La comida y el ambiente son geniales. Recomendado para los amantes de la playa y la tranquilidad.
Todo estuvo muy bien

The Humpback turtle is an awesome place to stay for an extended period and hang out, play volleyball, socialize, explore, and relax on the beach. Really can't ask for a better place to unplug and unwind. The breakfasts are exceptional, the rooms and bathrooms are kept meticulously clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.
The only issues we had are locals coming by to hangout and try to sell you tours or coconuts, but that is common throughout el valle... The water filter was also commonly empty and it was unclear whether the tap water is good to drink or not (I drank it all week with no issue).

It was on the beach
Had a kitchen to use
Hammocks were affordable option but some were too high
Staff didn’t speak English, made it hard to book tours. There wasn’t much of an atmosphere.
The hammocks didn’t come with a pillow

I had a really good time at the hostel. The vibe is very nice and it’s good to relax. The hostel is at the beach and surrounded by beautiful nature. I really liked the food, and also the staff is very amazing and friendly. I can really recommend a stay in this nice hostel.

location on the beach is the only good thing
rooms and facilities are very poorly maintained
private room still has to share bathroom which stinks and is very dirty
it is beyond me tht they charge for people to sleep in hammocks when other hostels nearby use hammocks as a relaxation…
we only stayed one night in the end as we moved to another hostel

great location right on the beach, great breakfast and comfy beds
kitchen doesn’t have a fridge and is missing a couple of useful utensils

the place is so relaxing, the beach and the layout of the camp is perfect for a nice beer and a good book. the nature around is absolutely breathtaking! the staff super friendly and fun to be around. I would go back for sure.
there is a free turtle liberation that is done by the hostel next door, we asked the staff about it in our hostel so many times they never got back to us and were going to charge us to go somewhere far on a tour.

En general un ambiente tranquilo y amable

One of the best and beautiful locations. Not expensive.
Not much nice spots to relax (hammocks and chairs). Kitchen is very basic. staff is little involved.

good location on the beach.
poor facilities. every day issues with water. some days you couldn’t shower as there was no water at all or only some drops. always missing toilet paper. I arranged surf board rental for 2 days and the second day when I got to pick up my board all the boards have already been rented. After 3 nights I moved to the Pelican House Hostel which I can only recommend.

Nice location, hippie/backpacker style vibe, relaxing atmosphere, colorful design
The staff is volunteers/foreigners that are not super helpful or engaged in their job. Breakfast is very basic. The dorms and bathrooms are not always cleaned properly.

The view and the food!
The staff was not really nice, the noise and the lack of cleanliness

This is a great classic hostel in El Valle. We stayed in a private room which was a lovely cabin. Fan was very appreciated as it gets hot. Location is perfect and aesthetically it’s a lovely place. Breakfast is included and very good. We only stayed one night as they were all booked up.
The staff were volunteers and weren’t very knowledgeable about the area/or able to answer our questions, but that’s a small thing.

The place is magic. Great surfing. Could stay there forever. Just the breakfast is not so good and its hard to get some fruits, which is very surprising for the area.

El Valle is a good place to chill. The Humpback Turtle makes it twice more enjoyable. Out of the accommodation offered on the beach, this one is probably the best place for international travellers quality-price wise. The hosts are foreigners that make the stay quite relaxing. They can help you to arrange different activities and advice on how to spend your time. The hostel offers lunch/dinner. It's a very good place for surfing. Generally, you won't have to worry about almost anything if you stay here.
