It was fine - good location like any house in town, and perfectly adequate for our stay. The house is a bit dated and the screens all seem to be broken so it's definitely not fancy, but again - fine. My main issue is that the owner came by unannounced almost daily to do things in the yard. We'd be hanging out at the house and all of sudden our dog would start barking up a storm and we look up and sure enough, there she is outside the bedroom window getting the hose to water the plants. I really disliked that.

This was our 2nd time at Susan's place. The location can't be beat! It's accurate to the photos in the listing, and Susan was very responsive. Would recommend!

You cannot beat the location - two block walk to everything. Ordered pizza and we had it back enjoying it in 15 minutes. Very clean, with everything you need. We used the cozy kitchen almost every night. And walked the whole neighborhood. There is even a view of Mt. Crested Butte right out the window while enjoying the rocking chair by the gas stove.

Perfect for our family of 6. Walk to everything in town including free bus to/from Ski area. Would 100% stay here again.

This property worked out great for us. It was the perfect size; clean; and very well stocked. And it was only a couple blocks to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. I would stay here again!

We stayed here because wife’s came on father son fishing trip this year. It was close to town so the girls could walk the shops while we were out fishing in the day. We ended up hiking more than fishing this year. Great house great location two blocks off Main Street and with the little bridge over coal creek it was short walk to town. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint no AC and not upset with that but it would be nice if they had a couple of small fans in the place. Upstairs rooms were very warm in afternoon until 10 o’clock in the evening then by midnight it would cool off you would need to shut the windows. We went mid July but a fan would have been nice to move some air in the bedrooms.

This property should be named "mi casa, es tu casa." This is our 5th visit to CB and this house made us feel like we were truly welcomed guests in someone's home. Extra soaps, lots of towels, an extra stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a spacious living room. It was also walking distance to the main strip. Being able to bring our dogs was an added bonus. We will definitely book this property again!

We had a great weekend skiing in Crested Butte. We were a 3 minute walk from the shuttle to the mountain and 2 blocks from town. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed!

Loved this location and property! Lots of space for multiple couples and right next to downtown and the shuttle stop to the ski resort.

Great location, comfy and roomy house. Great having off street parking for 2 cars. A bit cold and needs some maintenance. Overall the location so close to town was a winner and the property manager was great to deal with.

Awesome location & the place has a lot of charm. One thing we didn’t realize before booking is that there is no AC, so just beware of that for summer time. Also the showers were not cleaned very well with a lot of dirt in them & we did see a few bugs in the bathroom over the course of our stay. The host was super nice and communicative.

A wonderful home to enjoy all Crested Butte has to offer!
We had a fabulous stay at this home- super location for catching the bus to the mountain or enjoying Elk Ave shops and restaurants. The house was very well supplied and communication with owner was smooth! Thank you for allowing dogs- it was wonderful having our fur babies with us for the week!! And thank you for sharing your home- we loved our stay.

Fabulous place to stay in town
This location was perfect for a group of friends and our 18 month old. Walking into town was easy (5 mins max), parking was not a problem at all, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. The house was well stoked with items in the kitchen and utensils. The layout of the house was as described and easy for people to have some personal down time after skiing without everyone being on top of each other. The ski lift pick up was down the street and easy to get to and from. Would 100000% stay at this property again. It was a dream.

Great house near downtown CB
My family shared this unit over Christmas 2021. We loved staying here and had so much fun! The host put up a mini tree, a wreath and some lights which made things festive.
We cooked several meals and there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and other utensils. There was even some tupperware for leftovers.
The heat was mostly the gas stove which is on a thermostat on the wall (easy to use). Cable, internet, and the TV (only one in the living room) all worked great. There were plenty of extra linens, the washing machine and dryer worked, and so did the dishwasher. The rooms did not have ceiling fans and were lit only by lamps. There were hangers in the closets, a coat rack, and other little conveniences.
While we were there, it snowed almost constantly the whole time, so we were glad to find that the host had a service coming out daily to plow the driveway.
This house is a couple blocks from Elk, but not very close to Clark's grocery or either gas station. It's not a bad walk though, even in snow. Going straight up 2 blocks, you get to the (free) bus stop through town and up the mountain.
The host let us in a little early as our flight was early, which was great with the little kids. The host was very friendly and communicative.
We would definitely stay here again!

Needs a serious deep clean.
The location and configuration was fine. However, the interior is very dated and tired. Lots of caked on dirt and dust and very old furniture and kitchen equip. The coffee machine was filthy, there is grime on all the light fixtures and too many knick knacks. It would be a great place if it were decluttered and updated , but a major deep clean needs to happen asap.

We spent Thanksgiving here with a small group and it was perfect. Bigger than the photo's show and had everything we needed to cook a great Thanksgiving meal.

wonderful weekend
the house is older and simply furnished but entirely comfortable and bright and easy. Property manager was very accessible and great to work with. The location is just 2 blocks from the main drag which we also really loved. Everything was just what we needed.

Amazing Location
This house is 2 blocks from all of the action in town. Great parking available and all the amenities you would need. Just needs some better house cleaners. Overall, i would go back.

Great location
It was difficult to read the number of the property from the street. Good amount of space and appreciate landlord loaning us a bike. This property needs a deep clean including carpets. Lots of cobwebs in the corners and dust on baseboards, pictures and fan. The windows lacked screens and was ventilation was poor. Many of the downstairs windows do not open. There was plenty of indoor/outdoor seating and a comfortable living room set. Nice touches with locally made soaps as well as condiments to borrow.

