A wonderfully quiet, comfortable house situated on adjoining farm land. Loads of bed options and kitchen stocked with essentials and then some. At night can see tons of stars being away from it all. The picnic table out back (could use with a refresh) was an amazing spot to take in peaceful breakfast and dinner. Fantastic views. A short drive to Bryce Canyon park entrance. The hosts were extremely warm and attentive. Would absolutely stay again.

This place was a great location to Bryce Canyon. It was in walking distance to restaurants, store and cute coffee shop. The owners were very nice and check in was easy. Well stocked laundry room, shower and kitchen.

The property was exactly as listed, perfect for a quick work trip. Close to the park and plenty of space, would stay again! Marie was an excellent host.

Big house with good accommodations for a 75 year old house. Eclectic property. Great proximity to Bryce Canyon

We meet the owners Scott and Marie at check in. They were very nice and friendly. They gave us a tour of their farm and my daughter got to feed a baby sheep. The owners gave us eggs from their chickens.
The house is in a prefect location to all the sites and town. The view is amazing and relaxing. We saw the deer in the yard everyday. The house is big and had everything we needed for the 3 of us.
It’s an older home but we were there to see to visit Bryce Canyon and other areas not to hang out inside the house.
We will definitely stay here again.

Owners were very friendly. We liked playing hide and seek in the many bedrooms. Everyone had their own bed/room, which was a nice break from all of us sharing 2 queen beds in a hotel :)

The hosts were kind and attentive. The setting and accommodations, with the surrounding sheep farm with apple orchard, was quiet and peaceful and fun for our family. We were close to the national and state parks, and we enjoyed the little grocery store and the coffee shop at the end of the block.

Marie met us when we arrived at her rental home.
She was pleasant and made sure we had all questions answered.
When we entered the rental we were pleasantly surprised with the nostalgic surroundings. The rental was very clean and met all of our needs.
Marie tied a surprise gift which was handmade for us on our car door.
We would certainly recommend her home to all!

This house was spacious and comfortable. The hosts live right across the street and were very welcoming, they even gave us produce from their garden. The place was clean and had plenty of space but is very much in need of updates. The carpet in the bathroom was a negative and the showers were low pressure and small, but other than that the house was good. Location is about 20 minutes from Bryce and the town if Tropic is much nicer than the commercial Ruby's and has much better food and ice cream. We loved the IDK barbecue place in walking distance. We also enjoyed the view from the house and the sheep next door. Overall a good stay.

This is an older family home that is in a great location and well cared for. It was nicely stocked with everything we needed and then some. My kids loved exploring the little town and the backyard. They enjoyed taste-testing in the orchard and meeting the owner's sheep! The true highlight of this stay is the owners. They are very kind people, who greeted us when we pulled up. They live across the street and came over to say goodbye, as well. They spent an hour telling us all about their orchard and sheep and they were so kind to our children. They even brought us goodies from their garden and shared tips with us on places to see that we would have missed otherwise. I highly recommend a stay with them.

Large house with garden in a very quiet place close to Bryce NP. It was appropriate for 4 adults, we spent 2 nights and had a good time there

Plenty of room for everyone. Comfortable beds. Convenient to walk to anywhere in Tropic. Nice yard to sit outside in the evening and chat. We did not spend much time there during the day. Served us well and would stay there again.

Great location, comfortable house, wonderful hosts.

Not only does this terrific little house have a convenient location to Bryce Canyon, restaurants and a little grocery store, but it's also reminiscent of going to grandma's house as a kid.
As two city slickers from the 4th largest city in the Country, my husband and I appreciated the quiet location of Bryce Way Retreat. We are use to constantly being on the go, and this little house and town made us pause and relax during our stay. We found ourselves intrigued by some of the books we remember from our childhood, like Reader's Digest and Popular Science.
There is ample room, a well-stocked Kitchen, two living areas to enjoy, and a washer & dryer for your convenience. I love that the host, Marie, even provides rags and cleaning spray to clean up your shoes. As someone who needs white noise when I sleep, I appreciated the fan in the room, and given it was unusually cooler during our visit in June, we slept with the windows open making it feel just right!
Marie's communication was stellar, and she is an absolute doll! If in the area again in the future, we will definitely stay at the Bryce Way Retreat.
Thanks Marie for your kindness and hospitality! :)

If you are looking for a sweet, quaint “go to visit Grandma’s house” kind of place then this charming farm house is for you! Yes, it has its quirky parts, it was built in 1947, but it just made us love it all the more! From the flowering cherry, pear and apple trees to the farm fresh eggs we purchased from the owners, the home stole our hearts! Baby lambs were frolicking in the field across the road and farm friendly cats…simply a lovely home.
The location is GREAT! We explored Bryce Canyon which is just amazing! We also did a short hike to Mossy Cave and water fall right on Highway 98 near the home. The grocery store is limited as Tropic is a small, seasonal town.
I highly recommend this surprisingly spacious farm house with all its quirks and charm.

Great home base for two friends visiting Bryce. I need a kitchen in which to cook, and this place worked well for us. The local grocery store was limited, very glad I bought food in Moab. Comfortable beds. Lots of room. Good internet. Friendly hostess.

