A very comfortable cottage on a working farm.
A very comfortable cottage on a working farm. A warm welcome from Sarah who was always keen to offer advice, if we needed it. The homemade Victoria Sandwich was delicious and the farm eggs were much appreciated. Although the weather was not fantastic we were able to get out and about every day. We hope to return in July 2022.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Barleycorn. The cottage is very spacious for 2 people and well equipped. The location on the farm is simply stunning. Very remote and so silent at nights. A bit of active farm life around is lovely. It's a great base for exploring Dorset and the hosts are wonderful and friendly and make some delicious honey! Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Excellent cottage in a peaceful spot with the added bonus of the resident dogs, horses, chickens and ducks and, of course, Sarah who was very friendly and welcoming. A delicious homemade cake was waiting for us on our arrival which was a nice surprise along with milk and their own eggs and honey. Great views of the countryside and even saw some deer.
Reluctant to leave!

We had a lovely holiday at Barleycorn.
We had a lovely holiday at Barleycorn. Sarah was extremely friendly and helpful. The cottage had absolutely everything you could possibly need. Cake (home made), milk, honey, eggs, tea and coffee on arrival. Our puppy loved the company through the fence with the farm dogs. Each day, when we got back, she raced through to go out and meet them.
I noticed in the visitors book, several were repeat bookings, so that says it all.