Great Location in CB
This property was well located and a good size for our family of 4. With a few updates (new mattresses and pillows are sorely needed) and a little more attention to the cleaning, this would have been 5-stars across the board. The location was amazing and neighbors were very friendly. Overall, happy with the stay.

Great location, could use some updates
This is a great property in a fantastic location. It is roomy, comfy, and close to town. It could use some TLC: hairs in the shower, TV was on the fritz but mostly worked, no hot water the last day.

Great Location
Nothing fancy, just a great location if you like to be downtown, and in Crested Butte, who doesn't?

Summer in CB
This was a VERY well located home. Perfect for our family of 4. Short walk to town, had all the amenities we needed. Super quiet street, and very well priced. Kitchen was well stocked with all pots, pans, spices, etc... needed. Susan was responsive, helpful, and just all around nice to communicate with regarding the property. We love CB, and this property was great value!

ideal location
This property is in an amazing location and worked very well for our family of 5 and our sweet old dog. The kitchen was well supplied and it is literally so close to all the fun on Elk Ave. and to great trails. We loved just heading out on our bikes from the house. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the blinds which made us feel a little like we were in a fish bowl and gave my husband and I less privacy than what would have been ideal. Susan, the property manager was awesome and so helpful. We loved talking with her and got more of the local flavor of CB from her.

Great location for skiing and going out to bars / restaurants
We had a lovely stay in this property. A quick 2 block walk to the ski bus to get to the mountain. Same distance walk to get to the downtown area. The place was clean and had just about everything we could need. Comfortably slept 7 of us with extra towels and blankets available as we needed them.

Perfect Location
We rented the property for nine nights to have a three-generation family vacation. There were seven of us, plus two corgis. We were only two blocks north of Elk Avenue and near the western end where most of the restaurants and shops are located. The small park on Coal Creek was only one block away, and it was a favorite cooling off spot for the granddaughters. The house had plenty of space and seating for the seven of us on the main floor, and the sleeping quarters were good. Everything was clean and in good working order. This was our fourth visit to Crested Butte, and this was the best place we've stayed. We'd love to do it again.

Amazing location, solid condo
The location can't be beat. 2 blocks from Elk St and the free bus to the mountain. The condo has pretty much all you need. It is definitely on the old side, but very clean and the beds are pretty comfortable. If you want new amenities this isn't the place for you. But if you want a good price, clean place with a nice layout for a group of 6 this is a good option for you. Overall no complaints.

Great place for a mountain holiday
We stayed at this property for a family Christmas with our two adult daughters and their partners. It was just perfect for the 6 of us (though one couple would have preferred a bigger bed, they got the bunk beds). The bottom bed of the bunks is a double, so I figured it was fine for the "young ones". The property was very clean and tidy, instructions were pretty clear (recycling rules a bit confusing for us, so I hope we got it right!). Pretty much everything you could want - I made a traditional Christmas dinner, and the kitchen had all the tools I needed. Quick walk to get the bus to the slopes, or to walk to the nordic centre. Also a very quick walk to restaurants and shops. The only suggestion I would have is that something be written down re procedures for when there's a big snow. This happened while we were there, and at first we weren't sure what we would be expected to do. As it turned out the driveway was cleared, so I assume there is a service already arranged for this. It all worked out, but perhaps other guests would like to know this in advance?
Bathrooms were well stocked. We really appreciated the small bars of locally made soaps. A box of kleenex was also a nice touch, especially in the winter time.
I would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. It was absolutely perfect for us.

Great Location
We enjoyed staying in this duplex. The location is 2 blocks from Elk St. where most of action takes place. It is a enjoyable walk especially if you walk through totem pole park on the way. You can park the car and walk to any place in Crested Butte. The layout of this 2 story is great. It is very open downstairs with comfortable couches. We found the house clean upon arrival, and was well stocked with all normal kitchen and bath items. The only negatives were the lack of local television channels, but they do have netflix which was nice. The rental agent, Susan said the owner was not a big fan of television. This actually turned out to be a positive because it forced us to play hours of games which was great family time! The other negative would be the beds. The two queen beds were not great, but we managed . The 3rd bedroom with full and twin bunks were not very comfortable. They may be alright for young kids, but our grown kids certainly did not like the springy beds. I know that bedding is very subjective, and these are just our opinions. We certainly enjoyed staying at this home but there was a strange beginning and ending. The owners agent, Susan, sent me a text 6 hours before our scheduled 4:00 PM check-in to ask if we could stay at another "little house" the first night. I received this text as we are boarding a plane. I was able to send a quick text replying NO, but this was very unsettling just before a two hour flight. It did work out and we were able to check in as scheduled, but a vacation should be relaxing not worrying if you have a place to stay. Then at check out Susan shows up 30 minutes before scheduled checkout to clean. She knew our car was in the driveway and still knocks on the door to start cleaning. I told her we were almost finished, and would be gone before 10AM checkout and she could return after we left. We have leased through VRBO and other agents many times, and just never experienced anything quite like this. This is a good place to stay. I felt that I should share our experience with other VRBO customers. I know that I would appreciate the information before choosing a home to lease.

Great location
We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in Crested Butte with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson and found this home to be perfect for our stay. We greatly enjoyed the location being so close to the main street as well as trails for hiking and biking. The kitchen is well equipped so we had everything we needed to prepare breakfasts and one night we BBQ'd on the grill.
