About this house rental
Newly updated and large well-appointed ranch style home on a beautiful cul-de-sac street in a well-maintained neighborhood. Recently remodeled and furnished throughout and tastefully done, the home features a spacious king bed master bedroom with a 40 inch HD Smart TV and a private en-suite bathroom. The second guest room features a queen bed. The third guest room is for all the kids as this room has a full/twin/twin combo trundle bed and is able to sleep up to 4! This room has a computer desk with wifi notebook computer and printer to print boarding passes. Bonus - this room also has a 32 inch Smart TV with Sony Playstation for the kids, doubtless that they will love it. Both the guest rooms share a full cabana bath with an exterior door to the pool. The home is fully supplied with quality bedding, pillows, and linens. The laundry area is equipped with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, because everyone enjoys ironing while on vacation. The family room and living room have 60 inch and 48 inch High Def Smart TVs respectively. While there is no cable or Comcast service hooked up, the TVs are smart internet connected so Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO at Home streaming services may be available through your own subscription. There is also a Roku streaming device, Blue Ray DVD player/video library, and Bluetooth soundbar to listen to music from your laptop or smartphone. There is no land telephone line in the house. The well-appointed kitchen features full appliances and an easy access pass-through window to the covered patio and pool deck. The outside patio has a comfortable casual furniture set with loveseat, club chairs, tables, and chaise lounge chairs for poolside sun. Also available poolside is a 4 seat table and propane grill ready for your fresh catch. The professionally maintained in-ground heated pool is the perfect way to relax after a day on the golf course. There's an attached 2 car garage with space available for your car and Harley while the driveway is large enough to fit your center console or your Prevost RV. (I do keep my Ford truck parked at the end of the driveway.) Included in the garage is a pressure washer to rinse down your boat after its been in the salt water. High speed WiFi, full security system, beach cruiser bicycles with locks, Pack N Play portable crib, high chair, infant car seat, pool toys, some snorkle equipment, beach chairs, insulated drink coolers, board games, skimboards, and boogieboard are also available for your use. We lived in Hobe Sound/Stuart many years ago, still have family that lives in the area.
Lots of family time, the host was outstanding, the home was beautiful. We stayed at the house, grilling and played at the pool. Maybe went out to dinner 2 times with family.

We have stayed at numerous rental homes before but never had we experienced a home as nice, up to date, and clean as this one. Great home with everything you need and a super responsive and reasonable host. Thank you Dave for an amazing stay - it was some much needed time with our Hobe Sound family and the perfect place for it. We will definitely be back.

We are exploring different parts of the country for potential relocation and wanted to experience Florida summer weather at a home near the beach with a pool. On paper this home checked all of our boxes and in person our expectations were more than met. Dave and Julie are very thoughtful hosts. The home is exactly as advertised, but more than that the home was been provisioned to ensure guests have everything they need to have a delightful stay in the area. The restaurant and entertainment suggestions were spot on. We'd definitely use this property again

We can’t say enough about how perfect our visit was. We were traveling to Hobe Sound from California as babysitters of our 6-week old and 22-month old grandsons so our daughter and son-in-law ( traveling from BC) could attend her former college roommate’s wedding on Jupiter Island. Our location was TERRIFIC - about 10 minutes away from the bridge to the island venue - but beyond that, the beautiful home we stayed in accommodated our every need. The home is so comfortably appointed and is decorated in a very welcoming fashion that makes you feel like it’s YOUR home. We are a very tall family but the beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms very spacious so each family group could have some “space” as they needed it. Beautiful shell beaches were a quick drive away - plenty of sand toys in the garage! - but there were bikes we could also use. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and the few neighbors we saw in passing were friendly. The large yard and pool is a great size to run around and play/swim in as a change from the ocean. Even the pool toys were already inflated! Absolutely spotless overall and a fantastic kitchen. Prior to our visit, we had terrific, responsive communication from Dave and a welcome bottle of wine greeted us in our arrival. He also had a list of restaurant and activity suggestions that were extremely helpful. It was a very special, very precious time together and this lovely family home played a major role in creating what will be a treasured memory. We really hope to return again. It was just a fantastic stay, one that my husband categorically stated was the absolutely BEST VRBO experience we have had to date, and we’ve had some great ones. We stayed at Dave's place for a week, and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect for us because it was halfway between my husband's parents home and his sister's home. The rental was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting around the large island in the kitchen, swimming in the heated pool, and relaxing on the covered patio. We will definitely be back!

