About this house rental
Our private home is located amongst majestic pines and palms, in a quiet, safe, peaceful residential area. It is situated in Rotonda Lakes on Florida's Gulf Coast renowned for its numerous championship golf courses and beautiful soft white sandy beaches.
Our smoke free home is fully air-conditioned with a queen-size master bedroom complete with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom and a door leading to the lanai. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, his and her wash basins and a private toilet. The 2nd bedroom has twin beds and a double closet. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds, a large dresser and walk-in closet. Both bedrooms share a bathroom that includes a tub/shower, vanity and toilet.
The home has a spacious open living room furnished with 2 leather reclining couches and a TV with satellite. Double doors lead to the lanai and pool area. There is a formal dining area that seats up to 8 people.
The kitchen is equipped with all appliances and utensils and has a table with seating for 4. There is a phone with unlimited calling in the US and free unlimited Broadband Internet access located in the desk area off the kitchen. There is a laundry room is off the kitchen that includes a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
The rear of the property has a large lanai fully furnished with patio table and chairs for outside dining, or relaxing around the electrically heated private swimming pool. This area is completely screened to keep out bugs and is ideal for sunbathing, barbecuing and generally relaxing in this tranquil location.

Quiet place to stay in Rotunda West
This home was perfect for our vacation. It was spacious and had all we needed for cooking meals at the house. We used the small coolers to pack waters and lunch for the beach, two adult beach chairs (one child’s chair), boogie board, beach towels, nice bath towels and so many other amenities available. The neighborhood is quiet with tortoises and hares nearby… take note 😉. The pool was refreshing and early mornings on the lanai with a cuppa were secluded on all three sides from neighbors. Our local friends will be suggesting this home for their various guests that come throughout the year. Thank you for a lovely place at a reasonable price. We hope to return.

We had an amazing time. The rental was everything as pictured. Very clean. Agent (Dan McKenzie) was very prompt, professional and helpful with any questions I had. Definitely would recommend and I’d stay here again.

Excellent choice!
This property was everything you need when you're on vacation with kids! The check in was a breeze! Extremely clean, well stocked with all kinds of kitchenware, huge pots, little pots, lots of little things in the utensils drawer, like garlic squizer, potato masher etc.
The pool, oh my goodness, was it the highlight of this property! Amazingly taken care of! With an option to be heated if the water is too cold.
The bedrooms were nice, good beds, nice linens. Lots of towels too. Master bedroom bed was a bit too squeaky though ))
Very quiet area, secluded from neighbors from 3 sides with a green area, we even spotted some rabbits and turtles on couple of occasions.
Within 20-30 min from really nice beaches with amenities.
If you come with a baby or a toddler, there is a portable crib (pack-n-play) and a high chair available, wich was a tremendous help with feeding our toddler and keeping the food off of floors.
Will definitely stay here again, no doubt!

Great house and vacation area
This property is lovely. Great kitchen with everything you need. The large smart TV was a treat as usually the TV at rentals is not as nice as my home TV. The Wifi was a bit slow at times but more than adequate. The pool was great. Everything was very clean. We went to beaches on Boca Grande and Englewood which were very beautiful.

Quiet, comfortable stay in Rotunda Lakes
We enjoyed our stay at this nice home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Home was very clean and is equipped with everything you need for an extended stay. Close to reasonably priced golf, tennis/pickleball courts, and many parks to explore. The owner, Dan, answered a couple questions very quickly. The only downside is the internet service which is relatively slow (Hughes Satellite) if you have to work remotely. This is absolutely no fault of the owner as it’s the best internet service available in the neighborhood. We hope to return next year.

Overall this was a good place for us. The house had a pool and patio which was nice. However the patio furniture needs new cushions. The coffee maker didn’t work. There was broken tables in the living room. Internet not working, and tv only could get few channels. I would bring my own linens next time.

