking on the floor and we could turn off the water because the room where the water main is located was locked - that needs to be handled better.
We liked Manuael who greeted us and I thought he would be our contact person but he was not.

YGH Property
Beautiful property, had a few problems with water cooler leaking, we had to supply our own drinking water for the coolers as well, which doesn't seem right. Blue tooth speaker didn't work, no hot water in the Monkey House for the 9 days we were there.

Wonderful stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Pura Vida. We were greeted by Alonso who was very accommodating for our arrival and throughout our stay, he answered any questions that we had very quickly and had lots of recommendations of places to eat and visit. We saw more wildlife on the property than we saw anywhere else. White faced monkeys were outside in the trees having breakfast every morning and were so adorable and curious of us watching. The only thing I would say is having a 4X4 rental vehicle is a must for the steep rocky hill to the property. We would love to return to visit one day.

Paradise again
We just recently returned from almost a month at Casa Pura Vida and have spent every day since wishing we were still there. We stayed here last year for about a week and loved it so much we rented again and decided we had to stay longer...and are already thinking about staying even longer next time. It's just an amazing property! Claudia & the team at Get You Here are terrific and always available- not sure we would ever want to rent with anyone else. My husband & I stayed in the monkey hideout and had family staying with us in the main house. Peaceful mornings started at sunrise with coffee & wildlife spotting. We saw many wonderful birds as well as coatis & almost daily visits from a couple of capuchin troops (usually later morning), a couple howler visits and even a possible jaguarundi sighting early one evening. Casa Pura Vida is perfectly located within easy driving distance to both Uvita, Dominical & the mountains. Access to the house is easy which we have not found at all locations in the area. We spent many nights having dinner at home grilling fresh fish & enjoying family & games on the patio of the main house which was set up perfectly for our group of 6 people. The kitchen of the house is better equipped than my house at home with everything we could have wanted. The pool is such a wonderful part of the property which offers a combination of shade and sun all day long so you can just cool off & relax. We loved Playa Hermosa beach which was about 5 minutes away and we actually saw scarlett macaws there a few times. The northern end of the beach has a nice shaded area and you can swim in the fresh water river there that runs into the ocean. It gets pretty busy here on weekends so we just made our beach days during the week. We loved eating at Por Que No (sunset ccoktails on their patio is amazing) and La Parcela- our 2 favorite restaurants in the area which are also only about 5 minutes away in Dominicalito. We also had the most wonderful experience meeting a small family of coffee growers at the farmers market in Uvita. If you have the chance stop on Saturdays and meet Danier from Cafe Don Emilio. They have a small coffee farm which is about 45 minutes away up a dirt road from Uvita and certainly worth visiting and doing the tour and of course buying their coffee. They really are a beautiful family and remind you how truly lovely the people of Costa Rica are. Loved every moment- Pura Vida

beautiful funky house with gorgeous tropical gardens and a delightful pool area.

Just like in the pictures!!
We felt so lucky to have rented this home for our visit to Uvita.
The home is VERY beautiful!
Has everything you need.
My wife especially LOVED the outdoor shower in the master bedroom.
The internet was a bit slow and could use some updating to be faster.
But we managed.
We saw a family of howler monkeys who visited us on our last day we felt so lucky.
The gardens are spectacular and very well kept.
Management company was very friendly to deal with.
Would we stay here again....YES!!

Very nice, authentic Costa Rican property
Very nice, well appointed and beautiful property. The pool is in between the Monkey house and the main house, which made hanging out in the pool a little bit of work. Overall, I would recommend this place as it is centrally located, clean and well appointed.

Beautiful and comfortable vacation home
Very clean, comfortable and well appointed home that overlooks the jungle with the ocean in the distance. We especially enjoyed utilization of the covered porch, its vistas and proximity to the monkeys playing in the trees (and sometimes on the roof of the house). It's a great place to read a book and listen to the various sounds emanating from the forest. The house is stocked with modern appliances and accessories and everything works well. The pool is great too and offers a refreshing contrast from the warm and salty beach water. We ate breakfast at the house and the other meals off the property, mostly in Dominical. Our favorite was PorqueNo, a short drive up the road. All in all, a very clean, well maintained and chill place to spend some time. Highly recommended

A beautiful tropical forest setting with visiting toucans, howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, etc.
You will enjoy the primordial sounds of howler monkeys at first light as you listen to the surf in the distance telling you to get down to the beaches. Gorgeous stone house and pool. Perfect for our family of four (but six would be good too) and lots of privacy with the monkey hut separated from the main house. The kitchen and veranda are a perfect set up to plan and then reminisce about your day.

