I don’t know if William sent the snow for us- but it snowed every day and the location of Casa Moonlight was perfect to hit the mountain early and even come back to midday if necessary. Our pre-check in booklet with area recommendations was greatly appreciated and went above and beyond! Thank you! We can’t wait to stay again!

If having the best location then this is the perfect condo. If quality of linens and kitchen amenities matter then you might not be satisfied. The listing says newly renovated; and I think that is a stretch. It might have been renovated about five years ago or better. It did have all the basics you could need, it just needs some maintenance. Humidifiers did not work and we had to replace some of the light bulbs. Little things, but for the price you pay I expect more.

Location is amazing and wonderful views. Advertisement was accurate. A few simple little updates here and there could really tie this place in. 8 people would be to tight here. 6 would be comfortable. We had 8 planned and Fortunately 4 had to back out so having it to just us 4 was really ideal. We would absolutely stay here again

We had a great week sking. Great access to the slopes and ski in ski out was great for coming back during the day for lunch before heading back out to ski!!!

Another great stay at Moonlight. Perfect ski in/out location!

This is our group’s third year staying at Big Sky. In the past we have stayed at one of the properties affiliated with the resort. We absolutely loved staying at this location with such easy access to our favorite runs on Moonlight side. Having a full kitchen was a plus as well. The cabin had plenty of space for our group of two couples plus two friends. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lucked out with some amazing late season snow at Big Sky. Almost the entire resort was open with no lift lines. Skied for most of the week and did not hit a single icy patch.
Home was super convenient ski in/out. Would literally sit in the hot tub each night, sipping coffee and looking at Lone Mountain peak as sun set. My boys (16, 15 and 13) said it was the best ski trip we have taken.
House was very well appointed with all the kitchen cookware and gadgets we needed to eat most of our meals at home. Did splurge one night at the Lone Peak Ranch. Awesome meal but it was not cheap. Would definitely come back again.

Casa Moonlight is in the perfect location to enjoy ski in/ski out. Our family enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes, made great meals in the kitchen, and the conditions were perfect! Casa Moonlight could use some furniture updates and more kid friendly kitchen utensils but overall enjoyed our stay.

Excellent property located on a convenient spot on the mountain.

We had a wonderful stay. All the amenities and comforts of home, plus an amazing hot tub. Really nice to be able to spread out on 3 levels. Very easy walk to ski in/ski out at Moonlight lodge. Perfect location. We’ll definitely stay here again.

This condo is right next to Pony Express and Iron Horse lifts. Easy ski in/out with a private hot tub!!

Overall a great experience. You can’t beat strapping in 100 feet from your front door and hopping on the lift. Plenty of parking, nice additional amenities (humidifiers, extra heaters, other appliances), and very well suited for winter time skiing. Would recommend.

The property owner needs to be more communicative. Overall this is a good location with a beautiful view.

The location was great with beautiful deck views of Lone Peak. The hot tub was a great addition. Very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The condo is a short walk to the slope entrance but right there at the bottom of the Iron Wolf lift. We went with our two teenage nieces and it was nice having them in the upstairs bedroom and us in the lower bedroom. We also enjoyed skiing the Madison area - less crowded and great green and blue runs!

Wonderful location, enjoyed the views, ski-in/out, however the unit requires a deep cleaning - excessive dust - on main room fan, not able to turn on, fear of being covers in dust….cob-webs and grease abound. Bedding and kitchen are tired and need updating. 2 grills on the small back deck, one needs to be removed, completely broke. The one that “works” had to be light by hand - igniter broken?! Screen door off track as well as shower door in Master BR. No attention to detail by the property manager…

Great location, however the inside of the unit is in dire need of a deep cleaning, numerous repairs.

We didn't want to hassle with driving to parking or buying lunch at one of the lodges. This condo checked all the boxes and let us ski in/out and stop back for lunch. There is a full kitchen, an area for everyone to relax and hot tub. Count your beds/party since some will be sharing rooms or on a pull-out.

Loved this place and had quick response from the property manger. The coffee pot died and he brought a new one the next day.

Nice get away .Plan on at least one hour to get to your destination. You don't mind driving because of the beautiful scenery. We saw a family of elk , a moose one night driving up
to Big Sky.
Definitely felt that we were overcharged for cleaning fees and did not feel that it was Sanitized for covid. Just regular cleaning . Would definitely go back to Montana any day.
Just may look into other places to stay that do not have so many add on fees.

Nice property in the mountains
The casa moonlight has a great location in the mountains. You are about 5 minutes from Big Sky resort, and 10 minutes from the town square. Its quiet at night, with great biking and hiking trails and wonderful patio. The hot tub and mountain views are great. Inside the property is a little outdated, with electronics that do not work. It also lacks a few homely type feel to it. So you need to buy or bring your own things. However we enjoyed our stay at the casa moonlight.

Lovely unit, great views

Great ski in/ski out
The condo was comfortable and had great access to Iron House just a short walk up the driveway. We were there the last week the mountain was open and had the best ski conditions of our lives. Just perfect. The home has plenty of what you need to be comfortable (kitchen supplies, towels, TP, etc.) and a great hot tub that kids and adults both enjoyed. The only issue was the stove where the gas burners did not reliably light. It needs to be either repaired or replaced.

Spring Skiing 2021
The location of the property was great. ski in/out was perfect. The only issues with the property were one of the door wall mini blinds was broken and would not stay raised. I had to temporarily fix it to make is stay raised.
Also, 2 of the 4 burners on the stove would not lighte. Nor woudl the propane grill on deck.
Other than that the furniture was clean and very functional. The washer and dryer functioned well. The hot tub was great for after skiiing.

SKI IN/OUT
Location as advertised, a truly ski in ski out. A little bit of a delayed with check-in process. The condo/townhouse needs little repairs such as: blinds, windowsill, bathroom wet zones. Overall and enjoyable experience. Painless check-in. Cleaning should be more thorough.

Great location and everything necessary for an easy, comfortable stay was present. We hope to return to the area again

We just got back after a great 5 days in Big Sky. The condo location WAS awesome as other reviewers said and it really made our visit to be able to ski in/ski out. It's also very central on the mountain itself. We ate breakfast at the condo before skiing, lunch at the mountain base and were often too tired to go out after skiing so hard all day, that we lounged at the comfy condo at night--hot tub, fireplace on, cooked dinner at home. We ended up with TONS of snow the whole time were were there (after what we heard had been a fairly low-snow Dec/Jan.). We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers and one child. The family room furniture was a bit small-ish for us all to sit and watch tv comfortably but with everyone having their own devices, most wanted to watch their own show anyway! It fit 3 very comfortably for movie-watching. The chairs are oversized and could accommodate 2 people in each if you didn't mind snuggling, which we didn't. :0) It was so convenient to hang out skis outside the condo and undress from skiing right inside in the entryway. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend this condo to others! Until next time....
