Property was well situated and spotless. Very quiet and parking was a bonus. Lovely walks for dog (and his owner). Will definitely go again

A very comfortable stay.
A very comfortable stay. Everything spotlessly clean. Ideally situated for local shops, and very near to beach and easy walks. We were made to feel really welcome

The cottage was very clean, well appointed and easy to find.
The cottage was very clean, well appointed and easy to find.
Ideal for us as a family with pet. We wanted outside of main coastal towns.
Bed great and bathroom huge.
The sofa bed was not used as took a blow up for daughter but it wasn't comfortable to sit on for a long time but as we used house as a base wasn't a huge problem for us.
Owners lovely and very attentive.
We chose not to use the shared facilities due to not knowing others who were using but they are there if people choose to.
The neighbouring property is under renovation but this didn't impact on us.
A lovely holiday and friendly town and beach ideal for us

We loved Elens place and it was very very clean.
We loved Elens place and it was very very clean. I only gave it a 9 for overall rating because there isn't a garden; just a tiny yard which is filled with table and chairs. Also rated a 8 for comfort: because the sofa is incredibly low and desperately needs replacing. Otherwise a wonderful little cottage.

Cosy clean and well equipped , parking is a bonus , enclosed yard - great if you have a dog .
Cosy clean and well equipped , parking is a bonus , enclosed yard - great if you have a dog . A great base for exploring - I visited in November , so a lot of amenities closed , but still enough open . Fabulous for walking the dog in the beach - as other reviewers have mentioned , a more comfier sofa would be great , especially if there were three of you . Located behind the high street , so no views but that wasn’t a problem as so much to see .

The owners are very accommodating.
The owners are very accommodating. Due to a logistical error, we arrived a few days late and the owners let us stay a few days more as the place had not been let.
The property is very well equipped and even has a shed where you can put bikes, pushchair etc. The shed also houses the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen is well fitted with integrated appliances including a dishwasher. The rest of the property is very well presented.
Comfort is a difficult one because everyone is different. I found the seating a little uncomfortable. My wife and daughter found the beds uncomfortable.
The property is located very close to all amenities and ample parking is available. There is a chip shop nearby that can be a little smelly as you walk towards the property but it never seemed to enter the property and we had the windows open all the time as it was nearly 30 degrees.
In all, I would recommend this property for a couple and would use it again, if I was staying in the area.