Casa Pura Vida was our very own Costa Rican sanctuary!
We loved our stay! Woke up our first morning to a bunch of capuchin monkeys jumping through the canopy above the cabina. Lots of toucans and other beautiful songbirds, too. We loved sitting on the patio - perfect way to start and end each day. Our whole family took advantage of the pool and some serious hammock time during the heat of the day. It was a bit musty smelling when we first arrived but opening the windows and turning on the fans quickly took care of that. The house had so many amenities including a blender for our fresh fruit smoothies (from Jorge’s fruit stand a short distance from the house) and a beautiful gas barbecue on the patio where we cooked the fish we caught with Captain Kevin from Diablo fishing for some delicious fish tacos.
Although the location worked well for our family be aware that you won’t be walking to the nearest restaurant, sandy beach, or town. We usually went to a beach to watch the 5:45 sunset and then headed home to cook up some dinner and enjoy the patio (covering the patio was a great move). We would definitely stay at Casa Pura Vida again as we felt safe and secure in our tropical paradise!

Very nice home with lots of wildlife.
When we arrived we met with Stephen. He was very helpful. The owners had added a new awning to the front of the home. This was a huge plus, it gave us a nice sitting area. Very nice house with a separate cottage in back surrounded by wildlife. We had a wonderful stay. thanks

Amazing property, beautiful landscaping
We stayed at this property for 1 week and it was perfect! The covered porch was our favorite. We ate here, enjoyed our coffee and just loved watching the wildlife and seeing the ocean. We even got to enjoy some beautiful thunderstorms which were amazing. there were a ton of tucans and birds and there is a little tribe of white faced monkeys that hang at a tree near the pool every single day. The house has AC in the bedrooms but the temps were nice so we didnt need it much. The pool was so refreshing after a day of adventuring and just to let the kids swim while we relaxed. The gardens were so well maintained and had the most beautiful flowers. You wont be disappointed when staying here.

Amazing home & wildlife
We just stayed at Casa Pura Vida with our relatives for Christmas and had an amazing experience. This is our 4th time to CR and this was by far the best home and the best wildlife we have experienced right in our yard. To start, the pictures do not do justice to the home...recent addition of the covered front porch was beautiful. We traveled with 4 other family members who stayed in the main house while my husband and I stayed in the separate cabina. Bedrooms in the main house had ac and though there was none in the cabina, the stone walls and jungle shade kept it perfectly cool. Also the cabina had a wonderful outdoor shower/bathroom which was so great...watch wildlife while showering, etc. We spent a lot of family time hanging out on the beautiful, big patio at the main house. VERY well equipped kitchen also. Now onto the wildlife...as I said we have been to CR 3 other times and by far Casa Pura Vida has the best wildlife we have seen so far. Most spotting was near the cabina which has more jungle coverage. We were visited by capuchins every day either morning or evening or both but the best was xmas day...we had capuchin monkeys in 1 tree, howler monkeys in another tree and a coati in a tree taking a nap over our heads. All were such a short distance from each other and from us that we couldn't believe it. Also can't forget about the toucans, guans, oropendolas, parrots, etc that we also saw every day. We met with the very nice property managers upon check-out who asked is we had any problems or suggestions and we couldn't come up with anything that would have made it better. Trying to figure out our dates for next year so we can book again.
Pura Vida!

Even better than the pictures!
My first impression as we drove up to the property was are we really staying here? Such a beautiful house and well maintained property. The grounds are sufficient for a morning stroll through a tropical garden which is well maintained by a local gardener. The patio and balcony offer the perfect vantage for relaxing while overlooking a jungle Paradise. Plus Dominical was just a few minutes away where we could brave the surf, do some shopping, or find an interesting dining venue.
The house was well equiped with everything we needed to truly have a vacation to remember.

Wonderful house and garden!
When we booked Casa Pura Vida we really liked what we saw on the photos and we were not a bit disappointed when arriving; the property is just wonderful! The house is really charming and walking around in the garden is amazing with all beautiful plants , trees and flowers and hearing and seeing all insects, birds and even monkeys is just fantastic. We were 6 persons staying one week and it was really comfortable as we also rented the little charming extra house. The location of the property is great with just a few minutes to Playa Dominical or Playa Uvita by car. Neil and his staff at "yougethere.com" are very professional, nice and helpful so we really felt that we were well taken care of during our stay.

