All around great place to stay for a ski weekend. Free shuttle service was nice but we actually found ourselves taking the 5-10 min walk to steamboat base. Office was super nice and let us check in early so we could put our stuff inside before our appointment at strawberry hot springs! Space was clean and more spacious than it looked in the pictures. 4 bathrooms was super convenient for our group of 8.

This unit was exactly what we needed for our off-season stay. We are repeat customers because of the four hot tubs and indoor/outdoor pool. Easy access, nice parking garage, comfortable unit. We only wish we could afford it during ski season!

The condo at Trappeur's Lodge was very nice! Clean and comfortable. Great location. Customer service was awesome! Travis and Chase made sure we had directions to pick up our keys and that our check in went smooth. They touched base with us multiple times to see if we needed anything and that we were enjoying our stay.

This is a great place. Exactly as advertised. Management was prompt with any requests. Would recommend.

Our family had a fabulous trip. The hosts were incredibly helpful with accommodating us despite a water leak issue that shut down the condo for our first 2 days. They arranged another space and took care of all the relocating of bags and groceries so we could enjoy our day skiing. The amenities are top notch, especially the ski shuttle and personal shuttle available to dinners.

Nice Place, little chaotic checking in, Needed few little repairs, Care wouldn't fit into Underground garage with ski racks. Nice to have 4 bed , 4 bath. Pool and hot tubs were very nice.
4.6
The place sleeps 8 but the dining table only had 6 chairs.
Cleaning staff needs to spend time reorganizing the kitchen. There was no place to put food or other items you brought. Also, oddly had 2 microwaves.
Check in info came late and directions weren’t great.
Nice furnishings and good beds. Nice location

I would love to give a raving review for this property but unfortunately our experience didn’t allow for it. While the space itself was great (and location amazing!) the service was very disappointing. We had a group of skiers coming in to experience steamboat from all over the US. I received a text the morning of our check in that our condo was needed to be used to fix a leak in the complex. They upgraded us to a larger place but told us we needed to move to our originally booked condo Saturday morning. Our group planned to ski Friday-Sunday and unfortunately from the move of apartments we didn’t get to the mountain Saturday until the rush hit. We missed close to 3 hours of skiing (we all woke up around 7 to pack the condo up). We understand things happen but they cut into our time together and in return offered us a whopping $150 in rebate. They did explain that they were offering us other services (like a shuttle we didn’t use and a bigger condo we didn’t really need) but it was a big disappointment to miss out on what we were originally there for (skiing) and to have our time disrespected like that.
Again property was good. Customer service and treatment was not.

Our place was amazing!! Great location and plenty of room.
We were given 2 parking passes but had four cars and we were told by itrip we could park the other two cars out the rodeo parking lot. Well there is no overnight parking allowed at the rodeo parking lot. Our car could have been towed. I recommend not telling people to park there!!!! We were able to park our other two cars at Trappers Crossing.

This condo was the perfect amount of space for our family vacation. We encountered a few problems but a handyman was quickly sent to fix some of them. The kitchen was fully stocked with tons of pots and pans, dishes, utensils and many other things. I would suggest washing and painting the walls because they are pretty dirty. The ceilings in the showers need a good cleaning as well. The good outweighed any of the issues we encountered though and we appreciated that the condo was pet-free. The pools and hot tubs were heavenly so we definitely used them as often as we could. Overall, we would book this condo again as the price point was perfect for us!
4.6
The condo was great! It had everything we needed and was really easy to get to everything we wanted to do. The amenities were really nice and wished we had more time to enjoy them. It would be a great location to ski in the winter.

Great location but condo needs some TLC
The location and the community were great! The HOA put on a happy hour and ice cream social that was a lot of fun.
The unit was super clean, plenty of room to fit 2 families. The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable that no one was able to get a good night sleep. We did request new pillows and they were delivered in a timely manner which helped a little bit. The couch was so run down that the armrests essentially broken. The owner should spend some money on new mattress, pillows and sofa. If those items were addressed and the mattresses from the 1960’s were replaced I would start again.

Perfect place!
We absolutely loved staying at this condo. The owners provided so many thoughtful details such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, dish soap, and hand soap. We were also pleased to discover complimentary use of the laundry room in the building! Overall, we loved this place!

Nice place
The unit is on the smaller size, but very comfortable. Location is amazing, close to everything.

Great layout for families with each room having a designated bathroom. The property was very nice and great amenities. We loved the pool! Downside was driving a few miles down the road to get checked in and handed keys. The wicker kitchen chairs were also falling apart and making a mess all weekend. Otherwise I would recommend it.

there was 1 towel to each bathroom, the unit itself was good. But managment needs to nake sure each unit is properly stocked.

