View Sombrero Peak as you lounge by the pool/hot tub/fire pit, cook on the gourmet grill or relax under the covered patio. This peaceful, newly decorated 4 bedroom home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with open desert views, beautiful sunsets and excellent bird watching from your back yard.
A spacious master suite with king bed, full bath and large walk in-closet is on the lower level. The upstairs includes 3 bedrooms, all with queen beds (one with queen and twin) and a large loft which includes a sectional/ottoman and a 50 inch LED TV with DVD player. There is also a full size futon in the living room.
As you enter, to the left is a den/sitting area with a queen size futon, many games and books. To the right, a championship pool table adorns the family room, with a table for games. There is also a foosball table to enjoy.
The fully equipped kitchen has granite counter-tops with service for 12. The dining area seats 8 comfortably and the kitchen bar seats 3. Wireless internet is also available.
A challenging hiking trail on Sombrero Peak is within walking distance. You will be near 2 major grocery stores, many restaurants, pizza places with children's play areas, horseback riding stables and close on/off to Interstate 10. Just 25 minutes north of the Tucson airport and 20 minutes to the University of Arizona campus. A new outlet mall just opened in 2017 and it is less than 5 miles away!!
You will also be just a short drive to the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson Studios through the scenic Saguaro National Park, 3 miles to the Pines golf course, and within 5 - 15 miles of many other courses – including Dove Mountain. The entire downstairs carpet was replaced in October 2017 with wood look porcelain tile!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here in a very convenient location. Floated in the pool daily and watched the birds. Kathy and Jerry were very accommodating with our check in and out time due to delayed flights. Master bedroom has a very comfortable bed and tv.

I highly recommend this home for your next Tucson stay. From the Welcome Basket (my kids loved the snacks), to fully stocked paper products (who does that anymore?), so many pool game options, and a gorgeous house meant for just as much inside fun as outside. My children ages 5 & 4 loved the den with children’s toys. My ten-year-old spent much time and slept in the loft upstairs. We have zero complaints at all. Thank you for making this reunion of two hero’s (my Purple Heart Marine Corp Veteran husband and the Corpsman who saved his life in Iraq 8 years ago). Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful home for this unforgettable trip.

Very scenic and perfect 👍 location for our trip. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by everyone and were in perfect condition. House was fantastic for everyone and everything we needed was supplied for our use. Good location for groceries, restaurants and travel for graduation in Tucson. Would stay again if in the area. This is a great home. Lots of room, well stocked, great pool and hot tub. Dark skies and star gazing at night. It’s near golf, the Huckleberry loop, grocery stores, restaurants and hiking. Short drive to Saguaro National Park. Kathy and Jerry are wonderful hosts and are very responsive. We highly recommend this property.

We enjoyed the house and pool very much. Very spacious for our group of 6. Great location to nearby shopping as well close to hiking trails. The kitchen had everything we could think of, especially the amount of condiments left in the pantry came in handy. The heated pool option came was great for the few cooler March days! Would certainly stay again here if we are a group of 6-8 !

This was our 5th stay at this beautiful, spacious home. The pool, spa, patio and fire pit in the back yard were amazing. It’s the best location, close to many amenities and yet tucked back into nature, surrounded by mountain views, desert cactus, and wild life. The communication with owners was great. Perfect! We will be back again!

We love our stays! The home is at the end of a cul-de-sac with the most beautiful views of the desert and "our" mountain. The home is spacious and well appointed with everything you might need.

We had a wonderful comfortable family reunion. Large home, perfect for young and old. Only one tiny step so our elderly mom could enter easily. We had a toddler and there were toys and safety gates available which we appreciated. Owners were very friendly and responsive. It rained a couple of days and the pool table was just what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at this property was great for our family. There was plenty of room for our big group. We enjoyed being backed up to the desert. It was quiet and had a great yard for bird watching and visiting. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed being able have a fire in the firepit. It was great to have toys for the kids. The fooseball table and pool table were a big hit. The owners were great to work with. Questions were answered promptly. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The property was beautiful with everything we needed and more to enjoy family time together. The welcome basket with snacks was such a nice touch since we had been traveling all day and were hungry. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a dinner for our extended family. We were able to enjoy my son’s wedding weekend without any hiccups with accommodations. I would definitely recommend!

Had a great time! Towels could have smelled better. Pool table was very nice but there was no chalk and the cues were not good. Kitchen was well supplied. Swimming pool was fantastic but could have used some floaties. Overall a very enjoyable stay!!

This home was in a great location at the end of a cul de sac in a nice quiet neighborhood. The pool and jacuzzi was wonderful, clean, and the perfect temperature. The kitchen had plenty of supplies/spices etc. The house was super spacious and represented well on the vrbo site. We would definitely stay here again.

We travel from Colorado to Tucson each March/April for golf, biking, hiking, pickleball and relaxation. This home is comfortable, well stocked, clean and in a great location. The heated pool and hot tub are clean and relaxing. It is close to the loop and hiking trails. Kathy is a great host and very responsive. We’ve already booked for next year. We highly recommend this home!

Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids) really loved our time at Kathy’s property! The house is in a beautiful and quiet neighbourhood and the view from the backyard is amazing! It felt like we were in the national park. The pool/hot tub was nice and warm and a huge hit with our group. The house was beautiful with more than enough space to accommodate us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. You can tell how much thought was put into accommodating their guests. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon!!

Our family of 6 (2 kids 8/10 and 2 grandparents) very much enjoyed this home. The pool was fantastic, location is perfect (feels like you are practically in the National Park West side). We found the owners to be very friendly and easy to work with. Would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our time at Kathy’s property. The house is deceptively large - there were lots of spaces for people (especially the kids!) to disappear into and not disturb others. The main space was great for the family to come together - a huge kitchen and family room that was super comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped and it was easy to cook or grill for 9. Despite the December rain and temperatures, the pool was a hit - the kids were in it for hours and the adults supervised from the hot tub! The location is amazing - the house is in a cute neighborhood but when you are out back you feel like you are in the National park. We saw wildlife everyday (and listened to the hyenas) and had amazing sunsets. It was easy to get to everything we wanted to see and to get groceries etc. Kathy was so helpful and we would definitely recommend staying here! The only very small thing to be aware of is that we found the beds in the two guest rooms more like doubles than queens, but we managed fine! Thanks Kathy!

The house is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of places to sleep with great mattresses. Garage available which was nice. Our family enjoyed our stay here with a grocery store right around the corner. Enjoyed meeting the owners on our way out. Communication was quickly responded to. Thank you!!!

Kathy is a great host who responded quickly to questions and made it very easy to check in to this wonderful home! It's at the end of the block in this super quiet neighborhood and the views from the backyard are extraordinary. Close to stores, shops and restaurants with everything you would need within a 5-10 minute drive. Well laid out with great amenities like the heated hot tub and pool. If you're looking for a great place to stay in Tucson this is it!

The home was exactly as advertised. The pool and hot tub were perfect and the views were incredible. Upon arriving, we could immediately tell how clean the house was. The kitchen was fully stocked with every cooking item we could need. I would highly recommend placing this house on the top of your list. So close to the city but the views felt like we were in the country!

This was the perfect place for our visit to Tucson. The house was lovely, spacious, and well stocked. The pool was a big draw as were views of the sunsets from the back porch. We put out bird seed and hummingbird food so we could watch birds. This is a special place!

This is our 3 rd time staying at this property and we LOVE it! The location is perfect. Everything you could possibly need is within minutes from the house. The pool and fire pit are great!! The pool table and football table make for great family time. We love coming to Tucson to meet up with our family from California. I recommend this house to anyone who want a great house in s great location
