A chocolate box cottage, scrupulously clean. Furnished for comfort and in good taste. Excellent kitchen with every need catered for. No toilet up stairs which was inconvenient.
Lovely village. Good 'chippy'. Pub food we found generous bur of only average quality while we enjoyed several good meals at "Poppy's" which we thoroughly recommend.

Not our first time at Harbour Cottage and will not be our last. Village was quiter than normal due to covid and the pub being close was a shame but otherwise fantastic.

Lovely cottage, no negative comments at all.
Lovely cottage, no negative comments at all. Location is brilliant.
Our 5th time on staying in Winterton on Sea , we have been to Norfolk on numerous occasions, and Winterton is our favourite village, right on top of a beautiful beach, little post office, fish n’ chip shop (lovely takeaway) and a great pub, what more do you need. So many lovely walks to do in the area, our dog has a whale of a time. Would definitely recommend Holkham where you can walk though to Wells next the Sea , Sheringham where you can get a steam train and it’s a lovely walk back and Horsey to see the seals .
Harbour Cottage is definitely a place we would like to return to, extremely clean, very comfortable, very well equipped , only thing missing is a dishwasher but that didn’t bother us at all.
Would definitely recommend this dog friendly cottage.

Lovely cottage in a small quaint village on the beautiful Norfolk coast.
Lovely cottage in a small quaint village on the beautiful Norfolk coast. The beach is vast so socially distancing is not a problem. You often see the seals close to the shore.
It is a very dog friendly place. There is a pub, fish and chip shop, local store and post office. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Nice cottage in pleasant and quiet village.
Nice cottage in pleasant and quiet village. Long walks nearby along the dunes for dogs. Easy routes in to Gt Yarmouth and beyond, or to the broads or even North Norfolk resorts.

Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location.
Fantastic cottage in a wonderful location. Perfect for a family holiday. The beach is only 5-10mins away and the pub is just across the road. Good chippy and village shop selling all essentials and lovely cakes. Kitchen just needs a dishwasher. Otherwise it’s a great choice.

We had a wonderful week at Harbour Cottage, 5 minute walk and you are on the long sandy beach, bliss! Pub opposite, a shop around the corner and a great local Fish and chips takeaway. The property was perfect for a family of four, the pictures don't do it justice. We will be back.

Delightful cottage, well equipped and quality decor. Only negatives were the bushes on drive need trimming or you can't get out of the car easily, some of the shower rooms tiles are mouldy and cracked.

Great well equiped cottage which was exactly as described.
Great well equiped cottage which was exactly as described. Dog friendly pub, shop, chippy and beach all within a five minute walk. We needed to contact the owner one day as we had no hot water. It was entirely our own fault as we had switched it off by accident ( make sure the switch by the back door under the heating control is on !!) He had organised a plumber to call within a couple of hours to sort it so excellent service provided. Would definately recomend to friends and family.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Harbour Cottage.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Harbour Cottage. It has everything you need for a great family holiday and we really appreciated the supplies left for us on our arrival (milk, bread, chocolates, cake and biscuits). There was a wonderful selection of DVDs and board games to keep us entertained and the cooking, sleeping and washing facilities were excellent.
A great location for seeing what Norfolk has to offer (we had day trips to Blickling Hall, the Broads, Horsey Windpump and Norwich) plus a fantastic beach just 5 minutes walk away. The local amenities (pub, children’s play park, chippy, post office and mini mart) offer all that you need but there are big supermarkets only a short drive away.
Would definitely recommend to other families (our children are 7 and 5).

We had a great time but struggled with the bathroom being downstairs and the double bed wasn’t comfortable so I spent most of the week sleeping on the coach, but no other faults
