We had a lovely stay in the perfectly situated cottage in Ross on wye. A very short walk into town and walks along the river. Comfortable bed and relaxing bath to ease the aching mussels after those long walks. It had everything we needed and we were made very welcome.

This was our 6th visit to Columbine which speaks volumes.
This was our 6th visit to Columbine which speaks volumes. It is always clean, with excellent amenities (TV/DVD player/Washing machine/Microwaves etc. , all working perfectly.) Bed very comfortable. House secure with lockable outside porch door and inside door to house. Parking space is a bit difficult but manageable and safe. If you can manage the steep hills (you can't go anywhere in Ross without encountering some mighty ones), you are close to all Ross can offer. We intend, hopefully, to go again next year. (P.S. The owner obviously cares about the property and it shows). Recomended.

Really enjoyed our stay at Columbine Cottage.
Really enjoyed our stay at Columbine Cottage. Found parking a little difficult, otherwise very good. Ideally situated in Ross-on-Wye, good pubs, shops etc. For those who like walking, numerous possibilities available.

This was a great little cottage in a very convenient location.
This was a great little cottage in a very convenient location. The only slight issue was the parking. Always was going to be tight - and there is a space allocated for one car - but it is a very narrow entrance and no facility to turn at the far end - so a long and slow reverse is required - either to get in or to get out. That aside, great place.

Still a safe, comfortable place to stay.
Still a safe, comfortable place to stay. Very local with easy walking to shops, pubs, restaurants in Ross, and access to a wide variety of locations (Symonds Yat etc). My wife and i have friends in Ross and come very year, and this has been our best base yet - % years and counting.

The cottage was well presented and clean.
The cottage was well presented and clean. It was an oasis from the noisy urban environment experienced at home. It was quiet, spotlessly clean with every comfort to make a truly memorable holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Columbine Cottage tucked away at the end of a narrow "cul-de-sac".
We really enjoyed our stay at Columbine Cottage tucked away at the end of a narrow "cul-de-sac". Lovely to return to a warm and cosy cottage after trips locally and further afield. Particularly enjoyable were visits to Gloucester Cathedral and Symonds Yat. There is certainly a lot to see and do in the area. If the weather had been better (3-10 March) we would have loved to do more riverside walking straight from the door which is a wonderful attraction of the cottage's location.

Had a fantastic time, would definitely stay here again.
Had a fantastic time, would definitely stay here again. The cottage is lovely and cosy, location is perfect mix of town/right on the river and there are plenty of places to visit.
Should be noted though, if travelling with a dog like us, the description says walled garden but it isn't. Or rather there's a wall on two sides, a house on one and complete openness on the other so you can't let the dog out.
Don't think I'm being offputting, it really is a great place.