This place was so well stocked with the basics. We really appreciated not having to run to the store immediately for those things. The house was clean, neat and comfortable. Everything is well maintained. We enjoyed the pool. There is plenty of space to stretch out with a family room and a living room both with large sofas. There were notes left around for you so that any questions were answered before you even thought of them. The neighborhood is quiet and seems very family and dog friendly. We had a wonderful stay and would certainly try and book this property if we were vacationing in that part of Florida again.

This house was perfect for our family of 5 (me, my husband and 3 teenagers). It’s not often that my husband instantly says that he’d return somewhere; but this was the exception. We LOVED it. You definitely need a vehicle though.

It is strange that there are so many positive reviews of this property and its owner because our experience was very different.
Prior to our arrival, Dave indicated that if there were any issues with the rental house, that we should contact him. According to Dave, the house was supposed to be clean the day of our arrival.
Once we arrived, we started to unpack and settle into the house. While unpacking, we noticed dust on the furniture, bedsheets, and blinds. When we checked the pool, it was uncovered and dirty. We saw a lot of leaves and debris throughout and at the bottom of the pool. The pool wasn’t usable in the condition it was in.
When we called Dave to express our concerns, he was rude, condescending, and refused to do anything regarding these issues. He seemed put off, unapologetic, and agitated that we called him expressing our concern regarding the current state of the house. He didn’t want to address these items.
Although the condition of the house was less than desirable, we expressed to him that we were willing to clean the house ourselves, but we needed him to send someone to clean the pool.
From that point, Dave demanded that we leave the house as soon as possible and that he would fully refund our money. He also said that the cleaning lady was on her way to the house to prepare for the next guest and that we have to leave immediately.
When Julie, the cleaning lady, arrived, we showed her the dust, and she acknowledged it. She admitted that she must have missed it. However, Dave did not want to hear about it and forced us to leave the house in one hour. It is likely that Julie misinforms Dave about how clean the house and pool really is.
After we notified Dave that we left the house, he didn’t follow through with his word. Instead of cancelling the reservation and fully refunding our money, he edited the reservation to make it look like we stayed for one night so that he could keep some of our money. He only gave us a partial refund.
So, if you want to book this property, you have to be ready to clean the house and the pool yourself because all Dave cares about is getting your money. He will not address your concerns and might force you out of the house. If you would like to have a stress-free stay, please do yourself a favor and stay away from this property and its owner.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Dave responds to my review with misrepresenting the facts and with false accusations because that is type of person he is.

Communication with Dave was fabulous. Only one minor issue that was not in his control but was rectified. We have stayed at multiple VRBO houses in different locations and this experience was definitely one of the best!! The house is well stocked and super clean. Fabulous hosts!!

This house was the perfect place for my family. It was very clean, roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. It was great to have coolers, ice packs and beach gear so we didn’t have to pack that. The house is in a quiet neighborhood yet near so many beaches, restaurants and activities. We spent a lot of time in the heated pool. This house truly lived up to its name of ‘Treasure Coast Treasure’!

We spent 3 weeks at this Treasure Cove house. It was everything we needed. WiFi worked perfectly for kids in remote school. There was plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed and supplies were well stocked. Dave is an exemplary host and very responsive. It was a great place to stay in Hobe Sound with lots to do. Highly recommend.

This house was the perfect place to waiting for the New Year.We had 7 days of relax with the company of our family.This house is spacious and clear,the kitchen is nice and the view to the patio beautiful.The 3 rooms are confortables and nice decorated.The backyard was my favorite to enjoy a cup of coffe,glass of wine or reading my book.The neighbors are nice and the street was quiet.We need some help and had a quick response.Is near to many restaurants in the area.We recommend highly this house.

The home was a very good fit for our family. Great place to relax after a day site-seeing or at the beach. Fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cleaning supplies and most spices. Beds were very comfortable. Whole house was well cleaned. Garage comes with bikes, beach chairs, and pool floats. Backyard pool was well kept up and helped cap a busy day with a relaxing float. Really appreciated the owner's quick responses, also.