Marie and Scott are very hospitable. The fresh apples we picked were delicious. Definitely will stay here again!

Great location!
Clean and comfortable home. Hosts were awesome! Friendly and gracious with their produce from their garden. The best is that they are Packer fans! Go Pack Go!
Will definitely return to stay once again.

We visited Tropic Utah in September.
Chose this house because it is very close to Bryce Canyon. Also drove to Zion NP. Great place to stay. Town is quaint and has some great food. House was clean and inviting. Views were beautiful from the house. Fruit trees in the yard. Hosts are great, very kind and generous. Home has a lot of character. We had a great trip!

This is a older home. Wonderful for a retreat to regroup during traveling. The hosts are wonderful and shared fruits from their orchard and vegetables from their garden. Easy access. Very spacious and quiet! Laundry is included. We stayed 3 nights.

We stayed in this cute little farmhouse in Tropic. We only had 4 in our party but this home would sleep at least 12. Well equipped with everything you need. Homeowners were great and very generous. Apple and pear trees in the yard. Mr. Barton shared peaches with us too. Had a great time. We visited Bryce Canyon and Zion. Thank you for sharing your home.

Property was perfect for three guys on a hiking trip. Many more could have slept there. Perfect location to Bryce Canyon and Zion.
Owners were super friendly

Nice property 15 mins away from Bryce Canyon National Park. Groceries conveniently located. Hosts Scott and Marie were very welcoming and they also shared fresh produce from their garden and apples from their orchard. Nice experience. Property also has a basement with rooms. The house is dated but we were hardly in the house but the location and the great hosts make up for it.the kids loved the house. We also were able to see stars and faint Milky Way from the backyard.

Thanks a lot Mary and Scott ! Our children Were so happy to See your rabbits, cats , chiken and garden. The house was perfect and very cleaned and well placed !

Wonderful hosts and great base for exploring Bryce Canyon
We stayed at the Bryce Way Retreat on a recent trip to Utah to visit Bryce Canyon. The house was VERY spacious and had more than enough room for our family of five. It was warm, inviting, and a great place to unwind after a day of hiking. There is plenty of room in the yard (including a grill and picnic table for outdoor cooking and dining), and the views of Bryce Valley, especially in the mornings and evenings, are exquisite.
Even better, the house is perfectly located for visiting Bryce Canyon. It is about a 15 minute drive to the park entrance and it felt easy getting to and from the park (and the amenities near the park entrance) throughout our stay. Tropic is a cute, very small town, with a good grocery store for provisions and a few places to eat on the main street.
But undoubtedly the best feature of the property are its amazing hosts, Marie and Scott, who live right across the street. Marie greeted us on our arrival and was very accessible and responsive throughout our stay. And when we ran into car issues during our visit, Marie and Scott went above and beyond what I could have expected to help us get through it. We'll never forget their help and hospitality!
All in all if you are planning to visit Bryce with a family or larger group, I highly recommend the Bryce Way Retreat!

Super cute - great owners
The house was beautiful and very clean. The location is walking distance from the main business district that has a number of great food options. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. Great location near the entry to Bryce Canyon. Look forward to coming back again!

Great Stay
We had a great stay. The house has relaxing yard and outdoor picnic table that we ate at most nights. We loved watching sheep graze across the street and we got to pet Scott and Marie’s bunnies!
Close to Bryce and not too far from escalante hikes and zion for longer day trips.
Highly recommend.

Charming House
We loved this charming house. The house had tons of room. The owners were easy to communicate with. The house is just minutes away from Bryce Canyon hikes. This house was dated but in a good way. It made me feel like I was in my Grandmothers house. The house was super clean. You could walk into town to pick up supplies at the local store. Would stay there again. This place is now an amazing memories of our trip.

Cute, clean and great location
We loved staying at this cute home in Tropic! The host, Maria was so nice and helpful. The home feels like you are staying in your Grandparents home (in a good way) and the views of the mountains are beautiful. We loved visiting with the sheep across the street and we could walk to restaurants on the main street of Tropic.
It was worth the 15 min. drive to Bryce Canyon to be out of the crowds and tourism of Bryce.
Such a charming place to stay!

Absolutely wonderful hostess. Very charming house. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close to Bruce Canyon National Park. As a bonus, you get to spend some time with the flock of sheep's next to the house.

Property is undeniably dated with rather small bathrooms, but very adequate and perfectly comfortable, located roughly 8 miles from Bryce.

Great spot to explore Bryce and the surrounding area. Kitchen was well stocked, definitely a throwback style-wise but I appreciated the carpet in the morning to muffle the noise from upstairs. Great yard for kids to play in.

The house offered more than enough in terms of beds and space for our family. I'd recommend it to others visiting Bryce, Kodachrome, and souther Utah. Nice quiet location, backyard orchard, farm animals across the street, with a well-stocked store a quick walk down the street.

This is a 1940’s house decorated in 50s/60s style. Very clean and comfortable. Nice yard/patio to sit in to enjoy the views. Easy drive to Zion Scott and Marie live across the street and are delightful! They give you privacy or you can visit with them ( we did and it was so interesting!)