Clean home in a quiet neighborhood
We loved our stay at this property. It was perfect for our family of 5. The house was always comfortably cool, very clean and had everything we needed to cook our meals there. We ordered grocery pick up from a Walmart store that was about 10 minutes away. We explored the area beaches. Manasota key was a mere 20 minutes away and Boca Grande island was even closer. The neighborhood was so quiet and great for early morning or evening walks. The property sits on a quiet corner and the small backyard is completely surrounded by foliage so the pool is very private. Would definitely recommend!

No Manager for contact when things don't work or go wrong.
Electric went off, TV didn't come back on, Owner dosen't live in the country, sent e-mails to him, no reply. Went 1 night with no TV.
Ants all over the deck, ant baits on the kitchen work surface!!
Could not access the garage to put in the car due to the owners car being in there, had some bad weather.

Good location
Thank you we had a good time! House with the pool is great we used the pool every day. Location is great we discovered two nice state parks close by with beautiful beaches. And the ice cream place which is also close by was excellent we stopped by there almost every day. Nice and safe neighborhood too!

Quiet and relaxing
Beautiful home, well supplied and nice quiet private lot. Ice maker didn’t work but there were ice trays. And pool lounges were broken. Owner responded quickly and was going to take care of it all, but couldn’t get lounges to us in time for our stay. Not a big deal though as we just used the other chairs from the porch. Loved our stay and would definitely do it again.

Quiet Private and Turtle central
Overall the property fit all of our needs. There was a few things that were a slight inconvenience and I will list them below. The internet/WiFi is Extremely slow, there was only 1 TV in the entire house, the sliding glass door lock to the pool area was broke. ( I was able to fix it). This was a major concern of ours, we have a 22 month old son and 3 year old daughter. There were a few outlets in the house that were not working. We were not able to pull our car into the garage because the home owner had his car in there. Again there were no Major issues with the home just a few quirky things that should be addressed. Overall we enjoyed the home, it was clean and a nice private location. There was plenty of wildlife out at night and lots of tortoises roaming the grounds.

Just me and my elderly mom. easy access , quite area, no neighbors surrounding property except for across the street ( but never saw them) not far from beach or shopping. . had two bikes available to use. and there is a very long bike path one can go on. nice pool, but a little to cold for my mom. I was able to use it twice. never had to set the thermostat in the house. kitchen stocked with pots, pans, dishes and such. would rent again. Thank you

Remote work/vacation trip
My husband and I stayed at the property for three weeks in February and early March. The house was clean and well equipped for a three week stay, and the owner was very responsive. The only issue we had was with the internet speed. Unfortunately if you plan to work remotely and stay here, it is very difficult to host video/conference calls. We let the owner know the issue, and he immediately sent out a new provider for a faster Wi-Fi connection, but it still was pretty slow. No fault at all of the owner, but it's something to be aware of if you're in a situation like ours. We appreciated how fast and willing he was to have it fixed. Overall would recommend the house to anyone looking for a vacation!

Loved the pool!
We loved the area, with easy access to Englewood Beach, Stump Pass Park, and Gaspirilla Island. The pool was cool the first day, so I emailed the owner, Dan. He helped me with how to run the pool heater, and we then used the pool every day. It was especially nice to enjoy the pool after a day at the beach. We walked in the neighborhood nearly every day, and hit balls at a driving range within Rotonda West. We would highly recommend this property.

It's a nice home
The house was clean and overall nice. We could never get the pool warm enough to get in. By the time it got a little warm the heater would shut off. There are not really any lounge chairs to relax in around the pool. The ice maker in the fridge never worked, but there are trays to make ice so it wasn't a big deal. There is only one small light in the living room, therefore it always felt somewhat dark in the house. The screening around the pool has a lot of mold.

Very secluded place!!!
This place was amazing specially if you have pets!!! Dan was on point we had an issue with the fridge and all I had to to was made 1 phone call next thing you know fridge on the way. The pool was amazing and I must say the house was GREAT!!! THANKS DAN

The place was so clean. Had a great time. I wanted to speak with the owner or someone, I tried before our trip, 1 day of and left a message, finally the last day I was able to get ahold of the manager. I'm glad we didn't need anything pressing.
