The Location is fantastic. Near the beautiful beaches and a short walk to the hill house pub that serves great food. Lots of lovely towns nearby to explore. The property is very old as you would expect, but has all you need for a long stay. The enclosed gardens were perfect for our dog to play. I would recommend this to adults and families as well as dog owners.

Lighthouse cottage is a lovely place , excellent for dogs and for the beach .
Lighthouse cottage is a lovely place , excellent for dogs and for the beach . It was clean and comfortable , although the bed ( in my opinion was not and the mattress needs to be changed as it sinks in the middle ) giving my husband a bad back and me hip pain .
The cottage is attached to a working lighthouse but this didn’t disturb us at all . Altogether a very nice place and well equipped .

Our grandchildren together with our dog enjoyed playing in the spacious garden and the chessboard was an added bonus.

We weren't sure what to expect, but we absolutely loved every minute spent at Lighthouse cottage.
We weren't sure what to expect, but we absolutely loved every minute spent at Lighthouse cottage. We thought it would just be a base for sight seeing, but we ended up spending most of the week either in the cottage itself or on the beach, just a short walk away. It really was a holiday to remember. We will visit again.

Excellent location,

Excellent location,
Beautiful views.
Comfortable bed.
Super walled garden for our dog.
But hedges around gateposts need serious attention to Aline with gate posts vertically to prevent damage to vehicle paintwork.
Gates need adjustment for ease of opening.
We found the sofas.uncomfortable

Lovely characterful cottage in a delightful location.
Lovely characterful cottage in a delightful location. The beach is close by (and due to coastal erosion getting closer every year) and the local pub Hill House Inn was only a short walk away and does great food - best to book a table though as it gets very busy, particularly at weekends.
The only shop in the village is closed Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, but if you do arrive in need of groceries for the weekend, the Tesco's in Stalham is about 15 minutes drive away.
There's plenty to see and do in the area, and would definitely recommend Ross's Boat trip around Horsey Mere, sailing from Horsey Wind Pump. A very entertaining hour!

Lighthouse Cottage is in a wonderful location.
Lighthouse Cottage is in a wonderful location. Full of character and only a 5 minute walk down to the sandy beach. There are sweeping views of the sea from the cottage. It's very peaceful there, without being isolated. The garden is very safe for a dog, fully enclosed. Everything worked as it should and there was no equipment that we needed that was missing. We plan to return there before long.

This was a lovely cosy and comfortable cottage.
This was a lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. We had a problem with the central heating and the caretaker and owner were really prompt in getting it sorted. Loved the enclosed garden which was great for our dog.
Would like to revisit when the weather is better.
