We loved the nearby access to Gleneden Beach. And we loved digging through the sand and gravel in search of agates (we ended up with 2 quart ziplock bags of agates of various size and color).

The location is the only thing we enjoyed. This house was dirty and obviously not maintained properly, dirty walls and windows, musty, moldy, broken down beds and furnishings and the refrigerator broke down half way through our stay, we'll never use Vacasa again!
1.0 / 5.0
The house was pretty run down and tired. Several light fixtures didn't work. The downstairs left bedroom had lights that would not turn off, or up in brightness, and we had to turn off the fuse to let the person sleep in that room. The master bedroom lights were at least off but I couldn't turn them on... master bath lights over shower didn't work as well. Upper hallway lights wouldn't turn off. Luckily, with the nature of our trip there, we didn't have to spend much time at the house.

The house was great and definitely met our needs. The kitchen was such a great size for two families to cook in.

This is a great house. It has nice bedrooms and is walking distance to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Wonderful property. Quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach. Everything was easy. My only complaint is the freezer door pops open. All in all a 5 star stay.

The properwas exactly as described. Great weekend spent with my son & his partner and her 13 year old son, along with my grown granddaughters and their husbands. We tood food, played games, went to the beach and explored Lincoln City. A great time was had by all!!!

Pictures are false advertising. Bar stools all have no backs (they are in a pile in the garage) and most are in need of reupholstering. 6 remotes for tv, no instructions, several don't have batteries, nothing was properly attached, nothing worked. Coffee pot was even different than the picture and had no carafe, the carafe they brought, didn't fit. Many of the pots and pans are so scratched up and rusty, they shouldn't be used. Upstairs bathroom is in the master suite, so anyone using the other bedroom better be good friends. Kitchen fridge didn't work, luckily there were extra fridges.

This home was perfectly located centrally to the things we wanted to do along the Oregon coast. The home provided enough rooms and accommodations for what we needed. It was a great stay.

Good location, short walk to beach access. This is a quieter part of the coast, but close enough to Lincoln City for groceries and other things to do. There was space for our group of nine. 3 bathrooms.
Couple of issues - our check in was delayed from 4pm to 6 pm, but Vacasa compensated us with a $100 reimbursement for our inconvenience.
The main kitchen refrigerator was not working well. Did not go below 50 degrees. Thankfully, there was another fridge in the garage, plus the mini fridge upstairs.
There was laundry (towels and sheets) in the washer when we arrived. And some sand in the downstairs shower. We counted on all beds to be usable, but one twin futon was broken. We just used the mat on the floor.
Overall, the family felt comfortable here. The kitchen was spacious and easy to work in, aside from the fridge problem. No view from this place, but we were so close to the ocean, you could hear the waves from the back deck. Nice experience.

The location is close to the ocean. There was room for all of us. The kitchen, dining, LR layout is perfect for a group of 8 and a baby.

This house was a great value and enjoyed by 4 couples. The 4th bedroom has kids futons but we brought an air mattress and the adults slept better. The home is in nice condition, just a bit dated. We enjoyed watching the Seahawk game with no TV hassles and the great internet. If you are looking for a good house at a good value - this one works well. If you’re looking for high class and a beach view…keep looking. This home had everything we needed and only 2 short blocks to the beach. Thanks for the nice stay!

For the price this house was fine. But the picture showed chairs around the island, those were all broken and in the garage leaving us with 6 chairs for 8 people to eat meals. The chairs around the table were also falling apart. My husband had to tighten the screws on a few and on one the leg fell off while one of the kids was sitting in it. So we had to be very careful with how we sat in or moved them. Leaving us down to 5 chairs for 8 people.
The beds made all our backs hurt and the ones downstairs make noise with any kind of movement. One of the futons upstairs we couldn't fold out for one of the kids so he slept on the couch. There was also nothing in the way of storing leftovers. No seranwrap, baggies, or containers. We bought some cheap ones and left them there. Another suggestion for the host would be to get some better cooking utensils. The ones there were extremely flimsy making it difficult to make anything.
The communication between us and the mgt company was awful. In hallway when you walk in it say to contact this person at this number for things or if the garbage needs picked up on garbage day. Fine, we did. Then we're told to send a message thru the vrbo app. Ok.... no reply. For days... at one point a fire alarm was going off in the hallway that no one could reach at 4 in the morning waking up the whole house. Again my husband was able to take it down and remove the battery. By that point my son and myself were both sick so we decided to leave early. Id rather be stuck in my own way more comfortable bed then stuck in that room any longer than I had to. That was on Friday 12/30 sent a message thru app saying were leaving early (original departure was 1/1) this was after the alarm the same morning where we hadnt got much sleep. Also other messages about garbage pick up and the alarm going off prior Never heard anything from them on the app until Weds 1/4 about our check out.
This is by far the worst trip we been on using this forum.
There were some other things like shoddy electrical were we couldn't find switches to turn lights on or we couldn't get some of the light to turn off once we got them on. Or lights flickering in the stairwell. If we wanted downstairs to be warm we had to turn up the heat on the main floor and open windows so we didn't roast there before going to bed.
I would not us this house again. You've been warned maybe the mgt company and host will fix some of the things. Use at own discretion

Nice location but the house is very run down: holes in the walls; barely usable cookware; old, sinking couch; dirty windows, old sleeping pillows; old, rough deck chairs; old mattresses (except primary king bed); no beach towels;
light switches are challenging to operate; bottom rack on dishwasher is broken; the front door mat is cracked in two and the lockbox falling off the wall ( those were the first indicators of what was to come).

