A bit dated but we felt this added to the properties charm.
Brilliant location, parking for three cars, good amenities
in the village apart from the two pubs, neither providing a satisfactory experience.

The cottage would be great for a family holiday but needs some updating.

This was our second stay at Seagulls - a lovely base to explore North Norfolk from. All the amenities that you need for a pleasant stay, and of course that view from the sitting room - awesome.

Beautiful setting and very spacious property with a large and peaceful garden.
Beautiful setting and very spacious property with a large and peaceful garden. Very comfortable beds and lounge with a lovely view over salt marshes. Great for deer, rabbit and bird watching! Generally very well equipped inside and out but could do with larger wine glasses (!) All the appliances worked but could do with more modern hoover. A little bit of tlc needed e.g. kitchen drawer trim. Overall a very happy stay and would be pleased to return to this property and this part of North Norfolk.

Seagulls suits our 3generation family very well.
Seagulls suits our 3generation family very well. The accommodation and the garden are both spacious, the upstairs sitting room is a real bonus, and was much appreciated this year when the weather wasn’t always good. The location is second to none. Two hotels, two pubs and a restaurant and a supermarket all within walking distance. We have just had our 8th holiday at Seagulls and hope to return.

Lovely house in a superb location.
Lovely house in a superb location. Well equipped, right down to the children's toys both indoors and in the garden. Safely enclosed large garden, and just a few minutes walk to a children's playground. Five minutes to the harbour and shops, even closer to the coastal path. Ideal place for a family holiday.

Seagulls is in a perfect location for taking dogs for a walk.
Seagulls is in a perfect location for taking dogs for a walk. It is very handy for the Kings Arms and the shop. We would recommend The Moorings for Sunday lunch - delicious! The house is kept very clean and tidy and is equipped with everything you need for a holiday. The beds are comfortable and cosy; the kitchen/dining room is large; and minor items such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, etc. are all supplied - a small detail which we appreciated. Upstairs, the very large sitting room gives magnificent views over the dunes and coastal walk, and the enclosed garden is good for allowing pets to get some fresh air! The decor is a bit dated but it is not scruffy - more retro.
We would have appreciated a TV in the Dining Area, as people tend to stay there, especially if they have pets. Also, although it is requested that pets should be washed down at the Quay (up to 400m away) before bringing them home, this can be impractical, and a hose (which can be connected to the outside tap) and trough would be better for cleaning pets at the house. The garden is very large and grassy, which should be kept cut, so that dog accidents can be seen, but this may not have been scheduled as we went in early spring, before the lawn is usually given a trim after the winter.
Nevertheless, all in all it is a great place for a short stay and we would recommend it.

Seagulls was in a lovely position and had everything we were expecting.
Seagulls was in a lovely position and had everything we were expecting. I would however say that it was not luxury as stated. It requires redecorating and it could do with a spring clean. It was not filthy but parts of it had not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time.
However saying the above, we had a great week and Seagulls was very spacious.