Costa Rica Getaway
We rented Casa Pura Vida for Spring Break with our 3 adult children and had a great time. The house and its surrounding grounds were beautiful and extremely well kept. We saw monkeys, toucans and lots of cool iguanas. The swimming pool had a really great cabana over it with hammocks to relax in. That was probably the best part of the house. My husband and I stayed in the little cabina and absolutely loved the outdoor bathroom and shower. It was so unique. I would highly recommend Casa Pura Vida to anyone who is looking for privacy and also being close to restaurants and shopping.

A Winter Respite
We chose Casa Pura Vida as a reward for personal accomplishments and as a way to shorten a dreary North American winter. The weather, the Costa Rican people, and the house fulfilled all our wishes. The house has everything we needed to live comfortably. The jewel of the facility is the covered swimming pool. The road leading to Pura Vida is rough, but it is worth it. The grounds are private and beautiful. We did not try walking to the beach. In our estimation it would be a challenge. However, the beaches up and down the coastline at Dominical are wonderful. We have rented houses in many settings, urban and rural. We think Casa Pura Vida is the best bargain we have experienced. The surrounding area provides many good restaurants, a lot of life, and abundant warmth.

Our own private nature reserve!
Myself and husband travelled from England to stay in the aptly named Pura Vida for two weeks. The house and garden are beautifully maintained and cleaned to the highest standard. The grounds were our personal nature reserve. Everything we needed was provided including well equipped kitchen, efficient and quick washing machine and dryer, fast and reliable Internet connection and extremely comfortable beds!
Each morning we sat having our early morning coffee on the ocean view bedroom terrace, watching and listening to the wildlife. From here we saw white faced capuchin monkeys, countless species of birds including toucans, macaws, hummingbirds, a variety of butterflies and much more. The swimming pool area was great, equipped with loungers and hammocks and on some occasions we swam whilst watching the monkeys. From outside the Monkey Hideout cabina we watched and photographed the Howler monkeys in the forest.
The manager Neil was very helpful with his extensive knowledge of the area and he arranged some great tours for us; a boat trip with snorkelling to Cano island - this is a great fun day, stopping to watch the turtles and dolphins en route to great snorkelling in the warm waters, then a thrilling zip lining experience right down through the jungle.
I'd highly recommend this villa for a romantic hideaway, for a family or group of friends. Great value for money and our best holiday yet!

The most amazing place on Earth! Worth the drive.
We had simply the perfect vacation to Casa Pura Vida for Spring Break 2015. Our family of four (10 yo, 13 yo) spent 10 days at the house and could not bear to leave.
It would be impossible to convey how amazing (and EASY) this vacation was. Neil's packet of trip information was invaluable, and everything in there was accurate. We arrived after dark, and still managed to find the house pretty easily.
The house is stunning. STUNNING! It is more beautiful than the photos can convey, with a huge upstairs balcony and an enormous porch with outdoor dinner seating (both with ocean views). There were more than adequate comfortable patio chairs for lounging after dinner. And that pool! We spent multiple hours a day at the pool, resting in the hammocks and playing with the kids.
Here are some of the bonuses (that I must have missed in the description when I booked): outdoor charcoal grill, rinse-off station behind the house in addition to A FULL BATHHOUSE adjacent to the pool, a small hiking path on the property, a covered parking area, complete privacy, pool lighting that allowed you to use the pool area well past nightfall, a more than fully supplied kitchen (there were appliances that we don't have at our 'real' house), not one but TWO WiFi connections--the pool has it's own, a TV with ESPN --in Espanol -- which allowed our kids to see the Final Four and some NBA games. I could go on and on!
I don't think I realized initially how convenient the location would be. It is a 3-3.5 hour drive from San Jose, but it is a gorgeous drive and there are infinite roadside restaurants along the way. Once at the house, you are only 5 minutes from the surf town of Domenical and 5 minutes from Uvita with great grocery stores that were open long past dark. Uvita was the start of the national beaches which we LOVED. There were probably 30 restaurants within 15 minutes of the house and we did not have a bad meal in the lot. The whole fish entree was a favorite of everyone in our party.
We did the Nayauca Waterfall horseback ride which was worth every cent. It was $70 USD per person, but included two full meals and was worth every penny. Kids loved the cliff jumping/diving and we got some unbelievable photos.
Our kids took private surfing lessons on the 2nd day, and loved it so much that we went back twice more for additional lessons later in the week.
I'm out of words, but it was truly a magical vacation. Perfection!
