Small scale b&b/hotel over a small restaurant/bar.
In a small village. No private parking, but free parking surrounding the hotel.
Room was very clean (assume new or recently renovated).
Little facilities other than fridge in (shared) hallway.
European style breakfast, assortment of bread/croissants/knäckebröd, tea, coffee, served to the table in the dining area.
I would recommend it.
Have not encountered anything noticable. En contraire.

Very nice small hotel in a quiet village, a great place to relax after a working day, room is big and comfortable, the shower is clean and well maintained, and they have a small restaurant that serves great local food. The staff is always available and helpful
The local people are welcoming which gives a great feeling

Mert 5 is situated in a nice little town with a nice restaurant (which unfortunately was closed as we arrived on a Tuesday - but opposite the hotel is a cosy pub that also serves food and we had our meal and a few beers there instead) serving a nice breakfast with plenty of food, juice and nice coffees and teas. the room was spacious and well appointed and the beds were really comfortable despite being a bit hard, we both slept very well which is often not the case in a “new” bed. As we arrived on a night where the restaurant was closed we were met by an employee at the hotel and he was very forthcoming and we felt very welcome. All in all a very nice stay in a very nice area that we’d like to visit again for a chance to explore more.

Its was super comfortable, cozy and warm. Its a small hotel located in a tiny town and its have everything you need for short stay. A lot of public parking spots around. Great location, 15 min from Roermond and/or design outlet by car.
I have nothing to say here... perhaps solid double bed would be more comfortable than combined two single beds as mattresses move away from eachother.

The breakfast was special. It was presented like a cream tea but with bread, cheeses, cold meats, and spreads/jams. Plenty of tea coffee and all of a very high quality. The breakfast is highly recommended.
We chose this hotel as it was conveniently situated about halfway between the channel tunnel and northern Germany (our final destination) we stayed a week later on our return journey, and on both stays the quality of service was the same. Very friendly family run hotel that is just off the main motorway and well worth the short detour off our route. Situated in a small village, the atmosphere was perfectly peaceful and we were able to sit outside next to the main square and enjoy coffee and a Gin & Tonic before our evening meal.
The evening meal was exceptionally good value with plenty of choice and of an extremely high quality.
Nothing to dislike about the charming hotel and I would highly recommend it.
Nothing to complain about. Everything exceeded our expectations.
One thing that might be an issue for those with poor mobility is that the stairs to the rooms was steep.

Beds were on the hard side to our taste.

The location was beautiful and the staff were incredibly warm and friendly.
The food was lovely and the portions were very good.
While we didn't use the fridge in the tea/coffee area, we thought it was a handy addition to the facilities.
The doors were noisy and the other guests disturbed us, continually, opening and allowing them to bang closed.
Tea/coffee facilities in the room would have been preferrable, also, this would have helped limit the noise of doors and conversation in the passageway, at all hours.

Perfect hospitality, facilities and locations. Great value! Large room and bathroom. Coffee machine and hot water for team any time of the day.
The bed consisted of two mattresses and was inconvenient for a couple.

Lovely location, friendly staff, clean modern rooms.
Our room smelled of drains. Especially the bathroom.
