Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, this cosy cottage is perfect for outdoor lovers - bring your horse and enjoy riding the quiet bridle paths.. 1 step to entrance.

Separate Toilet.. Oil central heating (£30 per week/£15 per short break Oct-Mar), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and two seater swing seat. Shared 20-acre natural grounds with pastureland and small wood. Stabling and grazing for horses by arrangement. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a covered pond 5 yards from the property.. Set in 20 acres of unspoilt farmland with sheep and horses, and close to the award winning village of Llanasa in the Clwydian Mountain Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Pant Glas Mawr Cottage offers spacious and comfortable accommodation in a peaceful rural location. It is ideal for couples and families wanting to explore all that this beautiful part of north Wales has to offer. Attached to the owners’ home, this single-storey, semi-detached cottage has its own private garden which enjoys superb views over the surrounding countryside. Perfect for those who love the great outdoors, there are lots of lovely walks in the area including the famous Offa’s Dyke. There are also plenty of cycle routes and bridle paths in the area, and for equestrians who want to bring their own horse, there is a livery on-site (to be arranged directly with the owner). Other activities available locally include coarse fishing, ½ mile at Gyrn Castle, and golf.
The pretty conservation village of Llanasa, which has its own castle and a welcoming pub, is just a 10-minute walk from the cottage. A wider range of amenities can be found in Holywell, 7 miles, and the beach resorts of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Talacre are all within a 15-minute drive, making this an ideal destination for those who love both coast and country. The Victorian seaside town of Llandudno and the Great Orme are 30 miles away. Other places worth visiting within easy driving distance include Colwyn Bay, 23 miles, and the historic city of Chester, 27 miles. Families with children will enjoy Chester Zoo, 27 miles, and the Blue Planet Aquarium, 26 miles. For National Trust members, Erddig, Bodnant Gardens and Chirk Castle are all within an hour’s drive. Snowdonia National Park and Llangollen can also be reached within an hour’s drive. With so much to see and do Pant Glas Mawr really does make an ideal touring base with something to suit everyone. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
