About this house rental

This beach house is the perfect place to spend a relaxing beachside vacation. (Minimum stays vary depending on the season. Just click on RATES to see the calendar. 10% discount on 7 night rentals all year long!) With ocean views through the wall of windows, comfortable furnishings and perfectly sized bedrooms, you, your friends and family can kick back and catch up at your leisure. No smoking anywhere on site. Custom blinds, hardwood floors and other features not typical to a vacation home. Dine al fresco on the covered deck and watch the waves roll in, walk to the beach to feel the sand between your toes or make the short drive to downtown Galveston to enjoy all of the local shops, restaurants and attractions the island has to offer. We are pet friendly, but we work hard to keep this house immaculate! If dogs aren't your thing, don't worry. You would never know we are pet friendly! Recently upgraded to high speed 5G internet if you need to do a little work while here.
Main Level
Living Room has a 55" flat screen TV with YouTube TV and Firesticks, comfy couches and incredible windows facing the ocean. Indoor dining area has seating for 6 at table plus breakfast bar/counter seating for 2.
Kitchen has a gorgeous stainless steel refrigerator and more dishes, glassware and cookware than you could ever need!
Master Bedroom has a queen size tempurpedic bed for the best rest you've had in years! Beautiful furnishings and a wall mounted flat screen TV (with Firestick) make this the perfect place to lay your head.
Guest Bedroom has a full bed with a twin loft above it and a second twin bed against the opposite wall. With it's own wall mounted flat screen TV (with Firestick). This is the perfect 2nd bedroom for guests, kids or the grandparents.
Bath - Newly tiled floor with cute "beachy" furnishings and plenty of cushy towels.
Covered Deck - With patio table/seating for 6 to enjoy your meals outdoors. PLUS 2 of the most perfect lounging chairs we could find. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening meal with the sounds of the ocean in your ears.

Ground Level
Driveway - Fully paved with parking for 4 cars.
Covered Area - Includes a patio table, BBQ grill, outdoor shower and access to garage space with washer/dryer and space for beach stuff. Though we can't guarantee what will be here at the time of your visit, you are welcome to use any coolers, rafts or other beach items in this space.
Yard - Backyard is fenced for Fido and gives him plenty of room to run around and play. Front yard has ample room for horseshoes or washers. The palm trees in both the front and back provide the perfect atmosphere for your beach vacation.
Other Features - Central A/C & Heat, Ceiling Fans, Hardwood Floors, 5G high speed internet & Custom Blinds.
As you will see, this is not your typical vacation house. We have lovingly furnished it with comfort in mind. We can tell you from experience, there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying a drink on the deck while listening to the sounds of the waves and the seagulls. We are a short 1/2 block to the beach! We would be happy to have you enjoy our home.

Our family enjoyed staying here and we all liked the proximity to the beach. The kids and I were surprised to find so many sandcastle toys and they got to go boogie boarding for the first time! The house is clean and well maintained, thank you!

We had a great stay at Somebeach. It was great for a family of four. We enjoyed being in walking distance of the beach so we could get out of the sun in the heat of the day.

Wonderful beach house so close to the sand! We appreciated the ease of check in as well as cleanliness during our stay and was happy we could bring my fur baby. We rode bikes in the neighborhood and felt safe with awesome neighbors as well.

Fabulous location and deck! Beaches were clean, and loved that we could walk to the beach ( maybe 100 steps). The fenced in backyard was perfect for our fur baby. The owner even provided a nice garden hose for washing off our dog. “Some beach” was very comfortable (4 adults), but we spent most of our time either on the deck or at beach! Great family vacation, will definitely come back!!

We only had a short stay, but had a wonderful time at SomeBeach. It's a really short walk to the beach (1.5 blocks) on a very quiet road. The almost-4 year old granddaughter had the most delightful time on her first time at a beach. Even though the weather was cool, there was enough to do (Galveston Children's Museum when not collecting shells). Thank-you to our hosts for all of their help and renting out this great home.

The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sturdy and comfortable chairs. We brought our dog. I really appreciated the back yard for letting him run.

The house was very clean, had lots of towels and other needed items. You can see and hear the waves from the front deck and are only steps away from the beach. This house is on the western half of the island, so not busy. But we were there during the winter. Hosts were very easy to work with and very responsive when we had any questions.

They allow dogs which was perfect for us and was proving difficult to find. The location is fantastic, it's a very short walk to the beach. If you don't mind a long beach walk there is a beach bar called the Tipsy Turtle which do amazing Nacho's. The enclosed area for your dog at the back of the property was a bonus which our dog loved and was incredibly clean. Can't wait to go back.

My adult son and I, together with our pups enjoyed beautiful weather during our recent stay (10.16.23 thru 10.23.23). The property, complete with fenced in backyard, is literally steps from beautiful Bermuda Beach. The living quarters met our needs perfectly, and the fully functional kitchen, dining area, living area with big screen TV, together with a washer, dryer and an outside shower, were very much appreciated. We thank our hosts, Lea and Rhona for keeping the property up and look forward to returning next year.

Great location! Cozy home had everything we needed and only steps from the beach. You can see and hear the waves from the upstairs deck, and restaurants close by. Communication from the owner was great. We had a great stay! Would book again.

Very clean house. You can see the beach from the balcony. 2 block walk to the beach. Has a gated in backyard for your dog. Our stay was fantastic. We brought coffee and filters as recommended and had to go grab k cups but only because I am not a pumpkin spice coffee person. They had upgraded to a kerig. They think of everything you could need from board games to toys for the beach. We absolutely plan on staying here again.

My mom, sister, niece and I stayed here for our annual girls weekend, and we had the most wonderful time. The house is located in a cozy section of Galveston, right on the beach. It was clean and had plenty of space for us 4 girls. We enjoyed dinner and games, along with morning coffee and reading on the front deck. The kitchen is quite spacious, and the hosts were accessible and very helpful. We enjoyed ourselves very much, and I would love to come back and stay again!

This property is perfect for an easy beach vacation with the family pets. It's simple, clean and well-loved. The owner's are easy to reach and very responsive. The only major concern is the extraordinarily SLOW internet. My husband had a difficult time with it. It would not be possible to work remotely from this location.

My family and I recently returned from a 4 night, 3 day stay at Some Beach. Wonderful experience! Walked in and you could smell the clean! Very clean! These are NOT complaints, just info sharing. Bedrooms run a little warm. Again, not a complaint. We stayed in Aug. during a heat wave and my actual home has rooms that run warmer than others. We use fans at home for noise, so we had already those packed and they helped. Secondary bedroom had a fan in the closet. So just sharing for others. :) We absolutely loved the deck and spent a lot of time out there. My pups also loved the deck and the fenced backyard. SO wonderful! Super easy to get to the beach too. It's literally around the corner about a block away. We are already talking about returning.