Great Location - A Few Drawback but Worth it
Overall this unit is great - the resort location & amenities are great. It is a bit smaller than it looks in pictures so if you have the max amount of people staying it may feel tight. It's also not the most kid friendly - the building has a couple steps to get to the elevator (a struggle with a stroller), the spiral staircase is a hazard for little ones and while it was so nice to have a porch it also was a hazard for little ones with the railing gaps. Overall, we'd happily stay again but a few things to keep in mind!

Steamboat condo
Pros-4 BRs and 4 Baths. Shuttle service to mountain and downtown excellent! Running often and very timely. Condo was clean and had thermostats in every room. Nice view of mountain. Gas fireplace.
Cons- Loft gets extremely hot despite it being winter; resorted to turning on the bathroom exhaust to pull hot air out and opening balcony door. Condo sleeps 10, we had 7 and still didn’t have enough seating around dining room table. Also needed more glasses, water, wine and highball. Kitchen a bit disorganized, pans in 3 places.
The condo space seems more suited to a group of 6 or less.

Highly recommend for a ski trip. Loved the resort shuttles (no need to rent a car) and multiple hot tubs. Property is well kept.
Ski locker handy. Laundry in basement was free and convenient.
Condo can sleep 8 easily, but living space might be tight with that many people. Would stay here again!

Pleasant family vacation
We enjoyed our stay at 1306 Trappeur’s Lodge very much. The unit has four bedrooms, each with it’s “own” bathroom (one is outside the bedroom on the main level). The loft bedroom is open, but still private. I think there is also a pull-out sofa, but we didn’t need it. The kitchen and bathrooms are all well-stocked with supplies. The gas fireplace was nice, and there are several TVs with cable. Ski lockers are on the same level, just outside the room, and easily contained five skiers’ skis and poles. They have an outdoor heated pool, three outdoor 6-person hot tubs, and an indoor hot tub. Shuttle service to the slopes runs about every ten minutes, departing just outside the office, perhaps 100 steps from the unit. If you wanted to walk to the slopes, it’s just about five blocks away. The office staff were very helpful. A small grocery store and liquor store are just two blocks away. Strawberry Park Hot Springs (reservations required) is just ten miles away. Four-wheel-drive is mandatory in the winter, but the road is well-maintained.

I read past reviews before leaving this one. I reached out to the property manager via email ( as they requested ) two times regarding our issues during our stay. I received and automated response stating
"Thank you for the feedback. We wish you would have reported issues upon arrival as we request so we could have sent someone to fix those."
Here were the issues:
- Master bath had an orange soap scum covering the bottom of the shower liner.
- Couch and Chairs had the worst smell, very old and dirty. we put a sheet on the couch so we could sit down.
- Carpet is very dirty with spots all over
- Loft ceiling fan has a 1/2 inch thick of dirt on each blade which fly's off and all over the bed.
- Loft bathroom wasn't cleaned before our visit. Soap scum all over.
- all extra blankets were so smelly we couldn't use any of them
- Some of the towels were used and put back. I am thinking the cleaning people assumed they weren't used because they were neatly folded under the sink. I am not even going to mention what was on one.
- Kitchen, Dirty dishes were in the cabinets, this dishwasher doesn't work well. Lights in kitchen all flicker and go out often.
I am sorry to mention all of this, I did reach out and expected a response to our issues.
IMO, owner needs to purchase all new furniture and some appliances. Needs an overall update throughout.

It was a great place for our two families! Very quiet. Only complaint is that we came in July and the place was pretty hot even with the fans going. We would come back here again tho!

#1306 2800 Village Lane
The condo is in a great location for ski hill access and is part of a larger complex with great amenities. The pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and weight room (albeit small) are very nice. We've stayed at this complex before, but in a different and much newer building. This particular condo needs some TLC. Bathrooms/showers are super small, kitchen has room for only one person, paint and trim is scuffed in many places, it's not well ventilated (hot in summer), and beds and bed linens were similar to a much less expensive motel. The couches and carpet have visible stains. Good thing is you can sleep 6 people comfortably. The location and overall complex are great; this particular condo needs some love if 5-star prices are going to be charged.

Spring Ski Weekend
This property is in a great location with easy access to the ski area by foot or with a quick shuttle. The on demand shuttle is an excellent feature that makes accessing downtown Steamboat stress free. The property matched the listing to a T and easily slept 8 adults with plenty of room for us to spread out. We will definitely look up this listing next time we plan a Steamboat trip.

Lights in the kitchen flicker, was not cleaned before we got there, weed and broken glass pipes on patio and upstairs loft, fireplace kept breaking, lost water for a half day. Only good is the location and communication even though they didn’t seem like they cared. Would not stay here again.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and comfortable and had great transportation to the mountain and around town. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice too. I would definitely stay here again!
