About this house rental
Welcome to our Laguna Beach home. This is a terrific spot to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Laguna. There are three bedrooms (queen beds in two of them, two singles in the third), two bathrooms, and an extra room we use as a guest bedroom when we have visitors. The kitchen, dining room, living room, one bedroom and front deck all have nice ocean views; the other rooms look out over the lush garden. There are hardwood floors throughout.
The kitchen and bathrooms are all recently renovated with new appliances, granite, slate and tile. The backyard is fully landscaped with a large patio area, BBQ and marquee. We have broadband internet as well as full cable television, stereo etc. The community pool and tennis courts are 1 minute walk at the end of the street. There is parking in the driveway for two cars (as well as on-street parking), plus beach chairs, towels and boogie boards.

We loved our time in Laguna at the home! Million dollar view and the location cannot be beat!

We enjoyed our month-long stay in Laguna Beach. The rental had everything we needed, including a fully enclosed back yard for our dog. Only a couple of blocks from main beach, I walked the dog there every morning. The entrance to the house includes some uneven steps, so they were a bit of a challenge for my 78-year-old husband, but everything else was fine., and we appreciated Chris checking in on us after we arrived.

Wonderful stay
We were very fortunate to stay at Chris place in December, for our vacation in Laguna Beach. The location of the house if wonderful : 10 minute walk to main beach, lap pool just around the corner, and a short stroll to all the shops and restaurants. That said, it is on a very quiet dead end street, lined with lovely houses and gardens.
The house inside is very very well maintained, spacious, bright, clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed spending most of our evenings in its very relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was a pleasure to use, with very nice pots and pans, and everything else you might need.
The front deck has a beautiful ocean view and we enjoyed watching the sunset almost every night. The back garden is a lovely place to have coffee in the morning, and enjoy the morning sun.
Chris was wonderful to deal with right from the start, very responsive and quick to reply, making sure we had all we needed.
We only had one regret : not being able to stay an extra month...

Laguna Beach
This house is a gem in one of the most amazing places. Laguna Beach has all of the features and luxuries of a Southern California beach community, without the pretense. I love that the houses are all unique, from funky cottages to the behemoth mansion, and everything in between. The people have a casual attitude and the shops have a very approachable characteristic. You are also close enough to do day trips to San Diego, Del Mar, Carlsbad (Legoland), Orange County cities and Los Angeles.
This house is special as it gives you easy walking access to downtown and Main Beach, but it also gives you the serenity of a peaceful retreat. The street is quiet and you have ample parking (a nice thing to have in Laguna) and the backyard is tranquil. The views from the front deck confirm why you want to stay in a beach town. The kitchen/dining area is large enough for the whole family to hang out while making meals and meals can easily be transferred to the deck at the spur of the moment to enjoy the sunsets.
There’s plenty of sleeping configurations to suit our family. The house is quaint, but very comfortable and the house is stocked with the items we need to have a comfortable vacation. We can’t wait to go back next year

The Perfect California Cottage
We loved our three-month stay. The house itself was very well maintained and outfitted with a well-equipped kitchen, a front deck with an ocean view, and a spacious backyard. The location was fantastic -- right next to a community pool good for laps and children, and a quick walk to downtown with a library, community center (with lots of children's classes), restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. Chris the owner was extremely helpful. The only awkward thing about the house is that you have to walk through one of two bedrooms or through the backyard to get to the master bedroom in the back of the house, but in the end this was a small inconvenience for all the benefits this house offered. We hope to return soon for another great stay!

Fabulous Rental
Our family has spent many happy days in this home. Highlights include preparing dinners in the large open kitchen, eating inside or out overlooking the ocean, margaritas on the deck, short strolls to downtown or to Main Beach, tennis at the courts only a block away, and relaxing with a book in the back yard, knowing that the kids couldn't escape. Multiple sleeping options including the four twins worked well for our family since our group often varies

Laguna Life
We have been staying at this property for over 10 years, it is our home away from home while in California. We love being part of the Laguna Life.
The house is newly decorated in 2013 and is pleasantly modern and uncluttered. The kitchen is bright and a joy to work in. A friendly neighbour is knowledgeable about the house and very helpful if any issues arise.
We also enjoy the balcony with it’s Ocean views, cooling breezes and large shade tree. We watch for the “Green Flash” nightly as the sun disappears into the Pacific. Sometimes we believe that we actually see it.
The house is centrally located to town and we always enjoy walking down to town for coffee & a stroll on the Beach.
Laguna is a very easy town to mellow into and live like a local. We enjoy the Art Galleries and all the shops in town. the Saturday AM Market is a must.
Trader Joe’s is 10 minutes north on the Coast highway sat Crystal Cove, and the Outlets are less than an hour south at Carlsbad.
I would highly recommend this property and Laguna Beach as a great home base for a California visit.