The house was very nice, but the cleanliness not so much.
2.0 / 5.0
Although we had a great time with family, the house itself was in horrible condition. Garbage and spilled soda in the garage right by the door. All of the chairs for the bar were broken and in the garage. Huge dents on fridge and 2 broken/missing shelves. Blinds were broken. Only 2 wash cloths in the house. Couch springs were sprung. Carpets very stained. Walls chipped and in need of paint. Kitchen counter was filthy. I took lots of pictures.

Cute home
Home had everything we needed for a mom’s getaway. We enjoyed eating around the bar and cooking together. Perfect spot for a short walk right onto the beach.
Needs some electrical fixed in the master and the dining area though.

Great house for our family gathering.
BUT -it was not clean upon arrival as promised! We checked in at 4pm and the housekeepers arrived after we started doing dishes and cleaning! It was a great house and we had a wonderful time but it was a rough start! I have emailed the local VACASA manager but have yet to have the matter resolved. The head of the housekeeping dept. left a message on my voice mail and I have returned her call 4 times but have not been able to get in touch with them for further information.

It was a great price for the size of the house and for the number of people we had.
However the place could use some TLC.
The 2 beds downstairs are very uncomfortable and both box springs are broken in several places so in addition to them being uncomfortable they are very loud.
The main floor is great, the prep area, dining and kitchen are large and accommodating but the grill outside is disgusting and not in working order. The dish washer is missing 3 wheels so pulling the bottom drawer out makes a horrible slamming every time that is done. Easy repair. Several lightbulbs out throughout the main floor. Had to use the same remote for the upstairs DVD player and run it downstairs, one is missing somewhere.
The tile and walls coming into the home are in need of some grout and mud, years of misuse is our best guess.
The master bed is large and comfortable but obviously a lot of unused space with the huge closet. Not a con if you are living there but for renting the place is sad to see so much unused area.
The vents in all areas of the house were horrible. A year or two worth of dust that you can see as you go up and down the stairs not to mention the dust in the bathroom vents as well, easy to cleanup with a vacuum.

Easy walk to the beach
Lots of room, Master room upstairs is big and comfy bed. Kitchen is nice, only issues was the gas stove. It kept making a clicking sound and the smell of gas was very strong. It took about 15 min to fix itself and a call to customer service. Bed down stairs are not comfy at all, kept making noise when you move.

Won’t stay again
The house smelled so badly if bleach when arriving that some of our group was having trouble breathing and didn’t end up staying. No privacy with the kitchen door someone could look right inside and watch us. That was very uncomfortable. In the master bedroom we had a door that was locked right behind the tv that seemed extremely weird. We won’t be staying here again and if we weren’t out anything for canceling after seeing and smelling the place we would have canceled.

Nice for a short stay, some issues
House is really well laid out for dual families.
Upper stair is a very large master with a king bed with a small room with fold out beds next door which were good for our kids.
Only had a shower up in the master. The bar area is upstairs at the top of the stairs. I suppose that would have worked for older kids. We didn’t see the purpose.
Main level was large kitchen, dining and living areas. Kitchen was well stocked.
Downstairs there is 2 more bedrooms with bathrooms with a tub and washer and dryer. Bedroom were smaller downstairs but more than adequate for a short stay.
House condition is due for a refresh. Lots of chipped paint, tile floor in entry and small minor cometic issues. Everything was clean just lots of use.
For the price its not a deal killer and we come here again as the location is fabulous and one block away from Gleneden Beach.
My only real complaint which brought down the review was 1 oven mit, no scotch brite pads for stuck on dishes (we left one), bar stool and dining chairs all had loose bolts, one bar stool was so bad we put it in the garage so our kids didn’t fall off.
The hvac system program would not disable the fan. It blew the whole time.
The back patio lacked a table for outdoor dining or drinks.

Cousins trip
We have stayed here before. The neighbors are kind and the property is maintained. Access to beach is close. The closest access requires dexterity and mild rock climbing skills. The beach access a couple blocks further is more accessible for all.

Location location location!
Overall, the house suited all 9 of us very well. We enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the beach(one block up). The home is a bit dated but very comfortable. We had a few minor issues such as the lack of cooking utensils, plates are a tad bit old and scratched. Carpet has shown some wear and tear. There is a broken vent cover in the dining area that needs to be replaced(already in this condition when we arrived). Might I suggest that you have typed instructions for the use of the entertainment centers in both the living room and Master bedroom. All we found was hand written notes.
Even though I have noted a few things that can and/or will need to be addressed for future renters, we will most certainly be back again next summer to enjoy the area with family in-tow. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for a much needed family retreat.
