The property was great, really thoughtfully prepared, real attention to detail eg a pint of milk, plenty of towels, washing up liquid. The cottage is lovely and warm for a winter stay, with dishwasher and washing machine available, parking by the door.
The location is beautiful, surrounded by Swaledale, but very convenient in the centre of the village with pubs and shops.
The only issue was booking via VRBO, emails were not sent and payment did not go through, had to call and be on hold for ages! Guess this is the issue of the large rental sites acting as agents, especially when their system is full of glitches. Book via cottages.com!
Could not fault cottage or owners and plan to return!
