Our spacious 7 bedroom villa is located at the prestigious Emerald Island Resort which is only 3 miles from Disney.
The resort is a gated community with security guards on duty 24/7 which means extra safety for your family. Its outstanding amenities include a 4000 sq ft club house with a heated swimming pool and spa, a fitness center, a sauna / steam room, a computer room with Internet access, and a video games room. There are also volleyball and tennis courts, a children play area, 11 acres of woodland with nature trails for walking, jogging and cycling.
The house boasts 2 Master Bedroom En-suites with Custom King Size beds and matching furniture, 1 Bedroom with a king size bed, 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 2 bedrooms each with 2 twin beds, 1 bedroom with bunk beds. The villa can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests.
The living room, family room, dinning room, breakfast area, fully equipped kitchen, and game room on the first floor provide ample space for cooking, dinning, entertainment, and relaxing.
Stepping outside of the breakfast area you will see a covered lanai/deck where you can enjoy the beautiful Florida sunset or watch your children having a wonderful time in the swimming pool. There is a safe net around pool.
Driving about 3 miles from the house, you will arrive at the Walmart Supercenter, 2855 N Old Lake Wilson Rd, Kissimmee, FL 34747 and find most of what you need during your stay.
If you love to play golf, there are over 30 golf courses within a 30 minute drive, including Mystic Dunes (just across the street), Orange Lake Country Club, Falcon's Fire, Disney Courses, and Orange County National.

The property was just ok, nothing special. Pool water could have been a bit cleaner. The house needs more towels for the amount of people that can stay. And the air conditioner wasnt allowed to go below 74 And wasn working for a whole say either.

Fantastic home that had everything we needed, so comfortable and roomy and a big plus was the heated pool and spa. If I had to score this house from 1 to 10 I would give it an 11. If you want accommodations near Disney this would be ideal. Unfortunately we did not. The address on the Vrbo listing is wrong so our business off sight meeting was much farther off sight than we had planned and nowhere near the airport like we thought.

My Friends and I had a great time here on our trip. The house was perfect for our stay. Good communications with the owner before and during our stay. Some minor details were discovered upon arrival, but we just let the owner know of them and there were no issues. Pool and hot tub worked great. The security at the gate house were also very friendly and helpful. We will def be looking forward to coming back and staying here again!

Excellent communication with the owner Andy - all enquiries throughout answered quickly and fully. Property was just right for our party of 7 adults and 3 children. It is a bit tired but that did not matter as everything you need is supplied. Pool great size with hot tub. Excellent location for all the parks etc but roadworks and volume of traffic on the main HW192 don't help.. Property manager called and he was very friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property

We pay almost 5k for a week. But this house had a lot of issues. It had cockroaches , lots of broken things, mold on the showers, the kitchen had grease coming out the filter of the hood when we where cooking, the pool and spa where not working properly. The pool had toys with sharp wires coming out of them. It was just the worst experience we had. I spend my time changing light bulbs and unclogging the drain in the bathrooms. The manager was real rude. He told us if what we wanted was money back. I told him that he should come in the house so I can show him all the issues that I have mentioned but he did not care. The host offer us a refund of 200. Which I think it’s not enough for something that is not listed has it should be. When you pay almost 5k for a week in a house you at least think that is a clean house. And I have photos. I wish I could post them so everyone can see and don’t get scammed like we did.

Enjoyed our stay
The house was large enough to very comfortably accommodate our party of 12. The kids throughly enjoyed playing in the private pool and game room.
Minor issues (broken dining room chairs, couch leg, etc.) were quickly addressed by the owner and property manager. The downstairs master was warm at night, but other than that we enjoyed the close proximity to the parks, restaurants and shopping.

Great location while in Orlando for a Disney trip.
Andy is a great host, great communication. We rented the house for a family reunion/Disney trip, great location. Easy access to restaurants, entertainment, grocery stores.

Perfect for our group
We had eight adults staying here and going in different directions every day. This place was exactly as pictured and described. Plenty of room to spread out. Pool was very clean and the perfect temperature for 90+ degree days in June. (We chose to not get it heated and we’re glad!) Communication was very quick. Some other reviews have mentioned issues with the condition of the house. No, it is not a brand new house with everything pristine and new but it was certainly clean and we had no issues with the condition. It was a perfect place for a large group. Just know that you need to hit the store and stock up on supplies for your time there. I would not hesitate to book this again.

Family vacation
Overall our stay was amazing. Nice to have a place to go to after all day at Disney. You know, your not tired, don’t want to set the world on fire but if you were in a hotel room you would sit in a tiny room stare at each other and end up going to sleep as there is nothing else to do. Not this place! Pool great, filter needs work but we called property manager and he was on it and pool was cleaned right away! Hot tub, every single one of us enjoyed soaking our dead feet after a long day! Everyone felt very comfortable during our stay. I think the only issue we had was the cleanliness of the house. It appeared that the carpet runner was not cleaned or vacuumed. We found fake nails in one of the dresser drawers and fruit loops under one of the beds. I put the negative in the middle because it really was a lovely house and we all felt comfortable there. This house was VERY close to all the parks! When I first arrived I was not sure I was a vacation house person. At the end of vacation I now know I am definitely a house person and will definitely do it again. Thank you for a wonderful epic vacation spot.

