Lovely cottage in a great location.
Lovely cottage in a great location. The large enclosed garden was great for our dig! The only negative was that the pans in the kitchen had been put away dirty, the cutlery draw needed a clean and the last occupants had left dog muck all over the Garden. Apart from this the rest of the cottage was immaculate and we have booked for next new year!

Lovely bungalow , very clean , great location, great garden for the dogs but the fence was damaged between the two cottages so couldn't leave the dogs unsupervised if they went round the front.
Kitchen had plenty of pots and pans for our Christmas Dinner.
Shower is fantastic.
Heating is great, lovely and warm.
The bed could do with a head board to stop your pillows disappearing in the night and the couch is very small ,the bungalow is laminated throughout so we had to put towels down to lessen the sound of the the dogs clip clopping every time they walked, but the pros outweighed the cons and the location is spot on.
Would stay again for the location and cleanliness alone

Lovely cottage, very cosy but living room furniture very small and uncomfortable, other than that, the garden was amazing for our 2 dogs, and the bed was really comfortable.
I have noticed that other reviews have mentioned the uncomfortable furniture, replace it and it would be perfect.

An excellent holiday cottage, with a large secure garden for the dog. Easy access to the town centre and also to some attractive walks in the neighbourhood of Keswick, including the lakeside. We would be very happy to take the cottage again at some future date.

This certainly is a Gem.
This certainly is a Gem.
We arrived and had a lovely relaxing 4 night break which was well deserved after lockdown.
The cottage was nipping clean and the self catering equipment is excellent. Will return. 珞

A lovely little house for our week in Keswick.
A lovely little house for our week in Keswick. Large garden, a quiet location and two minutes walk from Moot Hall.
The house was clean and well appointed although obviously there was less "stuff" around the place due to the pandemic.
The bedrooms are fine, the smaller bedroom perfect for a teenager. The mattress is a little spongy for our comfort but that's nearly impossible to please everyone. The lounge is roomy but could probably do with a bigger sofa. It's a bit cramped but then it's a house for three people not a large family or group.
The owner who popped by is really nice.
Overall it's a really great base for a Keswick break or walking trip. Next time we go we will see if La'al gem is free and if so, will book it.

Lovely bungalow with gorgeous big garden that our dog loved.
Lovely bungalow with gorgeous big garden that our dog loved. Close to all amenities. Having mobility problems it is always hard to find ground floor accommodation that is dog friendly with shower cubicle too. This bungalow was great ( as long as you can manage a couple of steps which I can) Double bed is on castors which on the laminate flooring made it like Disney on ice sometimes but that is only a minor niggle. We loved our holiday and we will definitely be back.

This was a lovely little cottage less than 5mins walk from the town centre, but very quiet indeed (garden backed onto the allotment area). We were there for a short stay (3nights) and it did very nicely. No bath, just a shower, but that was fine for us. Beds comfy, and decent sized sitting room with dining area. Kitchen had many different items, though only 4 forks (!) and could have done with a drying rack next to the sink; otherwise the cottage had all we could have needed (including a hair dryer - this should be included in the list of items at the cottage, as it saves you bringing your own which can take up room in a suitcase!). We had amazing weather (Easer weekend) and the kids were in the garden a lot; the garden is a fair size for a 2bed bungalow, and really pretty this time of year.
