Great hosts, and the area as well as the property is remarkable.
We had a great time. Very relaxing, and great beaches just minutes away.

Beautiful place with great views from patio and really nice homeowners

We had a wonderful stay! The view was amazing and the space was comfortable. Highly recommend.

More beautiful than it looks in photos. A little up in the mountains which means beautiful views and beautiful balcony for meals. Remote area in the sense of total privacy while being outdoors and still among neighbors. Spotless. Only complaint - we checked in late in the night and didnt get to spend much time with the hosts because they seem like cool people. Too good to be true (exists sometimes)

The stay was not what I expected, but overall Linda made us seem as we were home. Great communication and help from her she went above and beyond to provide us with information, help and took care of us.

Linda and Ron have a beautiful home and were very accommodating with coffee first thing in the morning and were extremely helpful with any questions we had. We would highly recommend staying with them!

Our stay exceeded our expectations! Our hosts, Linda and Ron are so lovely and welcoming and we can’t wait to see them again! All the little touches were so thoughtful and kind! Their home is so beautiful and warm, Linda’s beautiful artwork is stunning and gives you just a glimpse of how talented she is. Everything was as described, beautiful room, comfy beds etc. the rooms were very clean, lovely windows and sliders for fresh air. My husband needed to work a bit & there was a desk in one of the rooms and he also worked on the patio, wifi was fantastic! The highlight for us was the private outdoor space that overlooked the canyon. We loved having our coffee on the patio ( which was provided every morning & delicious) and spending our evenings sipping a glass of wine . We will definitely be booking again and cannot wait to go back!

My mom and I enjoyed our stay so much that she is talking about the next time we can come. The house itself is a work of art and also is decorated with beautiful art work by the owner as well as other artists. We enjoyed our evenings on the private balcony looking into the green canyon. So peaceful. I live in the desert so it was a treat for me to drive the windy road with trees as canopies. So beautiful. I came for business and pleasure and it was the perfect location to easily get to the places I needed to go to. Linda and Ron were amazing hosts and their house is a great place to plan a getaway.

My husband, father in-law and myself stayed at this lovely vrbo for three nights and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. The views from our private patio were absolutely stunning; we woke up to the sounds of birds and enjoyed the quiet serenity as we sipped our morning coffees. The hosts very very welcoming and communicative and the house is well decorated with paintings made by the host herself. The beds are super comfortable and with two separate bedrooms and a large bathroom, there is plenty of space. Our private entrance made us feel like we could enter and exit quietly, without feeling like there was anyone else even home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to find a place to stay in the Topanga canyon. We look forward to staying again next time we visit!

We absolutely loved staying with Linda and Ron! Their house is amazing and they are the most welcoming people. We came in town for a wedding in Thousand Oaks (about 30 min away) and loved coming back to their house every night. Everything was very clean and they’ve really thought of everything. They even have different types of pillows to pick from so you can be as comfortable as possible. The private balcony is AMAZING with the most beautiful view, and we loved the coffee Linda provided every morning. Thank you for such a fantastic experience !

I had the most peaceful and regenerative stay. Topanga is home for me and I like to stay somewhere where I have alone time . I could not have found a better spot. I will definitely be coming back. I cannot say enough positive things about Linda and her beautiful place

Linda was a wonderful host for our brief stay at their home - very considerate and thoughtful about how to make my friend and me comfortable. It's a great base for exploring Topanga and Malibu, and we also enjoyed sitting on the patio, enjoying the striking view of the mountains, and sipping on some delicious coffee provided by the hosts.

Very nice property on a private road in the hills. The hosts were excellent at communicating and were extremely accommodating. This is essentially a private wing of their home, and we had our own 2 bedrooms with adjoining balcony and a large bathroom. It was not a "common area" of the home, so although the stairs to the main level were right there, we still had our privacy and did not feel like we were "in" someone else's living quarters. The beds were so comfortable, we slept like logs, everything was clearly labeled and provided, including clean bedding, towels, toiletries, filtered drinking water, etc. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the hills, then this is the place for you. The only drawbacks were having to drive a ways to so many things since there's not really an area to store/make food, and that there is not cell phone service, but I would definitely recommend if you are looking for peace, quiet, and tranquility.

This was our 1st time with a VRBO booking and couldn't ask for a better experience. We wanted a quiet "hub" for our daytime weekend outings and got exactly that.
The emailed directions to the home indicated that GPS might not reliably work in the canyons leading to the home, but our GPS worked just fine. I would note that cell phone service (Verizon for us) dropped out as we go close to the home.
I'd definitly recommend a stay here!

Clean and comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of Topanga Canyon right out of the window on the private porch. Linda and Ron were great hosts, providing coffee, water, and offering anything else we needed during our stay. The roads leading to the property can be tricky to navigate, particularly at night. You are staying in the home as the hosts, this is not an entire home rental but plenty of privacy was given. We have a wonderful stay!