"Laundry List" of Issues
We ran into a lot of unexpected issues with the property. First, the community front office charges $20 for the card to open the front gate and park your vehicle (which seems unnecessarily high). Within the house, we noticed a lot more. The walls in the living room seem to be covered with (what looks like) spit or grease. The kitchen appliances were not clean, and two main ceiling lights in the kitchen were broken. We found that the master bedroom on the first floor did not have good air circulation, and there were no ceiling fans. Incidentally, the "rules" of the house stated that the air conditioning was not permitted to be below 74, and that isn't really cool enough. Towels were provided, but the house is listed as designed to sleep 16 guests, and there were not enough towels for that many people. The playroom was uninhabitable. Just filthy. The couch was dirty and torn up. Same with the walls and carpet. There was a musty smell. The pool table leg was broken. Our biggest complaint was that the washing machine was broken - shaking violently and making a thundering noise. We had to ask for it to be fixed twice before a new machine was brought in. Other than that, it was pretty nice. Keyless entry was very convenient, and it was quite close to WDW, restaurants, fuel, and grocery stores.
We enjoyed our stay, but we've certainly had better experiences with VRBOs. 4 out of 10

Fun place
We had a great vacation with family! The house was within 30 min of the parks, the pool and hot tub were amazing, space/rooms in the house were great and the community pool/mini golf were so fun! On the downside, the floors were pretty dirty, the chairs by the pool were not in great shape, the shower upstairs filled up even after the prop mgr tried fixing it, and some outlets were not covered in the downstairs master (prop mgr took care of this when brought to his attention). Overall, it met our needs and it was a fun place to relax after a long day.

Perfect for a large group
The home was perfect for our large party. It had plenty of room for all of us to spread out. Communication from the owner was exceptional as we had a few questions before hand that were answered promptly. Also the home is located in a great location. It is in a quiet neighborhood but not to far from all the tourist attractions.

Nice house, plenty roomy, but had some issues
We should have been notified that we had to pay for each vehicle to pay $20 fee to stay on the property. The property could have been cleaner. We had a hard time finding towels. We finally found them in the dryer. There was no dishwash detergent, no hand soap. The front door was difficult to figure out how to lock. The neighborhood: you are VERY close to your neighbors, and some of them got very loud. Other than that we had a good time and everything was the way it was described in the listing.

Great house, great resort, perfect for our entire family.
We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The house does need some tlc and upkeep but a great stay for what we needed. Again I have no complaints, however with what my mom paid for this rental the pool, spa and grill should have been included in the rate.

Great home for family vacation!
The house was perfect for what we needed for a family of 16. The location was excellent. Andy was terrific in responding to my messages in a timely manner both prior to staying and while staying. His property manager was also excellent in the two times I had to call him about something needed.

Disney here we come!
Our main reason for our trip was to visit Disney World and this location provided easy access. Our Thanksgiving dinner was wonderful with plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Large and fun
We were here just a few days and it was a great place to come back eat and relax. Although some updating is needed, the kitchen had plenty for our large family to eat here and sleep. We would stay here again.

Wonderful place
Great place. Well layer out and very roomy. It would have been nice to have some amenities such as dish washer soap, paper towels and toilet paper for more then a day. Other then that I would stay there again. The cleaning issue I had was the ceiling vents in the kitchen were dirty over the food prep area. The ceiling around the vents were brown and black in spots. I would have liked some cleaning supplies to do a mid week cleaning.

Nice house but needs a little sprucing up.
The property is not at the address given in VRBO but the listing is accurate in all other aspects. The rooms and pool were all nice. None of the bedrooms have ceiling lights and are only lit by small table lamps. The kitchen worked well for us as we ate all our meals in the house. The owner was easy to work with and local agent, while new, was good to work with also. The house itself is showing its age and needs some basic work to be a superior home.

Much of the house was great. Kitchen was very good except that there was not a pan large enough to boil past for 8 people (we had to use the two largest pots for that and it barely fit). There were two floor fans in the house but they were not goo quality. Washer and dryer were great. 3 of the four beds were great but one couple ended up sleeping in one of the "kid" rooms because the beds were more comfortable (they also had the room that stayed too warm). Everything I reached out to the owner about was met with the fact that what I thought was missing was stated in the rental agreement and not included. We spent some time in the hot tub and swimming pool. I paid to have the hot tub heated. It took almost an hour to heat up so it was disappointing that the controller was manual only. For those who have extremely high expectations of cleanliness, you should note that the showers had mold in them and the carpets could really use a deep cleaning.Based on the price and location of this property, I am happy with our choice even though we had some challenges.

The house has seven rooms and five bathrooms but the best part is the pool. My kids loved the pool. they needed to swim everyday, even after the amusement parts.
