We had a lovely stay at Darling Cottage, it's within easy walking distance of the centre of th village and was very comfortable to stay in. I would also add that we found the back garden to be child friendly. I had seen a review which said they wouldn't come back until their young kids were older due to there being a step to the garden. This is true but I think it depends on your own individual point of view. For us, with two kids of 4 and 10 months the garden was lovely, very accessible (although yes there is a step out the house to the patio and again from the patio to the lawn. It was secure and had plenty of space to kick a ball around etc.. The place was clean, tidy and we'll maintained. The heating was very efficient so took a little while to find the right balance but it was always easy to heat up quickly. We had a really lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

Darling Cottage was comfortable, roomy and well equipped for the 6 of us on holiday. The kitchen/living area is gorgeous and was nice for us all to be together. It was a great place to spend time on some rainy days. The only minor issue we found was that the mattresses were very hard...a shame when everything else was so well done.

We stay regularly in cottages and houses all over the UK and abroad and I can honest say this is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in
Bambrugh itself is lovely and the cottage is a 5 minute walk to a choice of 3 pubs and an excellent fish restaurant
All in all we had a lovely time and will definitely return

The cottage is beautifully presented and furnished.
The cottage is beautifully presented and furnished. It had all amenities we could possibly need. Bamburgh is a pretty village, has a beautiful beach, and a most impressive castle! There are nice pubs etc but there is not much in the way of shops, however there are shops in easy reach elsewhere. We had a lovely family - focused week in a most agreeable setting.

Really liked the cottage - high quality in a great coastal location.