We wanted to be a short drive to the ocean, but also close enough to LA to get most places within an hour or so. At Linda and Ron's place we could go twenty minutes one way to the Valley (Ventura Highway, the 101) & twenty minutes the other way to Pacific Coast Highway. We didn't need to rent a whole house--because we knew we'd be out a lot and not cooking, so didn't want to pay another hundred-plus dollars more for room and amenities we wouldn't use. The balcony was enough shared space for our crew, two dads and two teen daughters, and the openness of the valley view gave us more spaciousness. The mini-fridge was more than adequate so we could keep breakfast & lunch food and not eat out every meal. It was also pleasantly cool in July till late morning and in the evening, with the marine effect. If you have similar practical, tourist, and comfort considerations--and don't need to make a lot of noise (this is a section of someone's house, after all), you may really like this place. We did!

A peaceful, luxurious respite with amazing views!
We enjoyed the gracious hospitality, comfortable beds, the peace and quiet and awesome views from the deck. A++ , we highly recommend!! Linda was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Thanks for a memorable weekend!

Thank you Linda!
Our stay in the guest wing of Linda's house was very pleasant and full of nature. Her place in Topanga is perfect if you want to get out of the city, enjoy the mountains, see stars, and listen to the sounds of morning birds and night frogs. While wi-fi is available, this is definitely a place to unplug and relax. However, there are also hundreds of movies to choose from during your stay if you want to watch something!
The private patio is the perfect place to enjoy your morning tea or coffee, and the views are aptly represented in the listings pictures! There are some lovely cafes and restaurants just 2.5 miles south, and Waterlily Cafe is well worth stopping into for reasonably priced coffee, breakfast, or lunch. There is also easy access to Topanga State Park (3 miles south) and horseback riding (2 miles north) from Linda's place.
We would be happy to stay here again, or recommend it to any of our friends and family.

Plenty of privacy
I was totally surprised by the added fees to the reservation. Not clear in the booking process and one must budget at least 30-50% in added costs ☹️

Amazing!
Breathtaking! Wonderful, kind hosts who made us feel cared for with attention to detail and useful amenities above our expectations. Clear signage and notes helped us feel comfortable and aware of all offerings. Fresh coffee early in the morning was delicious and perfect for us because our young son gets up earlier than we wanted to make a run to the cafe.
They thought of everything and the picture you see is what you get. Beautiful views and a peaceful environment. We couldn’t have been more pleased.

Wonderful Artistic Flat in the Clouds
We had an excellent time up away in the Topanga hills. Linda and Pat have created a beautiful home with some of the finest furnishings I’ve ever enjoyed at a stay. Having the whole top floor to ourselves gave us privacy and gorgeous views. Their home is wonderfully secluded making for a scenic drive

Lovely Stay!
The view off the balcony cannot be beat. The bedrooms and bath are an offshoot of a communal hallway which was a surprise, but the hosts did a wonderful job respecting our privacy.

Great stay at a beautiful location
We had a great time staying at Linda and Ron's beautiful home in Topanga! We drove down from NorCal for the weekend for a change of scenery and it was just perfect. Their home is lovely with beautiful art and the beds were very comfortable. My 2-year-old even slept well! Linda and Ron were very attentive hosts and provided us with coffee and water throughout our stay. I appreciated the notes around the rooms that helped us know where to find everything.

Beautiful Rooms & Property
We had a wonderful stay in Linda and Ron's gorgeous home, with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. Both rooms were so beautiful and well-appointed, we had a separate entrance, and the view was amazing! The beds were incredibly comfortable!! The rooms and bathroom were impeccably clean and spacious. So many thoughtful touches throughout. Really felt like our hosts thought of everything we could possibly need and were so kind and generous. Highly recommend staying here if you are in L.A.!

A beautiful property in a beautiful location with lovely hosts. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom spacious. The morning coffee/tea that was left for us was the cherry on top!

Cats
Although it was not an issue for me, the house does have cats. They are not allowed in the bedrooms, but when my daughter was helping me unload she had an allergic reaction. So although cats are not allowed in the guest rooms, the dander is still there. If you’re highly allergic just be aware.

Topanga Canyon Oasis
It was hard to leave each day. We could have sipped coffee all morning and drunk wine all evening on the porch overlooking the canyon. But access to the PCH was just down hill and the mall and restaurants were just up and over the hill. Easy to get to Santa Monica, just a perfect location. Thanks for taking care of us Linda!

Beautiful Weekend in Topanga
My wife, daughter, and I had an amazing weekend in Topanga while staying at Linda's place. Upon entering the residence, my wife and I couldn't help but notice the amazing artwork throughout the property. After asking Linda for details, she informed us that most of these pieces were hers, and gave us a quick rundown of her artistic ventures (at our behest). The hospitality that Linda and her husband bestowed on us is unmatched and completely made us feel at home. Besides enjoying the beautiful deck in the evenings while sipping some wine as our baby slept, we actually ran into the only 2 people we know in the area while on our Saturday morning walk. So awesome and random! I highly recommend Linda's property for someone looking to have a unique, adventurous, and relaxing stay in the beautiful island that is the Topanga area.

Girls trip 2021
The rooms and views were incredible. Linda is so kind and sweet. She had tea for us every morning and had many recommendations for food and activities. The house is gorgeous and filled with art created by Linda. The location is secluded, but about 15 minutes from Santa Monica and Thousand Oaks. I would love to stay here again someday!
